I am an audiophile and I love music. I have been around BOSE and their products since I was a child. Let me start off by saying that there is nothing on the market that is even close to this product. If you know nothing about Bose, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. This speaker may look small, but the sound quality is absolutely awesome. Both at high and low volumes there is virtually no distortion. You will not believe the clarity, sharpness, the lows, the highs, and the amazing sound that this little power-house puts out. The unit easily paired with my laptop computer, portable headphones, as well as my Iphone 7 plus. The unit is completely portable, so feel free to bring it into any room of your home, or play your music outside. I have played the unit for several hours and still had battery life. No complaints here. I do have the "cradle" that Bose sells as an add-on. I usually keep the speaker on the cradle to charge. The speaker has a built in handle on top of the unit, which makes it very convenient to move the speaker anywhere your choose. Bose definitely has a winning product. Delightful to own.

Disclaimer: I received this product to use and post my views about the same. I didn't receive any money or any other benefit to do so. Also I am supposed to return the product once done with my review. About the product. Product build: Product has very sturdy build. Not so heavy, extremely portable due to small size and light weight. Won't recommend it using around swimming pool no water protect. Initial Setup: Ok so it speaks. It will tell you when it turned on, Bluetooth connect/ disconnect (along with device name, which it got connected to) Also tell battery percentage. These features are super cool. but sometimes its a bit annoying (it keeps on saying device ready to connect). Connecting phone to device was smooth, never experienced any connection drop. Sound quality: I loved the sound of this speaker. Don't under estimate sue to its small size. This speaker is good enough to fills a small to medium size room with sound. Thanks to 360 sound. No sound distortion at high volumes. Battery: Loved the battery. I used to 4 weeks now and had to charge it thrice with daily usage of 1-2 hrs. And no you cant use it as a power bank which would have been a good feature (I have a JBL charge2+ which does that). Over all: I think this product is a good value for money. Great sound , Google voice works well. awesome battery and extremely portable. You wont regret buying this thing. unless you want water protection.

What;s in the box ---------------------- Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker, Charging Adapter , Charging Cable and User guide How does it look --------------------- Looks like a mix of google home and Amazon Alexa, its got a nice weight and does not look plasticy, looks like a premium build quality, it is made of mostly metal and some plastic on top. Connectivity ---------------- Very simple , you put it in pairing mode and turn on Bluetooth on your source which can be a tablet/phone and pair the device to the speaker. There is also a help voice which tells you if the device has been paired and to which device (It speaks out the device name) Sound Quality ------------------ Excellent, Nice Highs and very well balanced lows. For the size, it puts out a good amount of sound without any distortion even on reaching the max volume. it can fill a 600 sqft room with good crisp sound. You can use it outdoor as well, it may not bother your neighbor at the same time, you can listen to good music at your deck or patio For the sound quality, i had a chance to compare it to TDK Life on Record speaker which is 9 times the size of this speaker and the Bose comes out on top. the volume may not be as high as the TDK but it beats the TDK in sound quality and Clarity Range -------- Range of connectivity might not be as good as my Sony Bluetooth Headphones, i think the range would be around 15 feet.

I had high hopes going into this so maybe my expectations were a little high considering this speaker was a Bose product. After unpackaging it, I initially noticed the small size of the speaker. It was very simple to set up and pair to my phone after plugging it in. A voice prompts you on what to do just like most newer Bluetooth speakers made by well known manufacturers. After pairing it I decided to give it a whirl and see what kind of sound it would produce. I have to say that I was not impressed; the low level sound that most Bose products are known to produce was not there and at high levels the sound was distorted. I listened to everything from soft rock, to EDM to hip hop to see if I experienced the same issues and I did. The speaker is convenient to unplug and move about. The sound does fill a small room since it does have directional speakers facing every direction and because of it's small size and mobility is great for outdoors, just don't expect to impress your guests at a party with it. I assumed Bose would jump on the AI bandwagon with it's latest technology to keep up with the competitors but that is not the case as this is just another wireless Bluetooth speaker. If you are in the market for one that is portable, chargeable and produces decent sound then this may be for you although at a Bose price point I would suggest shopping around.

