We compared various speakers in the store and found this one to be satisfactory. Two clerks in the store recommended this speaker. It was higher priced than what we expected to pay, but the quality of the sound proved itself at an out door gathering.

I love the sound and love how compact the speaker is.

This is nice protection if you transport and handle the speaker around in a backpack. I can see how the edges can get damaged. Bose should probably change the design a bit or change materials so that this cover is not necessary. The cover does not effect the sound nor does it prevent access to the jacks or base charger.

The Bose Soundlink mini 2 is the best quality sound that i have ever heard in a compact speaker with an incredible deep bass for its size. It looks beautiful & sounds beautiful, Bose continues to be the best small form factor speakers on the market.

From the battery life to the amazing sound it is an amazing product. Easy to connect to with the bluetooth wireless options, and automatically connects everything you turn it on and your phone is in distance.

I purchased this cover when I bought my soundlink mini speaker. I wanted a light weight cover that wouldn't take away from the design of the speaker itself and wouldn't add too much to the overall size. The cover fits snug and I like that it is transparent and doesn't detract from the overall design of the speaker.

I agonized over the multitude of options out there in a Bluetooth speaker and this is the one I kept coming back to. Best clarity and tone in a package this small. There are larger units that may thump more bass, but more than I wanted to tote around.

Great quality sound and easy to take anywhere you go

Although the cover isn’t quite as thick and heavy as I had hoped, it will protect the Soundlink Mini from bumps and scratches, although I wouldn’t rely on it to absorb a drop – especially given how heavy the less-than-a-brick-sized BT speaker is. The only person I would not recommend this for, is someone who will want to take the cover on and off. It’s pretty tight getting it on in the first place, and I don’t think it would withstand constant off and on.

this is an almost perfect speaker. Great sound you would expect from Bose. It does get a little ahead of itself with the bass though. Some bass heavy songs will distort. But if you can adjust the eq, you're good. Quality product at a decent price. I wish you could use it as a speakerphone while hooked up, though.

This Boise speaker is definitely a great value. I was considering the less expensive speaker but the sound quality was not there. This speaker sounds absolutely awesome. I bought it for my wife and she raves about it. Plus the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful, I think it added to my overall perceived value.

Love the portability and the sound quality. Take the speaker to work, tailgates, beach, and other places. Also bought the travel bag/case though it was a bit more expensive than necessary for what it is. Needs to offer more protection for the $45.

Easy Bluetooth setup. Good bass & vocals for something of its size. Battery ok & quick charge. All in all, serves its purpose at holiday & party events.

The best summary of this device that I have seen stated that "If Apple made a Bluetooth speaker, it would be like this". That describes it perfectly. It is beautifully made, and has remarkably good sound. If one starts playing it, and then goes into another room, one can easily forget that it such a small device.

Sound quality is rich and deep. I suggest a potential buyer to listen and compare with other brands at a bestbuy store. When I did this, this bluetooth speaker performed much better than others on display. Wish I waited a little longer, as shortly after purchased this one, the next generation came out in June.
