Great idea, poor execution
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll be returning this and asking for another one. Typical Chinese crap. Nice idea, works fine, but cord will not stay plugged in. Design does not make any provision for strain relief on cord and gravity pulls it loose. Maybe its just poor quality control and the next one will be better.

Posted .Hello,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the SoundLink Revolve charging cradle.
Have you tried using the official USB cable that comes with the speaker? Not all cables are created equally, so I would encourage you to use this.
If the issue persists, do not hesitate to get in touch with Bose support here: https://bose.life/2Xll2Lo. We will be more than happy to help!

Dock not needed or worth the extra money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The power cord does not stay connected. The idea behind it is ok, but in all actuality, the power cord can simply plug into the back of the speaker itself to charge and has no connection issues.

Waste of money. Do not buy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worthless. My revolve has charging issues and the recommendation from bose is to not use the charging dock. So instead of being a covienient way to charge the speaker, it's a complete waste of money.

useless bose charging cradle
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is no power cord to charge this charging cradle making it useless unless you include one, buy one or reuse the power cord from an old charging cradle.

Must Have
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are dropping this much on a speaker, an extra bit for the cradle is a must. My only fear with the speaker was the micro-USB jack, I have a bad habit of breaking them. With the cradle, charging wirelessly is much easier. the only drawback with the cradle is the lack of guidance. With many smart watches, magnets will steer you to the proper placement for charging. Usually this works 90% of the time for the watches. With the charging Revolve+ cradle, there is no magnetic guidance. However, the way it is designed will line you up quite accurately. There is a raised section around the cradle that fits into a groove on the bottom of the speaker. As long as you pay attention, you can easily line it up. The only problem, if you are in a rush you might put it on misaligned and the speaker will tip over and fall off the cradle. Very minor issue, not enough to dock a star because this is an absolute must have with the speaker.

BOSE ROCKS
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BOSE Soundlink charging cradle rocks. This cradle is used in conjunction with the Bose Soundlink Revolve + speaker, which incidentally has absolutely amazing sound reproduction capabilities. Pairing with my IPhone was quick and flawless. It took all of 3 seconds to complete the process. You can either leave the speaker directly on-top of the cradle to play your favorite tunes, or move just the speaker anywhere your choose. Having the capability to charge your speaker and then taking it with you minus the wires is fantastic! SUPER NICE. Look no further, as Bose will make you happy.

waste of money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only available in black. Doesn't come with its own cable. Connector is flimsy. To attach speaker to the base, you must align it perfectly so it's inconvenient. Don't buy it !!!

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the money, I thought it brought the wall charger and cord. It's for lazy people. I'd rather just plug it in whenever I need to charge

Waste of cash

Usable, but not needed.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The charging cradle is an interesting specimen. It is basically a charging port for your Soundlink Revolve, so that you don't have to struggle with plugging in a wire to charge. Instead, you can just plop your Revolve onto it, and it will start charging. You can still use your speaker while charging, which is nice. I would have liked to see it come with an extra wire/adapter, but it is what it is. So then comes the question of: Should you buy this charging cradle? Only if you care about the asthetics of where you charge your speaker, and/or hate having to plug in a wire every time. For me personally, it was not particularily useful.

A “convenience” item...But one worth getting
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is going to be about as simple a review as one could do…as the product, itself, is extremely simple. The Bose SoundLink Revolve Charging Cradle is……….a charging cradle for the just-released Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker. You can use the Revolve Bluetooth Speaker without purchasing the Revolve Charging Cradle, but you certainly wouldn’t buy the Charging Cradle without purchasing/owning the Revolve Bluetooth Speaker. Why? It would be akin to purchasing accessories for a car that you don’t own, and don’t intend to buy. Simply put, if you’re going to purchase the Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker (or already own one), then you WILL want the Revolve Charging Cradle. Yes, you can use the Revolve Bluetooth speaker without the charging cradle, but you will have to physically plug the microUSB cord into the speaker every time you need to charge it, and physically unplug it every time you want to take the speaker “on the go”. With the charging cradle, on the other hand, you keep the charging cord plugged into the cradle, never having to plug/unplug. To charge the Revolve speaker, just place the speaker on the cradle…and when you’re ready to take it with you, just lift it off the cradle. I realize this is, in essence, nothing more than a convenience thing…but, sometimes, “convenience” is what’s best. For example, there’s very little difference between the Bose Revolve Charging Cradle, and your typical wireless charging pad/cradle for cell phones (if you don’t count the four small metal contact points on the Bose charging cradle), but, when it comes to the cellphones my wife & I have, just placing them on one of our three wireless charging stands saves time…and, more importantly, when a call comes in, and you need to grab the phone quickly in order to answer it, being able to grab it without having to unplug it saves a lot of time (not to mention not missing calls because you couldn’t unplug & answer in time). Likewise, when you’re getting ready for your family picnic, day at the beach, or wherever else you might want to take your Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker, wouldn’t you prefer to “grab & go”, as opposed to having to unplug it? Do I recommend getting the charging cradle? Do bananas grow on trees? (HINT: the answer is the same for both questions) Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.

Looks Nice but ends there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst Bose product I have ever used. It looks nice and feels sturdy but sadly it ends there. The power plug that goes into the base easily comes loose. If you don't touch the charger or base and don't move it at all so that the chord is never touched, the base will charge your speaker. If you bump the wire, it will come loose. There is no lock, no closing mechanism, nothing. It's just an input into the base of the charger. This would be fine if it held it in place but it's so cumbersome to see and insert and then flip the base back over all the while hoping the chord doesn’t come loose again. I’d expect this kind of design from a $1 knockoff item but from Bose, wow, just wrong on their part. I paid $300 for a great speaker but at that price I’d hope Bose would back it up with a cradle that compliments the speaker, not insults it. I was annoyed I had to buy this in addition to the speaker but thought, it’s Bose, the quality will be there – wrong wrong wrong. If you don’t mind plugging your speaker in from time to time (which you’ll be doing with this cradle anyway) I recommend saving your money until Bose comes out with a revised model that does what it’s advertised to do. Purchasing this product, I feel scammed.