Starting with the packaging, the Bose Revolve comes in the typical high quality and well thought out packaging with everything packed very efficiently! Now whats included in the box isnt much... -Speaker -Micro USB cable for charging -Manuals The speaker itself has a great build quality as well however I wouldn't expect any flaws to be had with Bose but there was a little one on my unit where the bottom of the perforated metal starts the the rubberish base begins, the rubberish part seems to extend past the base some so there is a lip on one side and flush fitment on the other. This does not effect the performance of the speaker at all just something to note. Moving on the most important trait of the speaker, the sound quality. Lets just say I took it out of the boxed hooked it up to charge and started playing music and my jaw dropped. I kept asking myself how does this quality comes out of a speaker so small?! The bass is good up to about 80% volume and then you do start to loose it, it doesn't distort but rather becomes less noticeable. The mids and highs are rather crisp and present throughout the sound level and stay there all the way up to 100% volume. Now the biggest feature of this speaker is the fact it is a 360 degree sound speaker so you can hear the same thing all the way around. Now the fact Bose was able to pull this off so well is just amazing! There is even a threaded tripod type mount on the bottom of the speaker. Battery life seems good so far with no concerns about not coming close to the advertised 10 hours of life. Overall I was very impressed with this speaker and would definitely recommend it! The optional or separate charging base is a very nice feature and would also recommend that for simple charging and a more secure base on flat surfaces. The Bose app is also available to keep your device up to date and to be used to change some settings and also as a music player.

The new Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker lives up to the Bose name from a sound/performance standpoint, but is lacking some features. It's a very easy setup, battery was charged when it arrived and easily connected to my iPhone 6. Was up and listening to music in seconds. On initial setup your language preference is selected for "voice prompts" and that's about it. Sound - The sound is magnificent as expected from a Bose speaker. It's designed to look similar to some of the smart devices currently on the market, with a round shape that emits music at 360 degrees...assuming that's where it gets its name? Build - build quality is top-notch, again as expected from Bose. It's sturdy and a bit on the heavy side for a "portable bluetooth speaker" but certainly can be carried or packed in a bag to travel. There are 2 colors to choose from, the one I received is black/grey. Control buttons are all easily accessible on the top of the unit and on the base, there is a connection for a stand and the charging dock..which is sold separately. Features - Pretty straight forward, again, controls are all on the top of the unit. It's water-resistant and can be controlled by Bose's app "Bose Connect". It provides basic connection and adjustment controls, but nothing too fancy. Two devices can be pared to the Revolve at once. What's Lacking - I have used portable bluetooth speakers from other manufacturers that allow for connecting multiple speakers together to fill a larger space. It does not appear that is possible with the Bose Revolve. Personally I'd like to see some additional control features on the Bose Control App, but that's a different piece. Overall - I would recommend this speaker for anyone looking for great sound in a small bluetooth speaker format.

I bought this Bose speaker to replace a previous Bose speaker that served me well. This SoundLink looks great, is well built and sounds fantastic! Unlike my previous Bose Bluetooth speaker, which had to be unplugged to be portable, this speaker offers an optional charging base. So, the base stays plugged in but the speaker just sits on the base to charge and you simply lift off the speaker and go. Nice! Unfortunately, the charging base doesn’t live up to Bose’s high standards. I had issues getting the speaker to charge using the base and the power connector going into the base is less than secure. I returned the base for a new one and, so far, it seems to be working properly. I really love the charging base concept because unplugging the speaker and having the power cord fall behind my desk was a pain. As with all Bose products, you’re paying a premium. In my mind, it’s worth investing a little more for their superior sound and build quality. Buy this speaker. You’ll wind up using it even more because of the “grab and go” convenience and how great it sounds.

