We are extremely happy with the Bose speaker. We use it with our ipod touch, and it is amazing how great it sounds. We're very pleased with the purchase.

It's a solid speaker. Holds a charge well. Presents bass well, but dynamically speaking, it's pretty bland sounding. The highs and midrange are nondescript, borderline muddy. I tried it in a variety of locations outside. On a hard surface, against a wall, away from the wall, in the middle of the patio - while some placements presented better sound than others, I felt none were what I was hoping for. I listen to music outside 6-10 months out of the year so good quality sound is important to me. The Bose Soundlinks get high ratings, but in my opinion come up short in terms of musicality. There have to be better options out there. I'm returning this one to see what else is out there in the $200-$300 range.

Clear robust sound.This is a great speaker. Worth the money.

I had bought a Sonos Play 3 and returned it for the Bose soundlink III. Although I think the Sonos had better sound quality they aren't really comparable products. This speaker is extremely easier to use and portable. I get much more satisfaction from having this around the house than an in-place plugged-in speaker. Sounds great

Purchased a Soundlink Mini- a few months ago- and it has a bit more bass response than the Soundlink III... but the III has more volume and better mid-range and treble. Happy with both- for different applications.

Nice portable speaker with a big sound. I primarily listen to rock music and it sounds great on this speaker. The battery seems to last for a while and it's nice being about to pick this up and have great sounding music wherever you go. Highly recommended if you need portable sound.

Great sound to this little unit and a bit expensive as Bose products always are...but well worth it.

Fabulous sound. The one thing I would love is a remote! If you have it hooked up to your computer and you're moving around the office or home.. you have to go over to the speaker to change the volume.

Best Bluetooth speaker you can Buy. Bose at its best.

This is a top of the line wireless bluetooth stereo. Crisp, clean sound and it can get LOUD. We use it at parties and outdoor fun. Bought one for the house and one for my sister. She too loves it!

This speaker rocks! I use it outdoors in the summer and love it. The sound and battery life is aewesome. Buy it :-)

I would recommend this speaker to anyone! The Bose SoundLink III is amazing! It provides superb quality sound.

I already owned one of these speakers but my girlfriend keep borrowing it from me. Sometimes he would take it and not tell me. That was very frustrating. Needless to say. Bestbuy had them on sale for a great price so I purchase another for her. Sound sound Quality is great. The sound is deep, crisp and refreshing. It's hard to believe that it's coming from a little speaker like that. She plays it in her hallway and it fills just about every room in the house and the house is approximately 1800 square feet. It's a must buy. Little package with a big boom and it won't hurt the wallet.

The Bose Soundlink has amazing sound, deep rich bass that makes the size of the speaker seem like it should be enormous. Great sound quality and a steal for the price.

I love this Bose wireless speaker, the sound is amazing and the battery life in really good I leave it on almost all day and only recharge every other day.

Amazing sound! Three stars because of the inability to turn off the auto-off feature (which is why I'd not recommend it). This limits where one places the unit because one must always have access to the power button (this is true whether one has it connected via 3.5mm Aux or Bluetooth). Also, their firmware update software (which should be used to give one the ability to turn the auto-power off feature off) does not recognize the speaker even after allowing the program to run for an hour (I tried it on my Mac running OS X 10.10 and my PC running Windows 10). What is sad is that this is the third model and the complaints about the auto-off feature have been the same and have fallen to deaf ears. However, the less expensive Soundlink Mini 2 appears to have the means to turn it off.

This speaker is okay for individuals looking for clear decent sound without heavy base. I was quiet disappointed with the base actually. To be honest, the JBL bluetooth speaker (in the same price category) sounded much greater when you compare the base. Overall, if you are looking for a decent base, then this product is NOT for you.

This worked out perfectly for my office needs. Good bass and overall sound. Costs more but you get what you pay for.

Great sound excellent balance of bass and highs. Let the battery run out for longer play life.
