Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the SoundSport Free True Wireless Headphones for their excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The charging case is also well-received for its convenience. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, find the design to be bulky, and feel that the price is not justified by the product's performance.

great sound, east to use, stayed in my ear !!

I wanted these Bose ear phone because I have an active lifestyle in which having a good solid wireless headset is crucial to my day. I wanted to have a product that was practical, functional and sounded great. The Bose headset was able to surpass my expectations, they sounded great, i was able to listen to music, listen to my phone, was able to use commands to control my phone and felt like I did not have anything in my ear. I didn't think they would stay in my ear with out falling out. I was wrong, they felt great and I was able to wear them comfortable for many hours at a time. I used the head set every day, i used it around the house to stream music, i was able to take calls it allowed me to go for runs and keep the sound as big as it could be with out feeling weighed down and have bad quality in sound. I exercised and they kept me motived as i was able to turn the music up and losing my self in my work out. I was wary at first I was wary about the design of the ear buds, i felt they were small and could lose them, but instead I grew to love them because I felt like I had nothing in my ear, they stayed snug and was able to wear them every day with no issue, i do have to say after 8 hrs of continual use either them n or not n the ears did get sore, but that's expected, overall they are sleek small and comfortable and would love to recommend these to people who are on the go constantly. I really loved the case they come in is a hard case. and the case duals as the charging dock. I was able to charge the case and take it with me where ever I was and never feared my head set would die on me. they charged quickly and was a perfect addiction on on the go carry case and charger The head set was east to use and was able to be connected through the Bose connect app, I was able to connect the head set to my phone the second it came out of the case with no issues that was awesome. i also loved that the Bose connect app works so well to Be bale to locate the headset if it became lost. One of the only draw backs is during phone calls. During Phone calls, only one ear bud has the call audio coming thru. I really wished i was able to have the option for one or two ear buds working during a phone call. All in all I give this a 4.5 out of 5 because of functionality the way I was able to go about my day weather it was for a call, to stream audio for a show or a movie to music for an intense work out. think all that buy these headphones will find they fit every situation and would definitely recommend people buying these ear phones!

Bass is not great. Charging is a little iffy sometimes. Keeps falling off, even though I've tried several sizes of the buds it came with.

    Would Not Pair

I could not get them to pair to my Android phone or my mp3 player. Checked the problem out and found that it was an ongoing problem and Bose seemed to be ignoring the posts about it. Returned them and bought the Jabra Elite. These work perfectly. Bose dropped the ball on this one.

    Great Sound, Design Concerns

I have been using the SoundSport Free wireless headphones for the past several weeks. And while the sound quality is very good, I am still having difficulty in trusting the wireless design. The product comes with several sizes of sport tips, a charging cable, and a very durable charging/storage case. A great feature of the storage case is that when you initially push the button to open it, it shows the charge level of the headphones in a 5 level LED readout. However, there is no included wall charger, must be purchased separately. There is sparse documentation in the package, which is typical for Bose as they want you to utilize their Bose Connect App. I chose to move forward without adding their app to my already crowded phone (Google Bose Connect App Class Action Lawsuit) and was able to eventually get them paired with my Samsung Galaxy S5. It took some time to get them properly fitted to my ear with confidence that they would stay. Once fitted, they stayed in place while walking around the house. The real test for me would be to see how they performed during exercise time. I typically run 2-3 miles most mornings and with it still too cold outside to run, the treadmill would have to be the proving ground. Surprisingly, the left earbud never moved, but the right side did require periodic correction, maybe this is just due to the shape of my ears. The most disappointing part of using them was the inability to easily change songs on the move. You are supposed to be able to change songs by pressing the Multi Function button on the right earbud between the volume Up/Down buttons. I was unable to get this to happen consistently while running and had to stop or slow down, make the change, and then continue on with running after resetting it properly in my ear again. It became easier to change songs on my phone, which is not how I like to work out. I usually use a pair of Treblab XR500 wired Bluetooth headphones without any song changing hassle or fear of losing an earbud while working out and the sound quality is great. Overall, while the case design and sound quality is great, I just can't get over the thought of using these and having one fall out while mowing the grass and destroying it. I guess I just don't feel that being completely wireless is necessary for me.

If you only want to connect to a phone (android or apple) for "sport", then you are probably okay but if you want to connect to a computer, do not buy these headphones. Bose, has officially said that they were not meant for use with a computer and have no intentions of fixing ("because they are not broken") the connectivity issues that many are having with connecting these headphones to their devices. So just be aware if you are purchasing these.

One of the best fitness earphones

This is one of the best headphones I have tried. The sound quality is what Bose is all about. Sound is clear and balanced with decent bass. Battery lasted for around 12-15 hrs. The fit is good however it felt like it will come out of the ear but even with running and jumping it has never fallen from my ears. I take it regularly to gym and never faced any issues. Connectivity is good. The con I would say is with the voice call. You can only use the right earphones for taking calls. Overall a good wireless headphone. Totally worth the money.

These are drastically disappointing headphones!!! For the price they should work much better and be far more user friendly, there is a Master headphone which doesn’t allow the other to be used independently which is absolutely unacceptable for a product like this!!! I will be returning these to the store the first chance I get!! These are useless and should not be purchased by anybody until the manufacturer fixes this!
