I wanted stereo mode. These speakers ARE suround-sound speakers. They do not play in stereo mode.They're sound is nice, but again, if looking for great stereo speakers, you'd better try another two speakers. Research beyond the store! Bose has they're own 800# with actual Bose people who know all about them.

It's great to see that you like the sound from the speaker, we're sorry you didn't get the experience you were expecting from them.
The speakers do have a stereo & party mode, both of these can be activated from inside the Bose Connect app, or directly through the speakers. For more information on how to enable both party and stereo mode, please take a look here https://bose.life/3pzRg6U.