Let me start by saying that I have a few other speakers to compare this model to. These include: Amazon Echo, Echo Dot 2, Bose SoundTouch 10. These are all in the same genre of speaker I would say. First the size: it is about the size of a soda can. It actually has a very solid weight to it. It's surprisingly heavy for it's size. Definitely not cheap feeling! The sound: I have to say, this thing is VERY impressive! It sounds incredibly clear and has plenty of bass to fill out the sound. The volume is fantastic! It gets loud enough to very clearly fill a modest sized room. I haven't used it outside yet, but I would imaging it has plenty of volume for use at the beach. Having a built in battery is a great bonus. I haven't tested the battery life, but based on past Bose experiences I'm sure it's probably close to the stated amount. If you like having music next to the pool, then the splash resistance is yet another plus. The sound completely destroys the Echo Dot. No comparison. My larger Echo is currently in storage, but based on my memory this is much clearer sounding than that Echo. The SoundTouch 10 of course gets louder and has more bass. It is the same price as this speaker, but doesn't have the splash resistance nor the rechargeable battery. So this speaker can fill a gap that the SoundTouch 10 cannot. Something very cool that this can do is play in stereo with a second SoundLink Revolve. Unfortunately I do not have a second one to try this with, but I would love to try! And finally, yet another clever feature is the threaded hole at the bottom for mounting to a tripod. This makes perfect sense since you can elevate the sound to use at a party.

I am not tech savvy at all. I'm practically illiterate when it comes to technology. So I love it when I have something that makes using it easy and effortless. There are no tricky bells and whistles to this device. You simply unbox, plug in and start using. There's a nice boop boop sound letting you know its plugged in and charging. Turn on the button at the very top and it asks what language you want to use. You can scroll through the languages using the + or - keys. When you've come to the language you desire, select the multifunction key. Its the key directly across from the power button with three dots. Pairing with your device is easy. Turn Bluetooth or NFC on and choose the Bose Soundlink. I like that you can charge the soundlink and move to another room. I definitely suggest downloading the Bose Connect app on your phone. With the app you can control volume, connect to another soundlink and have two playing music in different rooms; set a timer for the music to turn off or stay on; change the language; or check out the user manual. The user manual shows you how to pause songs, skips songs, skip back on songs, make calls, reject calls, accept calls, skip between calls, end calls, or mute and unmute calls. All the usual stuff. This device is easy and convenient. Great for large get-togethers. I would recommend to anyone who has parties or family events where music is a big deal. Another great feature is it has an AUX port (no cord) so you can connect to a speaker and do some surround sound. I like that I can connect it to my record player as well and let the sound amplify. I can play songs from my phone onto my record player while keeping my phone with me.

The BOSE name is synonymous with quality sound. This speaker lives up to the hype. At first, I was skeptical that this speaker would not meet my expectation of what a Bose's speaker should / would do. THIS LITTLE SPEAKER EPITOMIZES EVERYTHING THE BOSE BRAND PERSONIFIES! It connects easily and at a moderate volume level, I can jam out my entire house. It is LOUD and the highs are tight and lows are deep, simply amazing. My only negative would be the way the volume up works; I do have an older android. I turn the volume all the way on my phone and then on the speaker directly. Not cool but again, may just be my phone. What is cool is the speakerphone feature (works like an office conference call device). I love that you can put it in the middle of the room and my entire family can talk to Paw-Paw, with crystal clear clarity. I did down load the app but did not ever need to use it to connect to any device. I baby my device but the build is solid and heavy. That said I never plan to find out how durable it is because of my love for it. The unit sits nicely alone. I have the charging base as well and highly suggest this add on for piece of my mind stability and charge through use.

Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker Very nice sound for such a small package! Very portable and quick to connect via Bluetooth to a variety of devices >> Android phone, laptop, desktop... makes it easy to move from office to bedroom to den for use with whatever device is handy. Excellent sound quality and Bose always did have the knack for using one speaker pod to produce sound that doesn't seem to come from any particular place but fills the whole area with a uniform sound with good range. Would like to have this same system with an interactive mode that works with Google Voice or Microsoft Cortana... hopefully Bose will get there with the next model. Meantime this is a "cut above" the multitude of bluetooth portable speakers that are flooding the market. Always a good choice to go with Bose for good craftsmanship and a solid piece of sound equipment. Take the "el cheapos" to the pool, but this one will fit anywhere in the house to provide anything from nice background ambient music to more robust Rock'n'Roll for a nice little party! Note there are several inputs to charge with standard mini-USB cable or plug in and audio input jack for mp3 player or other devices that are not blessed with Bluetooth capabilities. Will work with phone calls for Andoid phone >> sounds OK but lacking some volume and clarity compared to using the phone directly. Recommend the charging cradle to keep the speaker topped off or for extended "all day" play.

