I purchased these because i heard bad reviews about the pods . So im an installer and let me tell you they are awesome i put them on and I'm listening to music just jamming away. U have the option to just keep the right ear on and leave the left off so u can hear if people calling your name . Or if u have an important call u can take it and keep working without issues . Its great

I have had Bose wired earphones for my iPhone, and though friends have recommended going with Apple’s wireless pods, I have been very satisfied with the Bose product, as I expected I would. The charge lasts me about 6 days, which is plenty, meaning I can make my weekly commute without worrying about a charge. I would recommend (and have, to my brother in law, another Bose-phile) this to anyone.

TL;DR: Signature Bose sound quality, and in my opinion, the best accompanying app on the market currently. All of which means very little due to the poor connection quality of the earbuds, which continuously goes in and out, especially while running. COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW: Background: Ever since Bose released their Soundlinks more then a few years I've loved having Bose quality in a wireless format. Since then I've methodically purchased their wireless line-up as they come out. Currently I have and use the following on a daily basis (they're my daily drivers): • QC 35 ii • QC 30 • SoundSport wireless HR • Soundwear (technically a speaker) I'm a full-time undergraduate student, applyiny to post-graduate school, research assistant and minor campaign consultant; so a majority of my day is spent with headphones on listening to music and podcasts. Sound: Anyone who's owned a pair of Bose before knows the quality of Bose sound, but for those unfamiliar, they cover a substantial amount of audible frequencies is near flawless, granted a little too much emphasis is placed on base frequencies, but a basic EQ can correct this. These headphones keep up that legacy of quality, save a drop off through the mid/treble frequencies that are hardly noticable. Physical Construction: They're amongst some of the largest wire-free headphones I've seen and unevenly weighted, with 85%-90% of the weight in the body of the earbuds that is separated significantly from your ear. Nevertheless, thanks to boses exceptional earwing design, they haven't actually fallen out. I'm confident some of these questionable design choices were required to give the earbuds the aforementioned signature Bose sound. The App: As mentioned earlier I believe the Bose Connect App is one of if not the best companion app on the market currently. It is simple and intuitive to use, but the major feature I appreciate the most is the duel connect feature, something that is inexplicably missing in every other "official app" I've used or looked at with wireless headphones. Essentially, it allows you to connect/reconnect/disconnect with another device besides your phone/tablet. which is something I appreciate throughout the day as I'm constantly connecting and reconnecting to my laptop or desktop. Phone Calls: The earbuds handle phone calls fine, offering a clear and easy to understand voice. Unfortunately, they do a poor job of cancelling outside noices for the person on the other end of the line from you. Most annoying however, is that whenever you're making or placing a phone call, the earbuds only utilize the right-side earbud. Connection: This is ultimately what killed these for me and will be returning them to Best Buy later today. These headphones use Bluetooth 4.1 which is disappointing as the industry standard has been 4.2 and is quietly transitioning to BT 5 throughout the year. what's worse is the instability of the the connect. As I'm running or using them for a phone call while driving, they'll continuously will fade in and out despite being out of my pocket, usually in my armband or phone mount on my dash. Irregardless of the direct line of sight and short distance they are from my phone, they'll fade,distort, cut in and out, and create high pitch static squeals while using. Initial reports from tech reviewers citing this issue is the reason I waited more then a year before buying them, hoping a firmware patch would correct this. unfortunately no such luck. Final Decision: I'll be exchanging them for a pair of Jabra Active Elite 65, they stability in connection and noise-cancellation hopefully will make up for the unimpressive Jabra sound profile.
