The noise canceling feature makes my girlfriend absolutely ecstatic when I'm yelling at my video games like a mad 10 year old on call of duty! I do have dreams at night though about not having sound in both hears when using them for phone calls but its OK.

The bad parts are you can only hear on right side when you make a phone. Also you have to hold down the button a few times to make changes, skip, pause , play and it’s a little rough.

The sound great, fit well, and the charging case is convenient. BUT, the wireless connection was designed poorly. The left Earbud drops connection when listening with them. I counted 12 times in one day that the left bud dropped connection. Bose needs to recall these off the shelf. You can Google Bose Soundsport Free left bud earbud drops connection, and the search results will astound you why Bose hasn't redesigned this defective earbuds.

Nice, not great headphones

I didn't have any connection problems with my iPhone 8, no dropouts, which was a big plus. I didn't try them with video so I can't comment on the updated software that supposedly fixed earlier issues with audio syncing. The sound quality was very good, especially for a Bose product. In the end I was turned off by the bulky fit. They felt as bing in my ears as they looked. I didn't find the fit very comfortable for anything longer than 30 minutes, taking them out was always a relief. The case is very bulk too. Overall I would recommend the Airpods for Apple users over these. Sound quality compared between the two is actually quite close, with only a slight edge to the Bose, but everything else about the user experience with the Airpods was far superior.
