Left earbud keeps cutting out

They are in terms of sound, but as numerous people have mentioned. The left earbud constantly cuts out, and yes, I did a firmware update. I went for a walk using the earbuds with my Pixel 2 XL and it kept dropping out. It was so frustrating, I ended up returning it that day.

All around its still the best on the market but $399 at launch was a regret for me. They are a steal at $150 though.
