Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i bought this speaker for my room and to use around the pool. the quality is amazing but the life of the battery is terrible. it says it last up to 12 hours..... absolutely not for mine, this speaker only plays for 4 hours. unsure if my speaker is the issue or in general this one doesn't last long, which sucks because i was hoping this speaker had a good battery life. i think i will keep for my room purposes.

You are correct, the battery for the speaker will last for up to 12 hours at normal listening levels. As you seem to be getting much less than this, I recommend following the troubleshooting here: https://bose.life/30SedFX I'm sure they will help with this!
