Don't waste your money

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your time and money over this charging cradle, I never found the purpose of this charger, I ask an associate what was the point of this charger, and he told me that I could keep listening to music while charging the speaker with this cradle, which wasn't possible only with the cable. I did try it at home and my speaker was playing music while charging it only with the cable.

The speaker fits on the base in a very specific way, have to pick both pieces up and fit them together like a puzzle and hope it stays while plugging in the base. Total waste of money. The speaker can be plugged directly in.

Why not just have a straight track for the cable. Completely useless

It is pain to keep the power cord in because of the angle and the slightest jiggle loosens it. To actually place the speaker on the charger is also a pain. Even though it looks like you have everything lined up, chances are you don’t and it takes a minute or two to get the right angle. If I am spending $300 on a speaker I should not have to pay $30 extra for a charger

It allows you to dock your SoundLink Revolve without having to plug a cable into the Revolve, itself. You align the conacts on the Revolve and the Cradle, and it'll start charging. Sometimes it can take a moment to rotate the Revolve to get the the contacts to touch, but aside from that small obstacle, it does pretty well. Worth the price point? Not sure, but now that I've had it for a while, it does allow me to be lazier with cable-fiddling, but also lets my SoundLink Revolve be charged and ready to go. You can also play music while charging, which is certainly nice, but you don't need the Cradle in order to do that. In the end, it's a decent product, but the price is steep for something that doesn't really add much functionality—it merely improves a minor annoyance. Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Returned it and got my money back. Bose is usually really well made and always works, but for some reason this one did not. This was probably a fluke, but nonetheless I was pretty disappointed.
