Thought there'd be more power n sound from this newer generation of portable speakers from Bose

We have purchased quite a few BT products the last 2 years but this one is by far the best

It fulfilled my expectations. I wish it was less expensive but it's a quality product.

Is clear sound at 50% of the volume but not al 100%

Compact design, will work great poolside this summer

Bose is always better then most. The speaker was very simply to connect to my I-Phone and I-Pad.

Great product. I mean it is a Bose. My kid loves it and it's easy to take with.

I was looking for a portable speaker that had very good base. While this product overall has very good quality, It fell short on the base. It has good treble and mids but it fell a little short on the base. Not surprising but for the price, I found a couple of other speakers that met my needs better.

great product only down side, Battery life is not the 14 hours they say, more like nine

I own the original Soundlink and have been happy with it. But I saw this III was released a few days ago and the new design caught my eye at a local Bose store in the mall. (I did purchase from Best Buy to get my rewards points!). At home I compared the III to the original....iPhone linked to III and iPad to the original, with both set at same volume with same songs. There was no doubt the III has had a major upgrade in clarity. My original Soundlink sounded muffled and muddy compared to the III. I tested them both at mid volume and then max. The III sounded great even when full volume. At mid volumes they both sounded kind of similar, but the III edged the original in bass and clarity. Bass on the III is tight and clean, not overpowering. I tried several genres and was pleased with my new purchase! The weight is about the same as the original. The III is about a 1/2" longer and taller, depth is the same. I did like the integrated cover on the original and II (III does not have), but I will get over it. I will search for a carrying case for the III. Overall very happy with my purchase. This speaker is awesome! I plan to enjoy it for awhile (at least until the IV comes out someday...haha)

This can come with a cover or carry case. Other than that it's great!!

Bought for gift for my 28 year old son - he loves it.

For this being Bose and so expensive I expected a lot more. Not enough bass and the Bluetooth connection always seemed to go in and out. I ended up returning this item and went with the JBL extreme. It's bigger and heavier but I am very happy with it.

This product is perfect for indoor use. However, the 14 hour battery life it claims to have is misleading (at least for my speaker). As far as the quality of sound is concerned, it is great. The clarity is amazing.
