This charging cradle works with Revolve and Revolve+ speakers, but I used it with the Bose Soundlink Revolve speaker. The speaker simply sits on the cradle to charge, and the cradle makes for a stable, low-profile base. It charged my speaker within a couple hours, and that charge would last about 10 hours. It is important to note that a speaker remains fully functional for playback or phone features while it is charging on this cradle. This is an excellent feature, and it isn't always the case with lesser portable speakers. I find this accessory to be a must-have if you are purchasing a Bose Soundlink Revolve speaker.

The charging dock for the Bose Revolve + works exactly like its supposed to. Its simple and effective and allows me to just place the speaker on the cradle and charge it while I play music in my home. Then when I'm ready to take the speaker with me I simply lift it off the cradle with the handle. The dock does a good job of holding the speaker in place and doesn't seem to move at all even when the speaker is blasting music throughout the room. I would definitely recommend this to be purchased along with the Revolve speakers, just for the simplicity of not having to worry about plugging or unplugging the speaker.

I received a pre-release review unit under the Best Buy Tech Insider program along with the Bose Soundlink Revolve bluetooth speaker. As far as I can tell, this base only supports the Revolve and Revolve+ speakers. The package contains only the charging base - there's no USB cable in the box. That's because the USB charger and cable are given with the speaker. Fortunately it’s a standard mini-USB, so no trouble there. The base charges the speaker through 4 flexible metal pins - the base of the speaker contains the contact pads. This makes the connection super easy, and there's a recessed guide-like portion to make the orientation/placement very quick and hassle-free. What I most liked about the base that if you are always on the move with your Revolve speaker, you can just put it back on the base for juice it up for the next day. Also, the speaker can still play audio while charging - all the more reason to get this base. If you have already opted to get the Soundlink Revolve/Revolve+ speaker, get this base too.

When I received my new Bose Revolve+ from Best Buy, I wasn't sure about the performance compared to our existing Bose Sound Docks. But I am absolutely blown away by the sound quality, clarity, and the bass it puts out. It is really nice to also have a separate docking charger for the unit itself. Really makes my life simpler as I use it frequently. I take it with me everywhere, kitchen, office, etc. If you get the Revolve+, definitely invest in the charging dock too. It's worth it.

This charging cradle is meant to be used with the Bose Revolve or Revolve+. Make sure you have the right product! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a sleek and simple way to charge your Revolve without the hassle of dealing with cables. The cradle looks great. It has a great matte finish and super slim, low profile. It can be integrated into any room/area without looking like an eye-sore. It functions so well and simple. All you need to do is place the speaker on top of the cradle! No locking/unlocking or buttons to fiddle with. Drop on and pick up off. it has a ring the fits in to the Revolve speaker to help with stability. It should be noted that there is no locking mechanism. If you are concern about children or pets knocking the speaker off the cradle, this might not be useful to you. Charges very quickly. Can get from low to full charge within a few hours. My biggest problem with this product: they don't include an additional wall-charger. You are expected to use the charger from the revolve speaker. Normally this is not an issue, but I expect a little more from Bose. This would give users the flexibility to have multiple chargers. In addition, this is a charging unit. Meaning the charger should be included! To be clear, you can still use this product right out of the box with the equipment included with your Revolve/Revolve+. Is this a great product? Yes! Would I recommend? Yes! Is this a necessity? No. Most people who can afford to purchase Bose, recognize the quality and level of product they are buying. If you want to add something nice and functional, buy this! It is not a necessity. The biggest thing you are gaining is the few extra seconds it would take to plug the speaker in to a charging cable versus dropping it drown. However, I love the look of this device and its quite functionally useful. Great product, great buy.

With all the devices we have today, charging them now is becoming a task where any efforts to help ease this burden are very welcome in my book! The charging cradle for the Bose Revolve+ speaker that I have is an incredibly convenient way to drop and charge without having to worry about snaking any wire through and connecting the USB connection in. Having this extra convenience makes it that much more likely that whenever I pick up my speaker to use it elsewhere, I know that it'll be fully charged and ready to go. All you have to do is place it down on the cradle when you're ready to recharge. I would have given this a perfect rating, but I did find a few times where I went to place the speaker down and could not align the grooves up as quickly as I would have liked. Regardless, it is way quicker and way easier to do this than to plug/unplug. I highly recommend having this unit to accompany your speaker. It just makes life a heck of a lot easier in a world where you're tasked with charging so many devices!

I received this product in exchange for a review. I have been able to use this charging cradle along with the Revolve+ Bluetooth speaker. I have found this charger to be very easy to use and convenient. It’s easy to keep your speaker charged by storing it on the cradle when not in use. The actual charging mechanism is a group of raised metal contacts that touch 4 metal dots on the bottom of the speaker. The bottom of the speaker has a U-shaped groove that matches up with a correspondingly shaped raised piece on the cradle. This allows you to feel when the speaker is seated on the charger. The whole process is much simpler than fishing around for a micro-USB cable and trying to align it with the charging port on the back of the speaker, which can still be used in the absence of the charging cradle. If you’re planning on investing in the Revolve or Revolve+, I recommend including this charger with your purchase.

