Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

Being a fan of the Bose product line, these are definitely wireless free headphones I had to check out.
The sound quality is exactly what you'd expect from Bose. You get rich audio with depth. Honestly, these sound really good!
Another positive point, is it the battery life seems to last longer than I'd expected. I can go a full day, sometimes two or three depending on use, and not have to recharge the headphones. when charged, the case seemed to provide at least one full recharge for the headphones.
I did run into some issues with the audio dropping from one of the headphone sides. Also, when taking calls, it only comes in on the right headphone. Perhaps this is a safety feature, but it feels really weird to have only a single side with audio. That's definitely not immersive. I would have expected more from those on this matter.
Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the product. There are a couple little oddities, but nothing that severely hampers the usability or enjoyability of these headphones.
Pros:
- Good battery life
- Exceptional sound quality (though you shouldn't expect any less than this from Bose)
Cons:
- occasional disconnection from mobile device audio
- compared to other headphones the design is massive.

After trying several pairs of sport-oriented headphones, I've finally found "the one" - The Bose SoundSport Free headphones are my go-to pair of headphones for running and workouts.
PROS:
- Comfortable, lightweight, and secure fit. Three sizes of ear tips included. They have never fallen out during runs or workouts and I hardly notice them in my ears.
- Excellent, balanced sound with just the right amount of bass. If you enjoy the audio quality of any other Bose product, you'll feel right at home with these.
- Long battery life - over 15 hours when you include the charging case.
- Great Bluetooth range. I can set my phone on one side of the gym, move 30 feet away to the other side, and never lose connection. I've read other reviews of users reporting drop-outs in the left ear bud, but that has never happened to me.
- First-rate customer service and support from Bose. They have released several firmware updates for these headphones in the past few months that have only made them better.
CONS:
- There is a slight audio delay when watching video on your phone or tablet. However, I use these headphones for workouts, not to watch movies and YouTube videos, so it's not a problem for me.
- When taking phone calls, audio only comes through the right ear bud. A minor annoyance, but again - I'm not spending much time on the phone during workouts.
Highly recommended!

The sound quality is great. I didn't measure the time they lasted but I believe Bose when they say 5hrs on a charge. The charging case is compact and they pair with my phone as soon as I pull them out. The only thing I dislike is it takes a few seconds for the sound to work properly sometimes. Anywhere for 10 to 30 seconds it will sound like it just cuts out. This is the only Bluetooth thing I use right now so I can't say if it's my phone or the earbuds. I own about a dozen Bluetooth headphones in all different sizes. These are definitely the best small earbuds I've used.

I bought these for my husband, he absolutely loves them! They stay charged for a long period of time, very good at blocking out background noise, and fits well in the ears to stay in! The only downfall we wish the charging cord for the case was much longer then what is provided. But one of the best sets of earbuds he has ever owned he said, now I will be getting a set for myself!

