I received my Bose® - SoundLink® Revolve+ Bluetooth® speaker 3 weeks ago and my first impression was "Man, it's tiny but it sure packs a large sound!" Not only does it look great with its simple yet elegant design, but it also delivers a massive amount of sound without too much distortion. In the few weeks that I had it, it was mainly used for sports and outdoors activities. Using it in the sun by the pool seems like its natural habitat. However, when the speaker had been sitting out in the sun for too long, the metal parts did get quite hot to the touch and the battery life did suffer a bit. Thankfully, it is also waterproof on the surface (do not recommend submersion) so a little water to cool it off and it will keep on playing your tunes. The 360° speaker design allows for placement anywhere in the room to recreate a dynamic sound, unlike traditional bluetooth speakers that are more or less unidirectional and lack a depth to their sound.It should also be noted that while the bluetooth device has a pretty strong range (up to 30ft), I did notice issues with connectivity once large objects/ barriers came between the speaker and the paired device. While there are other options when it comes to bluetooth speakers in the $200.00 - $300.00 price range, none can compete with the Bose in terms of its ease of use and design element. Overall, I would give the Bose® - SoundLink® Revolve+ Bluetooth® speaker a 10/10 rating because while it is not your everyday budget bluetooth speaker, it also doesn’t produce an everyday budget bluetooth speaker sound.

It does not hold a charge and now won't connect. Won't turn on unless it is plugged in. Used it like 20 times before it quit working correctly.

This is a gem of a product! After unboxing this Beauty - yes, it really is aesthetically pleasing! - I couldn't wait to try it out. The setup was minimal and very easy - the battery a stroke of genius (I mean, really, who need an electrical cable when you are using a Bluetooth speaker?). This is a speaker that you don't mind having visible and works just as well indoors as outdoors. I even took the speaker to my father's house, because he's a sound mixer and my go-to for all things sound and music-related. He not only praised the speaker to high-heaven but also, jokingly, assumed it was an early birthday gift. The sound quality that emanates from such a small device is not only pleasing to the ear and immersive, but also fills the room without distorting the sound. Amping up the volume did not diminish sound-quality, and the sound remained consistent (not only in quality but also in space). The battery lasted several hours without showing any indication of failing (all the battery lights were still lit) and the portable design makes it a simple, yet wonderful addition to any backyard evening. I’ve recommended this speaker a few times, since receiving it and will continue to do so without reserve. My dad is also getting his very own as a birthday gift.

I think the one I received was damaged because it never worked.

don't take my word for it - just listen to it - great design - great sound - great battery life. Simply the best - not everything Bose makes meets my high and very critical standard but this certainly hits the 110% mark - all round!

This speaker is one of the best ones I have ever had. Bose really did a great job with it overall. It has great surround sound, portability and simple, yet nice design. My only issue with the device is that it sometimes takes a little bit to turn on when pressing the power button. It is definitely worth trying out.

initially set it up using my Nexus 6 Android phone Installed the Bose Connect app for Android which works as intended. The speaker works fine even set up behind my family room TV. This BT speaker works with my Toshiba Chromebook 1. My other BT speaker requires a Chromecast Audio (which is $35) in order to stream from a Chrome device. Not so with the Bose product.

I had the old Bose Sound bar mini and tried to buy a new one only to find they were out of production. I saw that these were the new models. I was hesitant at first to buy it so I bought the small one in black first and was very happy with the sound. I had it for one day and treated myself to this larger one. So I exchanged it and I'm very happy I did. I love this speaker.

