    It is very easy to recharge the Bose speaker. All you need to do is line up the contacts (you can rotate the speaker slightly for contact to be made) and the charging light goes on.

    Bought this to use plugged in at work while I travel with the charger that came with the speaker. This charging cradle does not come with a power source to make it work. You have to buy it separate and it is not stated on the box.

    This works just as well as plugging the usb cord into the device. The only real downside is that it is not very easy to dock the Bose for charging. We mostly just charge by usb.

    Really unnecessary as this battery last a long time. I had a problem with the cord that didn't come with it kept falling out of it.

    Does its job. You can't put the speaker in any position, it needs to be rotated specifically to match the U-shaped space under it. It's better than plugging in the cable, but it should just come with the speaker

    Need if you have the SoundLink Revolve Speaker

    If you have the SoundLink Revolve speaker this is a must. it allows you to recharge the speaker safely without the fear of overcharging it which will do damage.

    I thought this would be a great companion to the speaker, but it has been nothing but frustration. It is very difficult to get the speaker seated into it, far from just setting it down onto it. What's worse is that the microUSB connector doesn't stay plugged into the device so as you move it around to try to get the speaker into the cradle, the USB plug comes unplugged, requiring me to set the speaker down, get the microUSB plugged back in, and then retry getting the speaker seated not the cradle. Horribly designed product, I expect much more from Bose.

    I read reviews for this before purchasing my Bose Soundlink Revolve speaker. The reviews said it is not necessary to have since you can charge your Soundlink Revolve with the charger plug that comes with the Soundlink Revolve. I figured I would buy it and check it out for myself. The reviews were correct. You do not need the standalone charger since the plug that comes with the Soundlink Revolve does the same thing. Based upon this, I returned this product to the store.

    Works for what it was sold for. It's not as easy though to dock as the soundlink mini. I always have to pick it upto align it. But it does charge it without having to keep plugging it in

    Shortcomings of Bose Cradle

    While functioning properly the designers failed to provide an intuitive orientation for seating the speaker into the cradle. An indent in both the speaker and cradle would serve this purpose nicely.

    Don't buy it. Cannot get the cord which comes with the speaker to go in. Terrible design. I just use the plug for my speaker. I wasted my money

    purchased Bose SoundLink Micro Portable Bluetooth Speaker and Best Buy associate said this would work to charge that. It does not. Had to return item
