I was almost ready to buy the Apple when I found more information on the Bose that was positive. So far they are great. They do not block out all the sound around you which may be an advantage for some. If you want complete silence from these your buds you should look elsewhere. Sound and bass are excellent.

They sit easily in the ear, and don't annoy or hurt after time. I tested several high end brands and these had the best sound hands down. There was no "tin can" echo that some brands had. Their profile is bigger than some others which might annoy, but they are easy to get use to and the sound is worth it.

When she couldn't find them I was ready to buy another set to replace them until she said the app had a locator function on it. She ran it and we scoured the house until we found them in her coat pocket in the closet. That one free app feature saved me several hundred dollars. I'm a verified Bose user now for life!