Simply.... It's a great wireless charger with a very satisfying click when you turn the speaker on it's surface with only one small gripe that seems to happen a lot. No extra cable provided by Bose. Extended... When you open this box up what you see on the outside is definitely what you get on the inside. Meaning you get the flat wireless charger, no cables, no wall bricks just the unit. TADA! The nice aspect is it's very well built with a metal feeling build and some weight to it. The speaker ,of course designed for it, fits beautifully on it and makes it very simple to place on top and never go fumbling for cables again which is also aesthetically pleasing. Do I think this is a nice charger and everyone should get it yes! Do I wish that for the money an extra charger is the least they could have done.... Also yes! Thanks and I hope this review helped you.

I go back and forth about if I like this cradle. The biggest thing I struggle with is, is it really necessary?? Because technically it is not, the lower back of the revolve+ speaker has a micro usb port and it charges just fine through that. But at the same time, the cradle is much easier because when I want to grab the speaker and take it somewhere, all I do it grab it and go. The micro usb port on the back of the speaker is a very tight fit and it takes a bit of time(I'm careful with it) to unplug it and then go. Basically the cradle is not necessary to have but it is just one of those things that makes life a tiny bit easier and cooler. My only disappointment with the cradle is how short of a micro usb cord it comes with, I had to rearrange my office area a bit to get this cradle close enough to a outlet. Otherwise this is a convenient and stylish gadget to have.

Must have if you get the Revolve speaker

I opened the charge cradle first and I should have opened it last. The box contains the cradle and instructions. The instructions show the USB cable and a 110 adapter, but they aren't included in the box. I checked to see if I had missed it, but no, it's not there. Finally it dawns on me that it must be in the speaker box. I opened that box and after unpacking the entire contents, I find what I'm looking for....RELIEF So that said, the thing does just what you want it to, it charges the unit. I placed it on the cradle and there it sat, charging away as I played 7 chapters of an audiobook from my phone. I wish I could say more, but that's really all there is to this thing. If you get the speaker, get the cradle. That way you can just leave it there to charge and you don't have to fight with the cable every time you need to charge the speaker. It's always ready when you are.

Bose Revolve Bluetooth Speaker Charging Cradle This accessory pairs nicely with the speaker, and makes it a little easier to keep the speaker topped off. I take the portable speaker from room to room with me (office, bedroom, den) and keep the cradle in the office where i use the speaker the most. Very convenient as all you do is put the speaker on the cradle with the contact points aligned and the charging starts right away. Very quick and easy. Speaker has a charging port for standard mini-USB plug from computer or outlet, so you can get by without the cradle, but I believe you will be glad you spent a little more to get the best convenience from the excellent Bose speaker.

I have this cradle to accompany my Bose Revolve+ speaker and it works about as well as you'd expect. It has a semi-circle plastic raised guide which helps you guide the speaker into proper position, which works wells. It handles charging via a few metal contacts, which makes it very easy to place and remove. One plus is that the unit also appears to continue to charge even when in use on the cradle (which seems to be an issue for a lot of bluetooth speakers; they can't charge and play at the same time). The main question is whether this convenience is worth the price. Overall, it's nice to have a place to set the speaker down and charge with little effort.

This charging cradle is pretty much a no brainer. It makes charging so much easier due to the fact that all you need to do is simply set the bose revolve on top of it. Charging speed on a dead battery took about an hour which was not bad at all. The dock looks similar to Samsungs quick charge where you simply place your phone over the pad and it charges, however that is not the case with the bose dock. It actually has gold platted tabs on both the dock and bose speaker that need to mate. Mating is done very easily and there were never any charging issues. Half the time i just threw it on there and it always mated perfectly.

The Bose SoundLink Revolve charging cradle is a nice, but not necessary addition to the Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth speaker. While it's not necessary for the operation of the speaker, it does provide a convenient way to charge the speaker. Simply place the speaker on top of the round unit, making sure to align the metal contacts on the bottom of the speaker to the contacts on top of the charging base. Personally, I'm fine simply using the cable to charge the speaker, but if you want the ability to quickly lift and go with the speaker, than this charging base will allow that to happen.

It's a charger and it's a cradle. It does both very well. It uses the charge cord and power adapter that comes with the Revolve speaker system. Bose's customary craftsmanship and attention to detail shows on the design and construction of this premium item. The Revolve+ has a hefty weight to it. The grooves on this charging cradle and the bottom of the Revolve speakers make sure it fits just the right way to connect the charger plates on each. You can use all the features of the speaker while it is charging on the cradle.

Far too expensive for what it does. It's a glorified micro USB extension cord. While that could be said about charging cradles for phones and other devices, you likely get far more use out of those. I use my phone's wireless charging pad every day. And it means I don't have to fish the charging cable out from behind the dresser or nightstand every day. How often do you charge a Revolve? The Revolve already has very good battery life. So unless you're listening to it 8 hrs / day or more, you likely only need to charge it once a week. Perhaps only once or twice a month. Not only that, but my wireless phone charger can be used for any Qi compatible device. The Revolve dock converts the micro USB to its own proprietary 4-pin grid. It's useless for anything except a Revolve ( unless Bose decides to use it for future speakers as well ). Is that worth $30 for its own dedicated charging space on your countertop? For me, no.

This charging cradle is the optional charging base for the Bose Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker. You still need the speaker. The cradle has a connection (magnet I think) between the 2 devices. Was not the easiest to put the 2 together. I do not think this is an extra battery, just a dock. It does help to stabilize the speaker. Make sure to use the plug included to charge your speaker. I do like having a more permanent place to keep my speaker and can charge the speaker when ever I need it.
