This one has required two updates with no warning other than it quits charging. In my opinion, for the money you pay for Bose, there are other options out there with good quality that are less expensive and less headaches.

It's great to hear you decided to go with Bose again for your Bluetooth speaker of choice. These speakers out-perform what you would expect for a product of its size so it's great that you gave the Revolve II an opportunity.
Firmware updates are sometimes required to provide new features or enhancements to the products. Occasionally bugs are found long after release so these updates can patch those issues. Remember. The only thing i dont like is their app idk why haha. Just kinda bootleg. Sometimes wont find the speaker and i have to rely on that
