As ;you can see, the charging cradle looks like a coaster-a small disc-shaped object, maybe 4inches in diameter, with a sleek, low profile appearance. Hookup to the speaker is easy with the metal prongs and circular form that plugs into the speaker's base. Once the speaker is correctly fitted onto the cradle, a sound is emitted that lets the user know it is correctly connected. Very easy to use.

Overview: This puck style cradle makes charging the Bose Revolve+ very convenient.
The Good:
- Super easy and straight forward to use.
- Pretty minimal design that doesn't stand out.
The Bad:
- Doesn’t come with its own cable and charging adapter.
- Light weight and is easily pulled off the table when speaker is not docked.
- Top surface is plastic and scratches too easily. Should have been metal like the base.
Cool Extras:
- Plugging the cradle into your computer via USB and docking the Revolve lets you charge the speaker as well as route computer audio through the Revolve. It’s super convenient and an overall neat feature for something advertised as only a charging cradle (manual doesn't mention this feature at all).

Great addition to Bose Revolve

The charging cradle makes charging the Bose Revolve Speaker a breeze. I would have preferred the cradle be included with the speaker, regardless it is a nice accessory for the speaker. The only negative, which isn't an issue for me, is that the speaker must be oriented properly to sit on the cradle. Otherwise, the cradle charges the speaker and makes it far more convenient to grab the speaker and move it when desired.

Purchased the Bose charging unit to go with the player. Wasn't thrilled for having to purchase a base unit with the price point of the player already. It does however look nice and makes charging simple when not in use.

Design could be better

Got this for the Bose Soundlink Revolve and for the most part, it works. The speaker sits on it and it seems like one unit. The design could be better. There is a recessed channel under the cradle for the cable and I think there should be something to hold the cable in place. When you move the cradle around you have to reposition the cable in the channel so that it sits flat, not on the cable. How the speaker docks on to the cradle could be better too. Four pins sticking out should on the speaker and the cradle should have the flat contacts. Could see those being damaged easily sticking out like that. Docking it in the dark is a challenge but not impossible.
Other than that, It works great!

If you your like us music is an everyday all day thing in our home. We definitely enjoy listening while cooking, BBQ ing, or just hanging with friends. We found the bose speakers sound best. So glad bose made this cradle charger. The connection on the speaker broke so were unable to charge it. We learned they had this paid about $30. So convenient, very happy that it charged the speaker fast! Simply just sit the speaker in top of the charger... and that's it! Well done bose... I'd highly advise this product.

Makes it so I don't have to keep plugging in a wire, just set on top. Great addition and will save the port from going bad on speaker.

The soundlink revolve charging cradle is a must have for the speaker. It doesn't take up much more space than the speaker but makes it very convent to grab the speaker off the charger and go. It allows you to plug the charger into the cradle and then the speaker just sits on top of it.

Works great. My speaker is the last thing I have with usb micro, so it’s nice to be able to just leave this on my work bench and charge from this rather than trying to keep track of an odd cable.

This comes in handy all the time, i use the speaker every week for about 10 hours a week and placing the speaker on this charger helps makes the charging process easier. Yes the speaker comes with a charger but it feels flimsy, like almost like you can break it by mistake, so having this little charging platform helps.

Spend the money and get the dock. I bought 2 soundlink revolves and it helps out so much to have these docks to let them chill. The cable to USB directly plugged in method sucks. That's why I bought 2. My regular soundlink mini II had it included and I got spoiled. So yes read this review and say "yes, what the heck, I'll buy it." It's a no brainer. When your done using the speaker just set it down on the dock or leave it on the dock on your desk or wherever . It also saves damaging built in USB port on the back of the speaker from repeated use

The charging cradle fits both the Revolve and the Revolve+ from Bose. It does not come with its own power adapter, instead relying on the one supplied with the speaker. Given the price I would have expected it to have its own charger.
The design is good, it has a guide to assist in positioning the speaker molded into the base. Using the base eliminates the need for plugging and unplugging the micro USB, making charging easy and reliable.

Bose Charging Cradle It's Ok

Bose Charging Cradle is good looking very slim. the style is very nice small round very well made. The charging cord slides in the port and the cord stays out of the way. It is very easy to dock the speaker on the cradle every time. There is not much you can say about a docking cradle you don't have to have this one for the speaker it does have a charging port on the back of it this does make it easy to charge and looks good.

Not thrilled with Bose Revolve Charging Cradle

The Bose Revolve Charging Cradle will allow you to charge either the SoundLink Revolve or SoundLink Revolve+ speakers without having to constantly fumble with the micro-USB connector on the back of the speaker.
Once the cradle is plugged in, you just need to sit the SoundLink Revolve(+) Speaker correctly and it will charge. A nice and easy solution to charging a decent speaker.
Unfortunately, there are a few shortcomings.
First, out of the box, there is no charging cord nor wall adapter included. You are only getting the charging cradle.
Second, it is difficult to plug in micro-USB charging cord into the cradle. In order to plug this in, the cord needs to navigate its way about 2/3 of the way in from the back, and about 1/3 of the way in from one side along a channel that is almost too narrow for my stubby fingers while navigating a bend. Why not just plug into the back of the cradle?
Third, its based on contact charging. I was hoping for inductive charging. Inductive charging has been charging electric toothbrushes and many cell phones for years. Instead, there are 4 small spring loaded contacts that transfer power from the cradle to the speaker.
In order to align with the contacts correctly, there is a c-shaped feature on the top of the cradle that matches a c-shaped groove on the bottom of the speaker. I've taken to dropping the speaker onto the cradle and giving it a little twist to make sure I've gotten it onto the cradle correctly.
Overall, the cradle does what its supposed to do. It charges the SoundLink Revolve(+) speaker. Unless I was constantly moving the speaker around and worried about the wear and tear of the speaker's micro-USB port, I probably would not recommend this cradle.

The pros: It sounds very good and charging in the cradle is handy. The cons: Doesn't move well, too much setup between uses
I like it, glad to have it. The sound is good for a unit of this size. Not as rich as you might like but again it's small. I'm not big on the cradle as the cable will move and get under part of the unit so it doesn't sit flat. Not a problem if you don't move it but I do. Be aware that it sits loose in the cradle so don't try to pick up the whole unit at once, the speaker will fall. No big deal there. Also between uses you'll need to reawaken it by hitting the main power button, then the Bluetooth or USB buttons to re-connect. I'd like to be able to come back to my desk, hit play and listen, not fiddle with it first.
I haven't used it much outside the cradle so I don't know about battery life. The microphone is fair but if you rely on one, try a standalone. I like this unit, glad to have it. If you think the features will meet your needs then you'll probably like this one.
