Poor Connectivity Design

However, the connectivity is designed in a very complicated way to confuse comsumer a lot. That said, using bose own app for connection is inconvenient. Everytime I try to clear the connection list to pair with another device and later go back to the app to reconnect to my iphone. The list from bose app doesn’t even recognize the earpud. I tried to restart both the phone and earpuds again and again, but it didn’t work out. Then, I just go back to the Iphone’s setting under bluetooth criteria and connnect with earpud directly. Fortunately, it works. Another issue is that only one of the two earpud has sound when I connect to my laptop. I still don’t know how to fix it. In short, this product doesn't provide user a friendly and hassle free experience. User still can figure out how to fix issue but I don’t think it is worth doing so for the kind of expensive price product from a well known brand name like Bose. Thank you.

Thank you for providing such a great review of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not ideal. Just so you are aware, the Bose Connect app is not required to use the headset. Nevertheless, a good troubleshooting step would be to remove and reinstall the app. However, you can resume connecting via your phones Bluetooth menu.
We also understand that you were having issues connecting to your Windows 10 machine. Please, double check you have the latest Bluetooth drivers installed. Try removing the headset, and re-pairing. Please, give us a call to our Bose technical support line for any further assistance. We can help!

Great Wireless Sound

Most of the sync issues are resolved with the exception of YouTube. Almost all of the other apps I use (HULU, Netflix and Amazon video) have no sync issues. The sound quality on these is fantastic. I had Powerbeats3 and these are a step above those. If you want very lightweight and very portable awesome sound, then these are well worth the money!

The only negative is the fit in the ear. They are initially comfortable but my ear starts to hurt after wearing them for 15 minutes consecutively. Having no cord is awesome when working out. No more ear buds being pulled from my ear when they accidentally catch on anything