The Bose SoundSport Wireless Free are the latest in the sport earbuds from Bose and the first completely wire free. The left and right earbuds work as a pair but without any wires tethering them together. This can be great for those who have problems with the short wire between traditional sport earbuds snagging and pulling them out of the ear. Battery life feels shorter than others at just 5 hours but with the included charging case you have up to 15 hours of use. The case is the only way to charge them and serves as the standard way to turn them on and off. The moment you remove them from the case they turn on and will be ready to use. If left on they will turn off to save battery but the recommended way to turn them off is to place them back in the case. This is most certainly a good idea considering how easily the earbuds could be lost.
The SoundSport Wireless Free are larger than normal Bluetooth earbuds because each earpiece needs to house everything it needs within the small casing and it shows. Traditional earbuds could be easily overlooked but the SoundSport Wireless Free looks like you are wearing two old fashion Bluetooth earpieces that were all the rage several years ago. Not much can be done about this so if you are wanting truly wire fee, this cosmetic issue must be accepted first. About the only people who could wear them unnoticed are those will long hair. With as large as they are you would think that they would be very heavy, but they feel surprisingly light during use. You can feel the weight but they feel secure even with rapid head movement.
The earbuds are secured in the ear with what Bose calls StayHear+ tips. They are uniquely different from other earbuds tips and only come in three sizes of the same style. For now, this means replacement tips won’t be as easy as buying a universal set from your local electronics store. It also means if you must have noise isolating earbuds you will have to look elsewhere. If you like earbuds to allow ambient sounds for safety, these work great. You can easily hold a conversation while wearing them without yelling. They stay secure by hooking behind the cartilage of your ear so, unlike others, a secure fit doesn’t mean jamming the tip tighter in the ear or wrapping a wire around your ear. This method works well, although some might feel some slight discomfort during extended use. Controls for music, volume, and voice controls via your phone assistant are all on the right earbud. There is a distinct difference between each section making finding the right control by feel easy. Using the controls is a little imprecise as the buttons are quite hard to press. Sometimes when pressing you may tend to initially pull the earbud slightly out of the ear. This creates an adjustment period on becoming accustomed to using the controls. Hopefully with repeated use the buttons will break in. After a couple of days of use, pressure required decreased slightly and control felt easier.
Sound quality is something you expect to be great coming from Bose and with the SoundSport Wireless Free they do not disappoint. The most important part of great sound with compact wireless sport headsets where failure is common is keeping a solid connection. Bose claims to maintain a reliable wireless connection with a special antenna design and it seems they have achieved what they claim. A connection to the phone could be maintained walking into the next room of the house while leaving the cell phone in place. Another, more important, test is cross body signal strength. It seems that no matter where the phone was kept on the body, the earbuds kept a strong signal with no dropouts. Bose does not list if they incorporate Bluetooth 5.0 to handle higher quality sound. If they do not, they have done quite well with the limitations of traditional Bluetooth. Bose incorporates what they call a volume-optimized EQ. Whatever the techniques they use they seem to work quite well as sound was very well balanced throughout the range. Unfortunately, if you like to customize the sound to your likely there are no such controls unless your device offers an EQ. If any criticism could be leveled at the automatic EQ is that highs, such as vocals, could be just slightly higher. This is more of a personal preference though. For most, this will not likely be a problem as the default setting does quite well.
Of course, any earbuds today will include the ability to place and take calls. Accepting calls is a matter of pressing the play button. You can place a call by pressing and holding down the play button to launch your phone’s assistant. Depending on the assistant of your phone you may have other functionality as controlling music as well as reading and responding to texts. Call quality is not usually a strong point of sport earbuds simply because the microphone is so far away from the mouth. As with others, callers reported I sounded farther away as if I was on a speakerphone. However; generally people reported I sounded closer or clearer than on other sport earbuds used in the past.
Durability is an important area for sport earbuds. The SoundSport Wireless Free are IPX4 which means they are sweat and what they call weather resistant. This isn’t the highest rating in sport headphones and some car with water should be taken. A run in the rain is probably not a good idea nor is washing them off under the faucet. This seems to be a side effect of higher sound quality earbuds as other high-end earbuds often have a similarly limitation. Listed within the information is a warning. The IPX4 rating is expected to decrease with age.
Overall, the Bose SoundSport Wireless Free earbuds are a solid first time offering from Bose. Although long term durability is hard to gauge, they feel very well made and as though they will last. Use is about as hassle free as you can get allowing you to enjoy using them and the sound they produce. Hopefully as Bose continues to evolve the design the cons will be improved or even eliminated. Even with the cons, there is no reason to avoid enjoying great sound to help keep you motivated during your workout.

I bought these since I always get my wired headphones tangled up or caught on something causing them to malfunction on me. They have a little girth to them yes and they protrude out your ear very visibly, but I don't mind it. The case/charger takes roughly 2 to 3 hours to charge completely and the ear buds themselves depending on single use and/or dual use can range from an hour and a half to 2. When fully charged and having both buds on you get an approximate cap of 7 1/2 to 8 hours of tunes depending on how high you have them volume wise. The higher the volume the quicker the battery life drains. If you don't have your phone or music source on you while you are about... The max distance before cut out is 30 to 32 feet. Lastly when putting these on warranty the charger is the only thing that's covered under Bose. The ear buds aren't covered. I registered on the site and the case was all I could put on warranty. I thought it was all three pieces, but no. Other than that they are a good set of headphones for whatever you need with three gel grips for the perfect ear fit and I recommend them.