I currently own what I personally think is better, the JBL Xtreme. Especially at this price point, I was really hoping for something better. I was really excited to try a new Bose bluetooth speaker after owning multiple Soundlinks. I had the Revolve+ for about 2 hours and returned it. Here's why! So don't get me wrong, this is an excellent speaker but like I said above, I think the JBL Xtreme is better. I do think this speaker "sounds it's size" unfortunately, it was kind of immersive, especially when placed in the middle of a room, getting to hear the music reflect off the walls but it lacked the punchiness I'm currently used to. The music I tested did sound warm, clear and welcoming though. Impressive highs and mids, but unfortunately the lows is where I felt it lacks. Sticking it in a corner or near a wall didn't do it much justice to amplify the low frequencies. Vocals were nice and apparent. I did feel the floor vibrate a little at higher volumes which was nice but the Xtreme does that as well but even better. I can feel the bass of the Xtreme not only on the floor, but in my clothes sometimes. It's that much more powerful! Volume gets loud at 50-60% but starts to only creep up slowly after that. The DSP becomes very apparent at 75% but still puts out acceptable dynamics in the music. At first I thought the design was laughable resembling a lantern but in that short period of time I started to appreciate the materials it's made out of and the size of it in general. Lastly, the Revolve+ lacks standard bluetooth features like charging out and wifi streaming. With all that being said, excellent speaker but I couldn't justify keeping it.

The overall rating is poor compared to my old Bose sounds.

I spent about $266 on it. Sound quality matches its value.

I rarely write a review the day after a purchase but I bought the speaker yesterday after reading all the reviews that said "I can't believe how many people commented on my new speaker!" I had 30 people over at an outdoor event and I actually had to move this speaker away from the crowd so we could hear ourselves talk (that's how loud it is) and I received multiple unsolicited compliments on the sound. Paired with multiple devices with no issue. Easy to switch between devices (simple button press). Crisp clear sound with excellent bass. Carried well in my back yard. Sounds great anywhere. Compact, great battery life, etc. Even made a phone call (it will announce the caller). Only con was the price but currently no regrets!

A very powerful big speaker like quality product.Anyone will fall in love with this beauty. it is so sleek and well made that it is a beauty to look at. and when its switched on what a beast like quality of its sound.. you woudnt want to keep any other space taking speaker at home. it lives upto its hype and gives you the best quality of sound. absolutely powerful. very easy to connect to your devices especially your phones. definitely recommend to everyone.

Well made and great sounding wireless speaker. Easily paired with laptop/tablet/phone, has sufficient range to take outside when working in yard or grilling without having the signal drop out.

I'm very picky about audio...Personally if i'm going to pay this much for a speaker i'm going to want a complete experience. For me this means listening in stereo. For Bluetooth speakers this means having more than one. I originally purchased the UE Boom speakers and was happy for a few months, but started having connection issues. If you can't pair the speakers and put them into stereo mode what good are they? So i sold them and researched all of my options. I wasn't excited paying for 2 of these, but on paper it looked like it would solve my issue. I travel a lot and love having my music/audio with me on the road. These were sexy little beasts to look at and all of the reviews said the audio was fantastic. Trying to save money i purchased the smaller Revolve speaker, but ended up returning that after a few hours of listening because it didn't give me the bass response i wanted. Once i got the + speakers and set them up in my room i was hooked. The sound was fantastic and linking them together was a must. The process wasn't easy - getting them to conect in "party mode" and then "stereo mode", but it was easier to do than the Boom and once it was linked it was pretty solid. Well there have been 2 firmware updates in the year i've had these and each update has brought better and better connectivity. Now when i pair them it is awesome and i'm on my way. I'd recommend these speakers to anyone looking for amazing portable sound and has a little bit of disposable income to burn...

so, I wrote a review for the Bose website a few weeks ago but since then I've fallen even more in love with this speaker. I use it in the bathroom, my bedroom, kitchen, and outdoors. It moves easily and is really meant to do anything. The battery is outstanding as well. As always the sound is impeccable. Im so impressed with this product and the advancements that Bose has made with a chargeable bluetooth speaker.

Love this speaker! Got this about 4 weeks ago. Got it because I wanted something different. The sound is clear, deep base, clarity is amazing! Great for outdoor use as well! One thing I really like also is the water resistant! It got rained oun during a party and didn't even hurt it! Worth every dollar if your looking for something that sounds great and looks good! Great job Bose
