Great sound, sporadic bluetooth connection

I use it with my MacBook Air. When the Bluetooth connects, it is great. However, more than 50% of the time I cannot get the Bluetooth to connect to the computer, thus having to depend on the computer speaker (which I wanted to avoid). Disappointed because, with a brand like Bose, I expected superlative performance.

Connecting via bluetooth is a simple one step process, connections are automatic after the first time. I get I shouldn't have expect much given the unit's size, but it's a Bose and wasn't cheap, so I expected a bit more.

The battery will show to be fully charged but will shut off like it is not charged. After plugging the a/c cord in it will work. It will also randomly drop the bluetooth connection. Sometimes resetting the connection will fix the problem, sometimes it won't.
