Charges the speaker quickly and the notch in it that matches/mates up with the speaker make it easy to make sure the speaker is fully seated and lined up correctly to assure a good charge.

Overall, awesome, I can charge and play speaker at the same time. I feel for a $300 speaker, it should be included with the price of the speaker.

If it wasn't for where the USB port is located in the charging cradle I would have given it 4 stars instead of 2.