No complaints at all. Great sound. Battery life is great. Work 12 hour shifts in the oilfield. Stay's put in my ear and with the case to charge them. Keeps going until I get home. Couple things to know is that you cannot use them if you don't have the right earpiece. Always only can hear your phone calls in the right ear. If you take care of your things. I definitely recommend these!

This was my first ever set of truly wireless. I bought these on black Friday. At first these were not very loud and anything above mid-range was not very clear. Over time, the sound had gotten better and slightly louder. So maybe there's a break-in period, idk. You probably will not see a full 5hr playtime on one charge as it claims if you're playing at full volume. It's nice having the buds magnetic so the case pulls them in when you place them in it. I really like the rubber tips. They will not come out of your ear no matter how much you shake your head. Just take the time to find the right size tips for your ears. I suggest trying all 3 sizes to see what works for you. Once you find the size that gives you a good seal, the sound is better overall. These probably block about 75% of outside noise. Overall I'm happy with them. But Bose REALLY needs to include an EQ in their app. Being able to fine tune the sound would make these perfect for me. FYI, using the Spotify EQ on your phone will reduce volume about 25%.

Love these buds. They fit well. Sounds great, and battery life is awesome. I had AirPods, but they weren't very secure in my ears, These have great security with the silicone ear pieces that secure them in my ear. The AirPods are nice for casual use, but these guys are for all around listening. They are loud and have a full sound.

I’ve had and been using these for 6 weeks now. I never write reviews FYI but considering the less convenient price tag, and that making a good decision when investing in new headphones can be daunting, I want to confidently add to the positive reviews of this to help consumers be more confident in this purchase. I've owned $100 Bluetooth headphones in the past that were attached to each other by a short chord behind my neck. << They would not stay in my ears and it was ultimately a waste of $$ because they just collect dust because I was too lazy to return them (like an idiot). Anyway THESE are great. There are 3 different sizes of the rubber piece that inserts in your ear. I use the smallest, they fit great. The design is very NOT confusing on how you stick it in your ear initially and then you swivel it back in your ear and the rubber essentially locks in place in your ear. Top perks:
1) They truly do not fall out. I've gone to the gym, ran, lifted (listening to music), and walk around the house while cleaning or while running errands (talking on phone or listening to podcasts) - they NEVER fall out.
2) They have a speaker for phone calls. I'm on the phone a lot for work and appreciate having use of both hands during so it's awesome, and the volume is great. Person on other end of call can always hear me fine.
3) Great BOSE sound quality:). You can max the volume on your phone and max additionally high using buttons on the earbuds.
4) a) Excellent Bluetooth in my opinion. I'll be listening to a podcast at work and then walk to break room and I'll leave my phone in my office and have accidentally forgotten to take my earbuds out and realize oh my bad I still have them in and I'll still be able to hear my podcast clearly all the way to the break room and back haha it's awesome.
b) You can be paired with multiple devices (not sure the max. I currently have paired with 3) and there's a button on the left earbud that enables you to easily click through all paired devices till you land on the one you want to connect with, just a nice convenient perk.
5. Come with a cool very durable and small easy to fit in pocket or purse case. Helps you keep track of the earbuds, plus contains like 5 battery life hours in addition to the 5 or so battery life hours that the earbuds hold, so you’re walking around with 10+ hours of battery life.
6. Apparently if several water (I guess like if it's raining) or sweat drips get on them, they will be fine.
CONS (some might call these cons but they don't bother me):
1) "Bulky size/appearance". Personally, I value quality of performance and am super pleased with performance of these so I don't even notice the size. and I’m a considerably small person!
2) Technically when on a call you can only hear the person your speaking with's voice in the RIGHT-side earbud. Kind of an awkward detail but a) the volume and clarity of their voice is still so great in the right earbud that I could care less about the left being useless. b) I prefer 1 earbud in at a time anyway (unless I'm listening to music) so I extra don't mind.
**Optional: You can spend an additional $30 for a 2 or 3-year (I forget) warranty so if you lose one or both or run over one with your car you can get it replaced for free. I went with the warranty.

