The Bose Soundlink Revolve speaker fits nicely into the optional charging cradle and is convenient for grab and go sound but is not necessary for operation of the speaker itself. Honestly I think the charging cradle should've came with the speaker and not separate because as far as I know it doesn't serve any other purpose.

It's a small disc that charges the Revolve. It doesn't come with it's own power source. You'll have to have the power adapter that comes with the revolve. It makes charging a breeze, but I certainly hope it doesn't cost a lot extra. I feel like this is something that should have just been packaged with the revolve already. If you don't have this you will have to take the time to plug in the micro usb connector. This just enables you to easily place the revolve on it for charging.

Not much you can say about a charger, (well, really a cradle) although this one is somewhat unique. The Revolve+ unit nestles nicely into it, and it charges quickly. The reason for only 4 stars? You need to use the cable that comes in the Revolve package. One would think that at this price point, they could put in a cable to make it complete package. Especially since this is for a mobile speaker, would be nice to leave one at home lest it gets left behind in your travels.

This charging cradle is a neat little bonus for the Bose speaker. The charging cord can be plugged directly into the speaker but putting the speaker on the charging cradle ensures better stability. It's especially useful if you're using the speaker and adjusting volume, but you accidentally hit the side of the speaker instead - which I found out firsthand! I'm glad that I have the cradle instead of just the cord.

This is a great add-on to the new Bose speaker. You can plug the charger (that comes with the speaker) into this and then forget about it. The speaker has charging contacts on the bottom that link up when the speaker magnetically snaps into place. You only have to make sure you have the speaker facing in the right general direction which is pretty obvious. The speaker plays some tones each time you set it in place or remove it from the charger. The battery indicator on top of the speaker also lets you know at a glance if you're charging or fully charged. Even though I don't plan to move the speaker around a lot and run on battery, it's still nice having the charging cradle for those occasional times I want to move it. Also, I've noticed that the speaker stays on and connected to my phone's bluetooth indefinitely while it's on the charging cradle. My older portable Bose speaker would go to sleep eventually even when it was on a/c power, and I always found that to be a little annoying. If I do want to have it go to sleep eventually (like listening to music before going to sleep), then I just take it off the cradle so it's on battery. Then, in the morning I can set it back on the cradle to charge up. While not absolutely necessary to have one of these for your Revolve, I don't think you would regret the purchase.

The charging cradle for the Bose Soundlink Revolve is a nice addition to an already great product. Makes charging your speaker as easy as setting it down on the base. And the speaker works while charging, to boot. My only issue is that it doesn't include an AC adapter of its own, so you have to use the adapter that came with the speaker.

Proprietary charging pad for revolve plus speaker. Really thin barely noticeable when the speaker sits on it. Same dark color. Uses the USB charging cable and power plug from the speaker. Nice accessory to have but it's quite easy to plug the power cable in the speaker to charge, but it makes it easy to just grab the speaker off of it and go.

This charger only works with the Bose Soundlink Revolve+ bluetooth speaker. It charges it quickly. I took off one star because the speaker only fits on it one way; there's a little 4-pin connector that needs to line up. Would be better if it charged inductively like many newer cell phones.

This Bose charging cradle is a sleek thin design and compliments the speaker as a base besides just being a charger. When new straight from the box, it only took 4-5 hours to charge the speaker that went with it. I like it! It has a modern look and does not take up any room at all.

Pairing this with the Revolve+ is a great way to appreciate the Bluetooth speaker even more. Keep the base plugged in and just set the speaker on top. You can also use the speaker while it's in the doc or just grab the speaker and go. If you get the speaker definitely get the cradle!

This charging cradle holds the Bose revolve speaker, the speaker fits easily into the cradle, but there aren't any cables or plug included with this, they come with the speaker & are used together. You can keep your speaker charged all the time & also play music while charging.

I love this add on you can get for your device. I hate managing cords and finding one to charge any device. With this you can leave it plugged in and when you return from the beach or party with your speaker just plunk it down and the rest is taken care of for you. AWESSOME

I used this to charge a Bose Resolve and it worked perfect. I was initially concerned by the cable management on the bottom as the track didn't hold the cable taut, but it worked perfectly as the weight of the cradle and speaker didn't allow it to move. I actually prefer this setup over some of the other "tracks" which put undue strain on the cable. Setting the Revolve on the cradle worked perfect. It didn't require exactly placement - a close enough method would suffice. Once the Revolve was in place, charging started immediately. There isn't really much more to say. I think Bose should include this instead of charging additional, but we, as consumers, are always willing to pay additional for convenience. The Charging Cradle for the Revolve is really nice to have around. I like that I can easily and quickly charge my speaker on the cradle. I do wish that it would come with at least an extra cable charging cable, but it is still great.

The Bose speaker will stand on its own. This piece however, adds a certain awesomeness to the presentation of the speaker. I personally feel safer with it on the stand just for balance purposes.

Must have accessory for the Soundlink Revolve +. Keeps the speaker charged so you no longer need to worry about finding an outlet when outside. Holds the speaker securely without being bulky.

This cradle makes the Revolve much easier to charge. No longer have to plug in as it just rests on the cradle. Probably should have come with the product.

I like how you can just place the speaker on the cradle without having to screw it down or plug in anything. Just set the speaker on the cradle and you're good to go.

A must have for $30 and it makes it very convenient to charge device!

A must have add on for the Bose Soundlink. Makes charging (and long term use) a breeze. Just plug in the wire and you have a solid base for the speaker
