Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

I received these for Christmas, and they have been awesome. I researched ahead of time and based on reviews and coworkers who have these decided that these were the way to go. Sound quality is great, battery has lasted as long as I need it, and the fit has been secure. I usually run about 3 to 5 miles and have had no issues with them falling out or feeling like they are going to fall out. The only downside, which is the case with the majority of truly wireless earbuds, is the audio lags if you're watching video. They are larger too, but it doesn't bother me. Overall I would recommend these if you're looking for some quality wireless earbuds and aren't concerned with the Martian look lol.

I have been using wired earphones for a long time, I didn't want the hassle of another device to charge and because I think have oddly shaped ears I always gravitated to the over the ear type sets. When my 3rd set of wired headphones died on m I began shopping around. After recently starting biking again, I decided to start looking at wireless sets for the convenience. I read reviews and because of holiday sales prices these came to the top of the list. I've been using them for 2 weeks now and I can say they lived up to the hype. The jelly like ear pieces that come in 3 sizes are very comfortable and who would've known that with my oddly shaped ears, I am the medium size and they fit great. The ear pieces take a bit to get used to inserting them but once you do, its a snap. The batteries last more than enough time for any workout. I have seen an issue reported where the left earpiece disconnects and has to be manually reconnected. This did happen to me, but it has only happened one time after 2 weeks of continuous daily use. It was a non-issue. I use these 2 hours a day every day, for me, these were a great purchase and well worth it.

SUMMARY AND IMPRESSIONS Bose sound quality meets the total wireless revolution. Able to connect easily between iOS and Android devices these are great for any phone owner. These headsets are sweat proof so they have been working great during my morning runs and workouts. Don't have to worry about ruining the headphones and they are easily cleaned. The sound stage is wide and the highs are crisp with powerful lows. Bose really nails the sound quality, you definitely get what you paid for with these. I can easily recommend these to anyone wanting a great workout pair of headphones. PROS/CONS + Sweatproof - Sort of big for total wireless solution + Total wireless solution + Snug fit in the ear + Case charges the phones up to 2 times. - Lack of EQ Controls if you wanted to fine-tune

I did some research and really wanted wireless headphones to take when I run. I finally ended up choosing these headphones and they are great. They have good sound but don't get too loud. I wanted to be able to still hear what's happening around me and these are great for that...but if you want a booming bass-filled workout these headphones aren't for you. They hold charge well and I love the charging case. I am so glad the app comes with the "find my buds" feature as I misplace them around the house. The only issue I have is with the buds and the replacement ones. The small size causes the buds to slip out of my ear but after 30+ min of usage my ears start to hurt. Due to this, and that they are wireless, if you are jumping around too much they will need readjustment. Those slight issues are why I am giving them a 4 out of 5 stars. Would still highly recommend.

I’m a Bose homer so my review may be bias but I love these headphones. The sound is amazing and the ear bud fit is the best in my opinion. The left to right sync between ear buds does occur but not as bad as others have reviewed. And if the phone is in your right side it rarely happens. Also I’ve noticed a slight delay on videos, but this is only on sites that have poor buffering, good sites like Netflix dont have the voice delay. Overall I’m please with these headphones and would definitely recommend.

LOVE these wireless earbuds. Great sound. Extremely comfortable to wear. Stays put in ears even when exercising w/o feeling tight & uncomfortable. Very lightweight. Waterproof. Has great feature to locate lost earbuds. I hate most earbuds because of feel & not fitting securely, but ABSOLUTELY LOVE these!

Looking for a wireless headphone. Since it is on sale, decide to give the Bose SoundSport, a real wireless, a try. Due to my wet ear nature, I wonder if the set will stay in my eye. After a couple of days’ try in trail mill, It stays in my eye. If you enjoy (like) the Bose sound quality, you should like this one. For the size of the set, I have no complain for the sound quality, The only issue I have is when make or receive phone call, only right piece has voice. Have no choice to live with it. The case (the charger) is a good design. It provides additional 10 hours before next charge besides the original 5 hours in the set. For me, it is enough for one day usage. It takes me a while to figure out how to open the case easily. Need to push hard to open. Hope Bose can make improvement on this.

I was looking for a pair of wireless bluetooth earbuds that would fit in my ears and not fall out. Apparently I have odd ears lol. These fit great, and the sound quality was nice. They come with several different attachments so they can fit more than 1 size ear. After downloading the app, they were easy to connect. They come with the charger and store in a rechargeable battery case. Pretty handy, and works great.

Just purchase these I was deciding between the Samsung wireless headphones and these ones. One thing I thought would be an issue is the fact they stick out from the ears abit but so far headphones stick in pretty good and have a good grip. I dislike the fact that only the right hand side has a mic for single use options. sound quality is great so far can not complain.

    Just Nit Picking...