I have been using these for some months now. The headsets are a bit big in size, and at first I did feel like they stuck out a lot, but after a week or so that feeling went away. The sound is amazing, and I havent had the sound drop. I use these at work, and I do move around all day, and dont have an issue with these falling out of my ears, or anything else.
The case is great, and does a great job of holding, and charging the headsets. There is an indicator in the front that can tell you if you need to charge your headset.
I have not personally had these die out so I cannot comment on how long they would last, although I have used them for several days without charging and did not have an issue.

These ear buds sound excellent! Good highs and lows.
Say charged for about 5 hours, but I find that I have them in and out of the holder more often then my LGs.. this is a personal preference instead of a need to charge them, so they last for 2 days.
They aren't so good in the high heat, sun light, they heat up and shut down, if you don't keep them covered, like a hat or bandana.
Over all my favorite so far.. can't wait for the new ones!

Used for 3 weeks. Solid 5 hour battery life when listening to music with good sound. Larger than air pods, can be an issue when trying to wipe sweat during a work out. I had the previous model with the older case but practically the same earbuds. The sound quality is excellent but the earbuds have trouble syncing sometimes, especially in the gym if there are dumbbells and metal bars around. However, the biggest weakness is the quality of the build. Just after ~1 year, the plastic buttons have been destroyed, exposing the metallic plate of the button, requiring a pen in order to press it. The left earbud, which is not the main one, runs out of battery after about 30-45 minutes. This is in addition to the fact that the left earbud does not even connect during phone calls and the quality of the right one is quite low. I would only recommend them if they were something like $100 cheaper.

The Bose wireless headphones make listening a tremendous and high quality experience. I have enjoyed listening to Bose speakers in my Tahoe since December of 2005 and now the same high performance quality is experienced with the headphones. It’s great to walk around the house and not even have to have the phone with me. They are comfort fitting and the packaging was impressive as well as the helpful getting started instructions!!!

I have to say these are AWESOME no more cord. Freedom Freedom from being tied down having the cord in the way our rubbing on you. These are light weight you can't tell that you have them in your ears. They are sleek design they are small they have great range. I'm impressed with these from the moment i put them on. i enjoy wearing them.
So for the GOOD
Sound Quality is just AWESOME they are so little but have such a big sound out of them. There really is a lot of deep bass that come from them you would think that you have a pair of over the ear headphones on.
Range of these is great i have walked all over the gym and as long as you are in line of sight they will stay connected.
The voice there is a prompt voice for when you put them on to let you know your connected and to what device and to let you know the battery life of the Bose.
Light weight these are very light i can't tell that i have them in and they are also Sweat and Water Resistant that is great to have because they are not cheap but worth the money to buy.
Charging cradle it's little and hold a long charge sleek. If you press the from latch on the cradle it will show you a light indicator that lets you know how much battery life is left i the cradle. That's cool so you don't have to plug your earbuds in to charge with the cord. Just place in the cradle and they will charge. NICE VERY NICE.
The app is cool to have let's you connect to the earbuds now it wont let you change any of the sound like if you want to hear it in a pop sound or concert hall sound. But really how many times do you change the sound on these you wont have to the sound is perfect on any kind of music.
You can take calls and give voice commands to the device.
You can fast forward pause with the earbuds
Now there was a little bad on these but nothing major...
I did have the left earbud disconnect once or twice but that was easy to reconnect not that bad.
I did have one person tell me that they heard and echo when we were on the phone so i did call other people and nobody else had the echo.
Now watching a movie with these didn't work so well it was because there was a sound delay half a second or so the mouths were off i don't know if that' because the Bose app is running this that there is a delay. But the music is great.
The only other thing is that you can wear just on of the earbuds in and charge the other the bad about that is the one you have to wear is the right one. If you put that on the charger it will disconnect and when I'm at work i can only wear one.
One other good thing about these is there is a locate my device so if you lose them you can track them with the Bose app that is cool.
I already have a friend going out this week to buy a pair they really liked them.
I don't have Bose speakers i really never looked into getting Bose but after this product i'm interested in trying the next product.
This is a but have if you need a great pair of earbuds you will be very impressed with these...ENJOY

Over all these are of great quality. I use mine to workout and they don’t slip out even when sweating. The charging case holds a great charge and they recharge rather quickly. You have the ability to just wear the right one while the left is still in the case, however you can’t do it the other way. Sound is excellent!
