Love the 360 part of this speaker. Sound is amazing. I bought it for my 40 year old mother and she loves the sound quality. Bose is an amazing company.

Not for bass lovers. But sound quality is great. Would have loved it if the volume can go a little higher.

Bose has had a reputation for producing quality speakers for many years, so going in with their Soundlink Resolve, I was confident it would, at the very least, perform "well" and live up to their name. That said, after trying so many Bluetooth speakers over the years, and so often being disappointed, I did temper my expectations ever so slightly. To begin, as one would expect, the speaker is solidly built (main shell out of aluminum while the top and bottom are made from rubber), has a nice weight (while not being "heavy") and just feels good in the hand. It is somewhat water-resistant, mostly just from an occasional splash here and there, but, a nice little bonus nonetheless. It also has universal threaded mount for attaching to various accessories. Set-up is easy and straight-forward. Simply get it powered up and connect via Bluetooth. I was expecting some good sound, but honestly, I was not expecting sound this good. The rounded construction and the internals of the speaker allow for 360 degree/omnidirectional sound. The sound "throws" everywhere, and with a lot more volume that I was expecting. Not only that, but it certainly has that Bose clarity with no true recognizable drop-off in quality as the volume pushes higher. The bass is there, no doubt, and while it is not "thumping," it is clean and better that I have ever heard in a Bluetooth speaker previously. My use case for a Bluetooth speaker involves lots of taking it from place to place. The Soundlink Revolve shines here as well. The smaller size makes it great for throwing in my bag and being able to set up wherever I like. Further, the long battery life (12 hours) means it does not have to be tied to a cable as often as is usually the case. Lastly, with the use of a Bose app, you can pair multiple speakers together for even more sound and options if you know someone else who has one (or if you have more than one). My only gripe here, and it is not really a complaint, is that I wish Bose would sell a carrying case of some kind, maybe a shell, just something maybe for longer travel. I have no problem tossing it in my bag on the go, but with such a great-looking and quality product, why not offer a quality case to go with it? Just a wish, but I would pay more for the option. Ultimately, I am very pleased with this speaker and I can easily recommend the Soundlink Revolve for anyone looking for a Bluetooth speaker (with a sleek and modern design) that sounds great and can be taken with them on the go.

It's a Bose---great as always. Bought it to sync with my Samsung Tab A tablet. It was easy to sync and works great. Good clear 360 sound and great bass.

tl;dr Great output for a small speaker, with low-, mid-, and high- range. Easy setup, stable BT, bad power adapter design, simple but useful app. I'm relatively new to BT speakers because I never had much of a need, but a while back I got a Big Magicbox and was pleased with the portability and performance. I used it only for listening to news, podcasts, and audiobooks because it was never for music anyway - it falls way short for that. Now that I have this Revolve, I'm practically blown away by the full (and loud!), generous sound I can have from a small speaker (the same size as the Magicbox). Now I have a decent portable speaker for music, and the volume doesn't need to be turned up to sound good. I've got a good component system, but the Revolve lets me take music outside and elsewhere. Since Bose specs are mostly a secret and online shopping can't provide the real audio experience, all I can say is that the output doesn't sound cheap. Since it is Bose, it had better not. The 360 degree design is implemented well. On the Revolve, two devices can be paired at one time meaning you can switch (using the app or the button on top) between them and not have to bother with pairing and unpairing. The only limitation here is that, in order to use the Bose Connect app for volume, BT selection, audio controls, etc you have to reserve one of the two connections for the app on your phone (or tablet). There is an aux jack and a micro usb jack on the side toward the bottom, and a charging cradle point and pole mount threads on the bottom. The Revolve comes with a usb-to-micro usb cord and power adapter. About that stupid adapter - it's huge and is best plugged into the bottom of a wall outlet or the single wide-spaced outlet at the end of some power strips. Otherwise you're blocking more than is desirable. But, it is pretty flat. I guess that's good but it doesn't make up for how wide it is. Wall charging uses the usb cord and power adapter. I don't yet know how long a full charge takes, but going from 50% to 100% was a matter of about an hour. Alternatively, there is a charging cradle available separately. I've gotten moer than 10 hours with a recharge. I don't know how low the battery was at that point and can't yet say how long it can go on idle. The speaker is packaged with nearly zero information introducing it or using it, but setup is practically done once you plug it in. I played with the buttons on the top to see what they do and they are almost straighforward. Volume up and down, power, bluetooth (press multiple times to initiate pairing and choose between connections), aux/usb input selector (press multiple times to switch between modes), and the last (at 6 o'clock) is one I haven't yet quite figured out. One point to note - the serial number is not on the box but it is imprinted on the bottom rubber-like pad, though it is very, very small and rather indistinct. Since everyone needs their serial number at some point, it's nice to know that it is accessible in the app. Whew. My underperforming eyes were glad to see it. Bluetooth performance is outstanding so far. Quick to pair and there have been no drops in the week or so that I've used this. It handled an incoming call (on the paired phone) by announcing it, including the number. All in all, solid.

Started playing music in just a few minutes. Followed recommendations about placing the speaker in a corner to enhance the bass. Sounds great!

Bose as always a trusted brand which is expected to deliver great sound quality . Works as expected , sound quality is crisp and clear.

Great little speaker i work with the public and am complimented on the sound quality then the wow effect when i point to the little can in the corner.

In the store I loved the sound of this Bose! I don't think Bose makes a product that I don't like. The only problem was it didn't feel my room at home with that deep rich sound I was hoping for. So I returned it. Now I'm looking to buy the next size up. Or something totally different.

I've only had the device for a little over a week … and I just love it! So far, I don't see many short-comings for a speaker this size...