4.5/5 Stars. Easily +5 Stars if Bose fixes these issues *I am upgrading from the Bose SoundSport Wireless (with the wire connecting the two ear buds). Let me start by saying that these Bose SoundSport Free Wireless fit perfect and sound awesome, as expected. The best benefit is the missing wire connecting the two buds (hence the ‘Free’ wireless) which would wiggle a little bit on the back of my neck during running/jumping and other exercise and would also be a little noticible while turning your neck such as when you are looking behind you to check for passing cars etc. Anyway, I was super excited when Bose said that they were gonna drop these truly wireless buds but for $100 more to upgrade from what in my opinion were perfect earbuds I want to nit pick a bit about my recent purchase. 1) Left Ear Bud Issues, Drops Signal: This only happens on runs when I have my iPhone 6Plus in my FitBelt and most noticeably when running hills. One time the left ear bud even screamed at me. Since the Wireless Free doesn’t have a power button, I had to power off my iPhone and disconnect then reconnect the ear buds using the Bose App in order to fix this problem (I did this while running downhill so it wasn’t too difficult but still kinda annoying that I even had to do it). I should mention it has never dropped signal at the gym while running on the treadmill. At the gym, I always have my iPhone in the cup holder on top of the treadmill or someplace near to the machine I’m working on. I don’t know why this drop signal happens but I suspect it has to do with distance or line-of-sight between the ear buds and the music device. In my opinion this shouldn’t be happening on a premium ear bud especially from a top brand such as Bose. 2) Volume Button: even more silly is my little complaint about the volume up/down. If you want your music louder you will hit the button on the rear of the earbud and for softer the button facing forward. I think this should be opposite and the forward most button should make the music louder. In my head forward = louder and backwards = softer. I’m just weird like that and I wish there were a setting to swap the controls. Also, when you click the volume up/down button there is a slight delay (maybe a half second or a second) in it actually changing tone so if you’re impulsive like me and you’re jamming at the button another three times before the first input actually takes place you might take issue with this as well. Kinda bothersome in getting the right volume if you’re trying to do it in a hurry but once I got used to the delay, I decided that patience worked better then the button jamming technique that I had used earlier. Like I said, this is more a nit pick rant than an actual complaint on an otherwise very impressive ear bud and I really couldn’t be more happy with my purchace. It does exactly what I want it to do for my everyday use as an earpiece for taking calls from my phone and is a beautiful piece of audio tech. I’m still amazed that it can do so much and that they found a way to stuff so much tech into such a little device. I would totally recommend coughing up the $250 to friends and family and to you all for these ear buds especially if they last as long as my last pair of Bose earbuds...

I have never had success with EarPods of any brand including past efforts by Bose, which were wired, Apple, or any respected EarPods maker. They were always uncomfortable within minutes regardless of the tip and fell out when I moved my head. My adult son got these and recommended I try them. No discomfort and did not fall out. I bought my own a month ago and am happy with the fit even when walking and the comfort. The sound is more than acceptable but won't touch my over the ear headphones needless to say. Again, more than acceptable. I'd give the sound a B or B- depending on the type of music. With acoustic jazz definitely a B or maybe a B+. High hats and brushes aren't there so good but these are tough even for some midrange over ears in my experience. No problems hearing the double bass very clearly along with all the horns and the piano pieces. In view of the lightwight, portability and convenience that is a good tradeoff. Got them on sale for $50 off otherwise couldn't quite justify the expense before the sale at BB. Definitely recommend.

I’ve bought many pairs of earbuds over the last few years. There were two that just stopped working. One that fell out of my ear and into the abyss of my car engine. Then I decided to get serious. My brother, who always buys the best electronics regardless that he can get something cheaper, always said “never be afraid to buy the best, you won’t be disappointed.” I was so worried about spending less than 100 dollars thinking I could get the most quality for the dollar. So I bought Padmu Slide mainly because of the battery life. The sound sucked. The boast of great bass is not true. I figure it sucks so bad to provide longer battery life. Not for me. I bought Bose because it is the best. The sound and quality is well worth the price. You can’t get better bass from an earbud. With these, you are immersed in sound. Plus, I got the orange and they are really cool.

I love Bose period. great sound as always. I had the soundsport before I bought this soundsport free. (btw the soundsport had survived my dryer after I accidentally put it in the dryer with my clothes for a short period when I had to run a quick dry round and is running fine for over a year now and just has a burnt connecting cable :)) about this product -- great sound! great built. i do hate the earpods sticking out so much but at least it's not the ugly white airpods. the fit is great and it's not dropped off at all. charge holds up good. I've worn it during commute, gym and what not and it's performed well. never had any heating issues or accidental slips. what I absolutely hate about this product are 2 things - calls are received only on the right ear and there is a considerable audio-video lag when using youtube and a minor lag on other apps on the phone. I've not used it with a laptop yet but it's just annoying and I'm just arguing with myself daily to just return these.

I have tried several different of these higher end headpones over the past few weeks. Pros: - They fit very nicely in my ears - They stay in my ear very well. I even tested them by jumping rope - The sound quality is AMAZING - VERY easy to switch between all connected devices - Has an app where device can easily be managed Cons: - Biggest con.. The sound drops between them about once every 5 minutes - They had issues connecting to my apple watch and when they finally did, the sound was only on one side - Phone calls only play sound through one ear

I have purchased several models of the Bose Soundsport headphones in the past and have always found them to have superior sound when compared to similar models from Apple and Sony. I have found these to have equivalent sound quality to the previous wireless model that has the cable connecting the earpieces. The design allows them to lock in your ear very well and I have been able to walk briskly and bend over without them dislodging. I can wear them for about an hour without experiencing any discomfort, which is about the amount of time they play before needing a charge. I really love the included case that also acts as a charging station. I do wish that Bose had included a charger but they do include a micro USB cable that I use with my iPhone charger. They have exceptional bass for small transponders, crisp treble and realistic mids. I highly recommend them.

Being that I have all devices Apple, I decided I needed a pair of wireless ear buds, so I purchased a set of Apple buds. They sounded pretty good, I liked the sleek design and they worked perfectly with all my Apple devices. But, they would NOT stay put in my ears! The right one kept falling out just by my getting up from sitting. Finally, I decided to return them and get something else. I have a pair of Bose Quite Comfort 35 headphones which I love. Excellent sound and noise reduction, so I decided to try the SoundSport wireless buds. They stay in my ears perfectly, and the sound is almost as good as that from my headphones. Amazing sound from buds! I absolutely love them. They sound much better than the Apple buds, deep base and smooth sound. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a set of wireless buds that will stay put and sound fantastic.
