I have had a bunch of bluetooth speakers, looking for that perfect sound. I love music, I always have. And I'm a nut about good quality sound. In today's world of what seems like a million bluetooth speakers, I've found many disappointments. And I was trying to avoid spending the $$$$ for this one. I guess I always felt like if I went cheaper, I'd find something. And I'd use the cheaper ones, just to find myself wanting more and better sound. Finally, my wife bought this for me, knowing how I always would try to cheap out and would be disappointed. It was the best present ever. It sounds so good. And I mean, really good. It is the best sound of any portable speaker, ever. I have it sitting on my desk at work, and it sounds like a symphony at my desk. Bass is amazing. Trebles are so crisp. Mid range is amazing. It all sounds so good. Yes, it uses a proprietary charger, so what. And it only gives you 8 hours of battery time, so what. For a sound this good, I could not find a single complaint. Go ahead, buy it, and you'll see what I mean. Even other ones at this price point that I've tried, were all a disappointment. I should have just bought this and realized that it really was the best that money could buy.

Turn this device on for instant bliss! In my opinion it is worth 3 times what I paid for it. It is effortless to use, just push the on button. I use mine mostly with the music on my cell phone. Perfect reception, amazing bass and clarity... Rich sound quality. This device is my favorite electronics purchase I have ever made, take it with you anywhere you go!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's apartment in NYC. She wanted a bluetooth unit to stream music from her iPhone and iPod that had a small footprint, sounded good, and looked nice. This checked all of the boxes, plus it is a Bose product. Some people say Bose is all hype, but the factory Bose sound system in my Mercedes sounds fantastic, and this tiny unit sounds great in her apartment. The only negative I have - with all Bose products - is the premium price you pay for the name "Bose". It almost seems as if they are colluding to keep the prices fixed - and high - but if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.

I have several Bose speakers, including the SoundLink II, but this one became my favorite after about 30 minutes of listening. It is not only well made but it's small and sounds great! The sound filled up the room like it was a speaker 5 times it's size. Here is a review I made on youtube if you like to see.

Great sound from a little speaker. Only issue I have with this speaker is when I use it on the go and listen to my music at the max volume the battery doesn't last that long. I have a Jawbone speaker as well and once my Bose runs out of juice I use my Jawbone. I prefer my Bose over my Jawbone. Definitely worth the price and it is so easy to carry.

What can I say? It's snug and its of a decent quality. The case fits well on the speaker. It doesn't add much weight at all and it works with the dock seamlessly. It's a bit difficult to get on and off so don't plan on interchanging cases often. It certainly feels like it protects the speaker from scratches and falls. However the price is a bit steep for something that's essentially plastic and rubber. The sweet spot would be $16. For $25 it's slightly overpriced. But other than that great product.

I normally don't pick up any portable speakers but I needed something that would fit in my camera bag easily but would still do its job. The only problem I have had so far is that a few days after I purchased the speaker I used it at a friends house where the battery died, the next morning when trying to charge it back up the indicator just flashed red and wouldn't charge. I called BOSE to go through the troubleshooting steps and nothing worked they said they would happily replace it or I could take it back to best buy and get a new one there which is what I did. Anyway you can't go wrong with this product, it is a bit expensive but the BOSE Soundlink mini makes up for it in crisp clear sound and incredible bass for its size, especially indoors. Great purchase all-around.

Looking for great Bluetooth which you can carry around and this is my choice. Sound quality is relatively good and you can't beat the price too. The look is well built all around and it can be disguised as an apple product. Anyway if you are looking for excellent Bluetooth speaker then you won't be disappointed getting this Bose. Give it a try!

This is a user friendly bluetooth speaker that quickly links with my iphone. Sound reproduction is of great quality and clarity. The bass is much richer than I would have expected in this size of speaker. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small portable speaker or someone looking for a speaker to fit in a small space.

Absolutely amazing!!!! I never really tried the volume when I saw this in store. Once I bought it even at the lowest levels it is still a very nice speaker. Heavier than I thought but overall its wonderful! At its loudest I can hear it from every room in the house and I absolutely love it!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone!

I purchased this for my daughter's 16th birthday party to use so that there was music at the party. The Bose speaker's Bluetooth capability is very convenient. I use my phone and the Pandora application to connect and play music through the Bose speaker. Love the sound quality and ease at which I can have music wherever I want.

This is a wonderful, small speaker that delivers clear sound at very low sound levels. I took it on vacation and it was easy to transport in a beautiful hard case that I bought that fits perfectly. I have rarely loved a speaker so much since I must have music everywhere I go. I have Sonos at home and highly recommend them too

this was a great buy. its really easy to carry around and still produces really great sound for its size. battery life is pretty good and i like how it looks

I received the Soundlink Mini as a gift. It was easy to use right out of the box. The sound is very good, and it's as easy to use as my Sony iPod dock, probably easier since I don't have to balance my 5-pin iPod on the adaptor over the dock's 30-pin connection. Its size is convenient for travel, though it is a bit heavy for its size.

I have been a Bose fan for a number of years and this little speaker is a great example of Bose technology. It can fill a room with sound, but is small enough to carry in the optional case to any location you might want to take it. Battery life seems to be pretty good and you have the option of operating it on AC power.

Leave it to Bose to come up with a Bluetooth speaker that blows all the competition away. Bose is still pricey but you always get your monies worth from them. The rechargeable battery with 8 hours of music life makes this product A+ in design and in sound. A definite buy for anyone looking for serious sound quality.

Bought this to use in the kitchen, but we end up using it outside just as often. We even took it on vacation recently, and enjoyed the ease of carrying it in our backpack and using it with our iphones. Was skeptical about using Bluetooth instead of Airplay, but it works great! We've had no issues so far and love this product!
