Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

Finally a worthy competitor to Apple airpods. These wireless earphones are sleek and give excellent performance. I have primarily use them to use while jogging and at the gym and have been impressed by the quality and the secure fit. No more hassle of wires getting tangled up or earpieces falling out while running. They fit securely and snugly and are a great companion on long runs. The earphones are sweat-resistant, with an IPX4 water-resistance rating, and there's a new "Find My Buds" feature on the Bose Connect App that displays the last time and place they were used to help locate them should they get lost. There are buttons on the pieces itself to to control them. The bass levels might increase at lower volume levels to provide a fuller sound, for instance, while at top volumes it gets dialed back, as it does through most earphones using Digital Signal Processing. Purists won't like this, especially since there's no way to adjust EQ in the app. But if you're not looking for an absolutely flat, reference-style listening experience, you won't mind at all. Bose claims that they will last 5 hours in a single charge, in my experience, it usually comes close to that. But the best part is that the case that it comes with provides two extra charges as well so you are looking at around 15 hours of charging time which is great. They are a little expensive but there are no compromises on quality.

The Bose SoundSport Free Wireless Headphones have out of the box functionality, nice design, great sound with superb base, sturdy, good fit (for me) using the middle size earpieces, 5 hour battery life with additional recharge from its rugged stylish compact carrying case make these great audio components especially when combined with good dust and water intrusion protection. - no wires!

Earbuds were awesome with what they were meant to do but after wearing for an hour the earbuds started hurting my ears. I kept them for a week to see if my ears would get use to them but they never did.

for continuous music it does'nt last for 5 hours. I have use this walking outside in sub zero temps and it struggles to give 4 hours of playback . Temperature definitely impacts playback time. Might work for people in warmer places.

All the negative reviews are right. One of the buds can cut out. Distance of Bluetooth connectivity is not far at all. When watching videos on Instagram the sound was off, not on my hbo app though. I switched back to the power beats.

      Hello there, TeaBee,

Thanks for sharing your experience of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. We are sorry to hear about multiple issues you're having. The Bluetooth signal is sent from the source device to the right earbud, is then processed and streamed to the left earbud. An audio drop can occur when there is interference between the headphones and the source device. If you experience this, ensure the source device is within range of the earbuds and check for any other wireless or Bluetooth devices nearby. The operating range is up to 33 feet from the device.

If you feel that your headphones are not functioning properly, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for service. Contact information is here: https://bose.life/2LXQA9c

Thank you again and have a nice day.

I would definitely not recommend these if you plan to use them during phone calls in public. Person you are talking to can hear surrounding sounds much louder than your voice. Not very easy to pair either.

I compared these to Jabre Elite 65t and B&O E8. Bose is number 1 for sound quality. Good balanced sound with decent bass. Bass is non existent in the B&O and faint in the Jabre w/ turning bass eq to max. I actually like how the Bose fit in my ear better than the other two as well. B&O kept falling out and w/ Jabre it was a very different feeling. Hard to explain, but its like they made too tight of a seal or something because I could hear my heart beat and when walking around my foot steps were very loud and heavy sounding. Probably sounds very weird, but that's the best I can describe it. I don't have that feeling with the Bose. Feel very comfortable. They do stick out of my ears more than the other two. Maybe second gen will be slimmer, but the sound is great! I haven't had any connections issues.

These are designed soooo horribly, they even hurt your ears and have proprietary ear tips. The sound is OK but not good enough to justify the price or looking like fool.

These are good earbuds unless you want to pair them with Apple Watch. Audio only comes from one but on the watch. I have discovered that this has been an issue for over a year and Bose has not addressed it yet. There are inconvenient workarounds that some have gotten to work but none have worked for me. Avoid these if you plan to use with Apple Watch!!!

      Hi there!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our SoundSport Free headphones. We're sorry that you have had issues with this product, and that you have not received the intended Bose experience with this product.
With regards to the connectivity issues you had, we would always recommend checking that this is running the most up to date firmware through the Bose connect app, and updating the charging case by connecting this to a laptop/computer, and going to our online BTU updater.
We would also recommend clearing the Bluetooth list for the headset by holding the Bluetooth button until the prompt is heard, along with choosing to "forget this device" from the Bluetooth device that you are using.
The following issue you have had here sounds like an issue with power. Alongside the above steps, we would advise checking that the charging case is receiving power by using another charging cable and port, and ensuring that all the LED's are lighting up correctly when the buds are in the case to charge.
If you are still having issues with this, we're glad to inform you that this product comes with a 1 or 2 year warranty (depending on country/region) that is aimed at issues that could not be resolved by the troubleshooting steps. To make use of this, please reach out to Bose Support in your region!
Thank you for your time, and we hope this helps! bose
