Great sound quality, even with iphone and unit volume at max. Creates sonic illusion of much larger speaker. Surprisingly good compared to its bigger brother SoundLink. We also have a Philips Fidelio BT speaker the size of a small boombox, but the Bose connects better and sounds cleaner at volume. Better than Jawbone's offering, and around the same we paid for the Philips.

Read the reviews... did the comparisons... spent time in the local Best Buy and listened... and came to the conclusion that the price point met the need for quality. The only real comparison for this type of product is the JVC unit. The richness of the sound created by the Bose was just superior - plain and simple. My primary desire is to have a device that I can use while grilling and entertaining outdoors. A quick "smoke test" yesterday confirmed that my backyard will be a transformed entertainment locale next summer. You will NOT be disappointed in this speaker!

I own the original Bose SoundLink, but was dragging it back and forth from the office to the house. So I decided to order the SoundLink Mini to leave at work, and the bigger one at home. Well do not let its small size lead you to believe the sound is small, it is awesome! It sounds as good as the original, and packs a punch for as small as it is. It's going to be perfect for my desk. Nothing beats Bose for quality & sound.

Surprised. At 7" wide by 2" tall and 2" deep this thing puts out decent sound. I was skeptical due to its size. I purchased the SoundLink Ver 2 from another retailer a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't completely satisfied with the sound. I mix bands for a living so sound is important to me. This isn't going to rumble and and rattle your walls but for chillaxin, easy listening and medium levels this was "All Right!!" I had to test the units side by side so i A & B'd both units with different genres of music and levels. Each had its + and - to my ears but the lil guy just sounded better to me. In Sound you'll hear the words "musical" used. Mini just fit my definition of musical, in a small compact, single soundscape and price. SoundLink Ver 2 produced allot more mids and the hi's sounded muffled depending on your listening position. With my current test results I will be returning the Bose SoundLink Ver 2. I have a Cambridge Audio Minx Go due to be delivered tomorrow. Again I will A & B test. I dunno, I have read real good things about this Cambridge but I like the size of this mini. I may keep both. If your looking for something small and sounds pretty good then stop looking. Best Buy and Bose I will take my $50.00 discount now for this review.

The bluetooth feature works so well and easily...even for kids. Its portability makes is so useful, for the car, work, or home. Love it!

This speaker is the best thing for the price!!! It is very small but it is so loud!! I'm am totally satisfied with this speaker!

You are not going to believe what is my primary use for this speaker .. Music on a waverunner ( jetski) ... I incorporate this speaker to the glove compartment in my PWC and the sound is incredible , even when Im on the sandbar with hundreds of boats paying music around Im able to listen mine without troubles , considering the size of the speaker . 99% of the use is outdoor and even sometime I have to down the volume cause is too loud . The sound quality is great even at the top volume The bass is great for a speaker this size , Battery life is about 7-8 hours No it is not waterproof , so taking care of not get it wet is my only concern Only complain is the lack of connections other than wireless , A remote control would be a nice addition too .. I would recommended to any1

This device is ready to go in seconds of pulling it out of the box. It has some weight to it which I particularly like which gives the impression of a product well built. It's not light enough to be easily knocked off of a surface. When in use the Bose Soundlike Mini delivers impressive bass tones for it's small size. The bluetooth range is powerful enough that it reaches further than the audio you can hear when played at full volume. It picks up audio from your device as far as 30 ft without distortion. The rubber battery cover underneath also helps in keeping it firmly set on whatever surface it's placed on. This device also features a replaceable battery. The silver housing is finger and scratch proof with a dull shine. I can already foresee this being used by me on a daily basis.

This product is amazing. Tiny player with amazing sound! I love the fact that it is rechargable so that my wife can use it in the house and i can use it in the garage. You've probably eaten sandwiches bigger than this thing.

After trying out the logitech UE Boom for a couple weeks, i decided i didnt like out empty or tinny the sound was. I went in and traded in for this bose mini and all i can say is WOW. The sound is full, the bass is there, and its amazing, best speaker ive ever bought. I do wish it came with a remote or even one you could buy to adjust the settings, or even an app for your device to control it.

I use it with my Laptop while at home. It has great sound quality. Plus it's bluetooth enabled. I definitely recommend it.

I first had my eyes on the Dr. Dre wireless speaker that I thought had quality sound until a Best Buy associate told me about the Bose wireless speaker. She said that for the same price you get better sound and quality. She saw I was skeptical, so she had me link my phone to the Bose speaker and I was blown away. I bought the speaker right on the spot. There was no comparison and when I took it with me to vist family they were also blown away.

I was looking for a good portable speaker and was not sure if I should get the Bose Soundlink mini or the Bose Soundlink II. I went to a local best buy and tried them both, I liked the Bose Soundlink mini much better. I was concerned about the price but it is worth every penny, I've had a few friends over and they liked it so much they are planning to buy one too.

This was a great buy. It is easy to synch to iPhones and iPads via BlueTooth. The sound is very good. This thing is small and sounds big. It would great as a PC speaker also. I really am very impressed with this. And look at all the other 5 star reviews...

This speaker lives up to the reviews and is a great travel size. It more than fills a room with warm clean sound. Friends are amazed at its powerful punch in such a dininuative size. The unit is solid and well constructed. I wish it had a battery level indicator for convenance. Bottom line, Mini is a fantastic product!

I recently bought these speakers and I am very pleased with them! They are absolutely amazing! I love how I can just quickly grab it and move it wherever I want. If you are looking for a portable and small but powerful speaker, look no further!

I've tested several different speakers that are similar to the bose soundlink mini but none of them have the bass that this speaker has. JBL, Beats pill, logitech ue boom, jabra solemate, and Jawbone just aren't as good compared to the bose soundlink mini. I use this speaker everyday and I am glad I chose this over all the other portable bluetooth speakers. Excellent speaker and the best aspect of all is that this is the only speaker that has a user replaceable battery which you can purchase from bose. None of the speakers in the market today have this feature which will leave you with a very heavy paperweight once the battery dies out. Get this speaker, you won't regret it.

I bought the Beats by Dre Pill a day ago, got it home, and it is going back. What a horrible speaker. We have Bose headphones and thought I would give this a try also. WOW! It looks great, has a great build quality, and sounds even better. This is going to be my go to speaker. I love my Klipsch surround sound system, but this little speaker sounds great! Keep up the good work Bose.

Absolutely love it pairs quickly long battery life for hours of great sound

I bought the UE Boom today and wanted to like it so bad. I really liked the boom's design and durability. But, in no time I realized I would never be happy with the sound quality. Just to high/crisp sounding. So, I took it back and got the bose soundlink mini. No comparison! This is a joy to listen to. I was worried about taking the mini in the golf cart or to the beach, so I bought the case and it seems to offer a good amount of protection. So glad I switched to the bose!