This speaker is small, it looks similar to the Amazon Echo. The sound is amazing, crisp, clear, even at high volume, no cracking, breaking up. You can really hear the bass. 360 degree sound, water resistant. There is a Bose connect app which adds more features & you can make & answer calls with speakerphone. You can plug in to charge with included USB & adapter or buy the charging cradle to keep it charged all the time. You can play music while it is charging. It talks to you too, recognized that it's my iPod that is playing. I was able to connect the iPod very easily through Bluetooth. Set-up was easy too, but there are basically no directions included so you have to figure out the buttons yourself. That would be the only thing they could've improved on is a user manual. The app has one on it but when I went into it, it said it was unavailable. Which is pretty ridiculous, so hopefully they add it soon. I'm not sure if this projects as much as the Bose mini, I'd have to compare them side by side but for it's size it sounds amazing & you could take it anywhere.

Before even i write this review i must tell that music and audio is very personal choice. I usually like Bose speakers and have owned Bose Cinemate and Soundlink II speakers and have really enjoyed those. (still enjoy that :)) After listening to both speakers for a week(Revolve and Revolve+), I would recommend to go with Bose Revolve unless you really need this. With extra 100 bucks Revolve+ speaker is very heavy on Bass and have extra few hours of battery life. But it comes with additional weight (Bulkier). I personally don't like very heavy Bass. But that is completely a personal choice. I feel Revolve looks cuter than Revolve+ because of its size. I got a Revolve and that works great for me. (Still i love my Sound link over this though :) ) Many people told that Revolve + is louder in volume, but i couldn't make difference in my apt room. This is a great speaker to hear some music while working or cooking or just laying around on weekend, Revolve will be your friend. And again Music and audio is personal choice so you might like to go to a best buy store and see a demo for yourself. I saw my speaker getting heated when i connect it directly to the wall for charging, but it does not heat up if it is on charging cradle. I don't know if its a problem with just my speaker or its a general problem. Anyway just wanted to let you know.

The Bose Soundlink revolve is an awesome bluetooth speaker. Unlike the older Soundlink model this one has a new circular standup design. This is great for a couple reasons. It takes up less space on the surface, the sound is 360 degrees, and it can be placed in something like a cup holder of a chair. In the box you get the speaker, a micro usb cable and and a power brick for charging. The pairing process was very simple after taking it out of the box you can simply power It on and select your language. After the language is selected you can go into your bluetooth settings and connect to the speaker. The battery life for the speaker is decent rated around 10 hours. Their is an optional docking cradle which will allow you to set the speaker on top of it for charging. It can be used while charging and then quickly grabbed for on the go. The speaker does have some weight to it but overall is lightweight and can easily be carried in a bag, My only complaint about it is that it does not seem to be extremely loud but for a speaker of this size it does what it is expected.

This is room filling sound that is for sure. I can't even begin to describe how much I love this product. This speaker is pretty small but packs the punch of a very loud speaker. I put it on my coffee table and it sounds like I have multiple speakers in my living room. Especially compared to my one directional Bluetooth speaker. There is surprisingly a lot of bass coming from it too, not enough to drown out any of the music but enough to wow me. (Not a fan of beats bass drowning out the music) It's like the Bluetooth speaker version of over the ear headphones. It is shocking how loud this gets too. I tested this for many hours over the last few days, battery life is on line with what they say. The fact that I can take it into the shower and by the pool this summer is amazing, for features like that I would expect to pay more than this coupled with the sound quality. This connected seamlessly to my iPhone 7plus. I didn't even need directions it was so fast. I can't say anything bad about this speaker it's amazing and I will never go to anything else until I get a new larger house then maybe I will buy the bigger version of this. Until then this cool looking resolve speaker is perfection. (Such a unique design for a speaker too I really like the look.) one thing I would like is a case for it. I don't like my stuff getting scratched up, when I carry this in a bag with my stuff it will probably get banged up.

