Good news, I purchased the protection plan, and was able to exchange; bad news same issues; can't return for refund. If you plan to use for working out as I do, I would be weary; maybe consider another brand. Look online at Bose forums. The company knows there are issues that date back over a year; still not resolved. I've had good luck with many other Bose products; not so much on these. Two sets for me, seems like a trend.

These headphones were designed for single earbud usage during phone calls. This is due to the limitations of Truly Wireless technology. The Hands-Free profile is not able to process call audio from the right earbud to the left earbud. Amazing quality

Among the three, I prefer 1more for sound quality but they don't fit my ear properly. These Bose earbuds sits perfectly in my ear and produce nice sound.

I’m a little disappointed that the case itself doesn’t hold more than 2 additional charges for when on the go, but overall, these are great headphones and the sound quality is amazing.

However, they are open-back allowing you to hear everything around you. Not an issue if you are a runner or in an office. But, if you have these at 40% volume almost everyone around you can hear what your listening too, making these impossible to listen to in a quiet office.

Great for blue tooth, but better options for apple

Best quality wireless headphones

However, the sales associate suggested these. If you are someone who prefers better quality audio, definitely go for these opposed to the AirPods !
