Purchased for my grandson. He says they cut out all disturbing background noise. You can remove one to converse with anyone.

Seriously, I absentmindedly misplaced ONE earbud which resulted in me having to purchase another pair. Well worth another $200!

The bose earbuds allow me to listen to audiobooks and take calls while shopping, cleaning, and working. As long as my hair is down they are concealed. The reception is great and my only concern is the size. They protrude out beyond the ear and I fear I will lose them so I am extremely careful and remove them immediately after use and place them in the case. The case is awesome and recharges the buds quickly.

I recommend this wireless headphones; aside from being pretty the sound is incredible. They are worth their price.

I'm coming from SoundSport wireless headphones so when these were announced I was interested. Bose really knows how to make ear tips because these seem to be the only headphones that actually stay in my ears no matter what activity I'm doing. The audio quality of the FREE's are top notch as are the SoundSport wireless's. Bass is not too excessive but its present. It doesn't have noise-cancelling so you will hear some surrounding noise depending on how loud you have them. I wasn't specifically looking for NC anyway as I like to hear a little noise around me to be cautious. I just like that there is no wire to fiddle with. At times the Soundsport wireless wire just got annoying. Now to the reason I removed 1 star...my first initial use of these at the gym, the left earphone was cutting on and off. It happened a handful of times in my 1 and 1/2 hour session. Read the online forums and appears this is a known issue that others have experienced and according to Bose's responses, basically it is what it is in order to be truly wireless. For $250, that's not acceptable if you ask me. Maybe if they were $150, I'd let it pass but your paying a premium for this brand and I expect a flaw but not a connection flaw. Good news is, I used these for a couple hours at work yesterday and no cut-off issues. I used them at the gym this AM and again no cut-off issues. Maybe the connection just needed a "break-in"? I don't know. Nonetheless, I'm still within my return period so I will monitor the frequency that the cut-off happens. I love these but the cut-off is whats going to determine if I return these or not.

Great for listening to your music during workouts and for keeping you pumped during other outside activities. Great Bose sound as always
