Great sound, great fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are honestly very cool, very good sounding ear buds. I've used a lot of different wireless buds, and I have to say, I'm never disappointed with Bose. The package does not come with a lot of documentation, but after the effortless pairing to my S8, it was easy to figure out the rest. Actually, they encourage you to download the Bose Connect app. This app gives you a quick how-to of the buttons, etc. and if you haven't already, pairs them with your phone for you. The case/charging station that they come in is small and sturdy. You put the buds in the case, and they charge via some small connection points. Pull them out of the case and they are on and ready to go. The case also serves as a stand alone charger (if it's charged up already), meaning, when you charge the buds in the case, you're charging the battery in the case too, so you can take it with you. When the buds are inside, the case charges them. Anyone who is a fan of Bose audio will not be disappointed. Great depth, plenty of power, clear high end. I was hoping the app had some EQ ability but alas, it does not. That's not a huge deal for these guys though, and they sounded great with my preferred music app, Power Station. I was a bit skeptical of the fit and size. They are true wireless headphones with no cable between them. Each of the buds is separate. I used the standard set of tips that came already installed on them and they fit just fine. They were very easy to put in my ears, and they stayed in place without any re-adjusting. They never felt like they were going to fall out. The controls are a bit awkward, only because you need to press the buttons quite firmly to engage them. There's a Bluetooth search button on the left bud, volume up and down, pause, track forward and back on the right side. The center button on the right side does triple duty for track forward, back and pause. They can also be used to receive calls. The center button is used to answer, end, mute, answer a second call, etc.. It's all in how many times you press the button or how long you press it. I wasn't sure if I would like totally separate ear buds, but I'm sold on them now. They give your head complete freedom of movement without worrying about a cable snagging on your clothing. These have become my ear buds of choice, both for sound quality and freedom of movement.

Posted .Hey Raul!
Did you know that we include three differently-sized StayHear+ eartips in the box, in small, medium, and large? We're confident that you'll be able to find your perfect fit, which will provide added comfort and stability when using the buds. A secure fit is also paramount to ensure that a tight seal is created around the speaker driver in the buds which will maximize audio performance.

Great Sound and Great for Exercise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SoundSport Free earbuds sound excellent at any volume level. I like to listen to music while exercising and working, and there are times when I want to hear what's going on around me (and still listen to good fidelity music) and other times I want to drown out the world. I really enjoy the completely wireless feeling, and the bud stay firmly in my ears during any activity. I have ridden my bike, did strength training, and jumping jacks, and the earbuds always stay in place. And they are comfortable. I don't wear them for several hours at a time, but probably a few hour-long periods most days. The earbuds are stored in their small protective travel case, and the case charges the buds. You charge the case with a micro USB cable and you can check its battery level by lightly pressing the lid release button. The earbuds and the charging case are well made. They seem really rugged. I think you can throw them in a backpack or purse and not have to worry at all about them. And the mobile app made the first connection to my phone really simple. And each time, I take the buds out of the case, they quickly connect to my phone. The app also has a "Find My Buds" feature. The app will make a lost bud make a faint but easily heard sound in case I lose track of it. When using the earbuds during phone calls, only the right bud produces sound. And unfortunately, the sounds would cut out frequently on my end. People could hear me fine, but I had to switch the conversation to the phone to continue my conversation. I hope a software update will fix that soon. I really like the SoundSport Free earphones, and I recommend them. They're lightweight, sound so good, and they're built to last.

Bose sound--truly wireles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the "wireless" Soundsport buds, and I like those. I have been waiting for Bose to release a truly wireless (no wire connecting the buds) product all year. These sound as great as you'd expect from Bose --far superior to the most popular competitor air pods. To me, sound from Bose is a no brainer, the form and function are the variables. Soundsport Free is truly Soundsport with no wire--same basic size and shape (in fact a tad larger). The volume control and function toggle are all in the right bud. Controls are simple to find and logical. one press pauses, two presses next song, three for previous, press and hold for Siri or Google, and various combinations of presses for conference calls, etc. Construction is super solid--almost too solid on the volume buttons, as they are sometimes difficult to press. The charging case is about the size of two coffee pods stacked end to end, and feels solid as well, with a soft satin finish. You can tell how much juice you have without opening the case. The buds are magnetically seated into the case to charge. They are off when charging, and automatically on and paired when taken out of the case. Battery life seems true to about 5 hours per charge. The BEST thing about these (beside the whole truly wireless) is the BT connectivity. Nothing is quite as frustrating as losing your signal every time you put your phone is a certain pocket, or every time you turn a certain way. This is the first pair of BT buds I have used that have not cut out on me at some point. Being truly wireless with Bose quality sound and build is incredible, if a bit pricey.

Posted .Hello Ram99,
Thanks for providing your review of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We're sorry for the experience you're having. We encourage you to try the different ear tip sizes to find the one that works best for you. The ear buds are designed to rest comfortably and securely. If you need assistance, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
The tip wing fits just under your ear ridge.
1. Insert the earbud so the StayHear+ Sport tip gently rests in the opening of the
ear canal.
2. Tilt the earbud back and tuck the tip wing under the ear ridge until it is secure.
There is generally a slight delay with Bluetooth audio which can be noticeable with video sources. This can differ between apps/sources. We encourage you to use the most recent versions of all your apps and Bluetooth devices.
Thanks again,
Mohsin - Bose Support

Poor connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is good when it works, but they constantly drops signal when in the city. Sound is so bad, it reminds me of a record skipping. I thought it might just be a defective pair, but I exchanged for new pair and it still happens.

Not good for TV, Jabra works with TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has a delay for Smart TV but I exchanged it with a Jabra, which has better Bluetooth technology and almost no delay when watching TV. I did not try it with other devices but a store rep said Jabra sounds better with phones. Probably because of a better version of Bluetooth. I guess Bose has to update their Bluetooth version.

Posted .Hi Miami,
Thanks for taking the time to review our SoundSport Free headphones, we are sorry you have returned the headphones. Truly wireless headphones are subject to some latency between audio and video. The latency can vary based on the device, operating system, apps, cloud based content, network infrastructure and headphones. We would encourage users to ensure they are running on the latest software versions of their headphones to help with any latency issues they may be having.
Have a great day.

The worst Earbuds for expectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy to receive my new Earbuds from Bose. Their reputation has set a bar of higher standards beyond the norm of other competitors. Bose really did not put any thought and effort into the design and sounds of this product. I was sadden when I first seen the size of them and the weight as well, they feel and look big in the ear and after wearing them for more than 30 minutes the ear starts to feel pain, which takes away from being able to wear them long period of times. The sound was not as exciting and expected, they should have came with an app to adjust sounds to your enjoyment. The only thing Bose got right for their product is the price which in this case does not reflect the product. I have already returned them with disappointment of Bose as a highly recommended company. This was supposed to be a birthday gift to myself..