Simple Review: Buy this unit. No Gripes to find on this one! Extended Review: When you get this product first thing you notice, besides the quality Bose name, is how small the speaker itself is. Which normally when I see a small speaker in the Bluetooth world I get nervous! Once you pop it out of the box you see it's pretty straight forward packaging the unit, it's cable and wall plug. I did appreciate that they went with a micro usb charger for this speaker so I could literally use any of my many phone chargers to juice it up especially since they give you less than 5 ft of cable in the box. Once you turn it on it's a breeze to setup. You hit the power button and it goes step by step talking you through the process and lets you know when it connects successfully. One thing that I always loved/hated about Bose is you get amazing sound quality but you usually get a cap on how loud you can make it so for people like myself you can't crank it up. This is not the case with this Bluetooth speaker I never got to full volume when I played with it and the sound quality was clear and crisp with plenty of bass to satisfy most. This speaker is nice and for it's very small form factor and the 360 design which has become popular this last few years. It's simply amazing if you are debating about this speaker I do hope my review put your mind at ease because you will not be disappointed. Thanks

Very compact but feels hefty. Looks great with understated design. Main body appears to be black/dark gray and is made of aluminum with bottom and top accented with soft touch rubber. Standard 3.5mm jack for AUX input, Bluetooth, and standard micro USB charging connector. Under the base of the unit are 4 contacts for the charging cradle and a standard threaded mount like on the bottom of a camera so you can attach the speaker to a tripod or anything with the same type of screw on mount. I really like this feature! And then there is the huge sound that comes out of this tiny speaker. I'm no audiophile but it sounds great to my ears, and the sound is expansive and does have decent bass as well. I have used my speaker with all kinds of music, news shows, Echo Dot, Audio Books, Movies, TV shows, iPhone, iPad and mounted it on my tripod in my SUV. I got all I expected out of this little speaker with the last peasant surprise being the great battery life. I used it three days without charging... I didn't track to see if it was really 12 hours total but it felt great to have a wireless device that lasted two plus days with out any concern for charging; very nice!! As I said this is my first Bluetooth speaker and I'm very happy with it, and the charging cradle. Charging cradle is a must have too! I may splurge and get another one of these soon.

As of this writing, this speaker has an average rating of 4.8 after 885 reviews – a near-perfect score and a large sample size. There’s a reason for that. The speaker is superb – not just for its size and price, but superb overall. In my opinion, there is nothing in his size or price range that can touch it, and I am both a musician and an audiophile. The bass is surprisingly good for a small portable speaker – I can see why many reviews use the word “amazing“ – and comparable to much larger speakers. It is also well-balanced, impressively clear and crisp in the high and mid ranges. It’s even better than the Soundlink Mini II, and that’s saying something. The speaker is also well-designed, well-built, and aesthetically pleasing. Indeed, in addition to sounding great, it’s rather cute. I would strongly recommend the charger/base that can be purchased separately for about $30. It’s very convenient and saves you the trouble of plugging and unplugging the device if you move it around. If you buy two, you can use both simultaneously through a Bluetooth device such as an iPhone or iPad through the Bose app.

The speaker sound pretty good for it's size. I am no audiophile and don't really have an ear for details but I enjoy this speaker. It sounds better than my older JBL charge 2+ speaker and few other speakers that I have heard. The sound is real 360 degree and it easily fills up the biggest room in my house. It maintains the sound quality even at the max volumes (you would expect that from a $200 speaker :)). It sounds good even outdoor and in my backyard. It's small size makes it easy to carry. It holds the battery pretty good. I play it for around 30 mins everyday and I haven't charged it for almost 2 weeks. So both playback as well as stand by battery performance seems to be good. It's shock and IPX4 water resistant which means it can handle mild shocks and splashes. So, overall a pretty good speaker which sounds very good and easy to handle because if it's size and specifications (long batter life, shock and water resistance).

Do not buy a Bose speaker! Why? Google “my Bose soundlink revolve won’t charge”. Mine stopped charging after 6 months. I had it plugged in and the orange light was blinking, which looked like it was charging. It was not charging. The battery level continued to drop While it was plugged in and appeared to be charging. So, I did the Google search. This charging problem is a known problem. I tried the suggestions, and for me, as well as many others with these speakers, nothing worked. The sound quality is fantastic. I would say that the Bose has the best sound quality of the portable speakers on the market. However, I will never buy another Bose. I will not support a company that has a Known hardware problem and does nothing to improve durability. I bought an Altec Lansing to replace it. The sound quality is almost as good and Altec Lansings are virtually indistructable.
