There's no telling how much it's been used and returned to Best Buy. I know Bose's sound, and believe me, its sound was not good at all. Yes, I'd recommend buying a new Bose, and NO I won't recommend buying 'Open Box'.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose is usually the standard of excellence when it comes to all things sound I’d say this is average at best the highs are loose and static and the low are not deep and rich compared to there standard it nice to have and aesthetically please but I wouldn’t leave the house with it either doesn’t seem real durable. This is average at best but it gets the job done.

Yes, this speaker is compatible with the Bose Connect app. The speaker doesn't have native EQ controls, but you can move it closer to a wall or corner to naturally increase bass, or further away to decrease it. You can also try tweaking the EQ on your connected device, if available. Feel free to take a look at our other speakers - perhaps these will be more to your liking.
