Great wireless earbuds

The Bose Soundsport wireless headphones are a nice upgrade from wired earbuds. Exercising without the dangling wires getting caught and tangled is a definite improvement.
As you would expect, the sound quality is truly exceptional with these earbuds. After pairing them with my phone, I immediately began playing music and was extremely happy with the full sound quality.
Also worth mentioning is the charging system. The earbuds fit in a small charging case and are held in place by magnets. The case recharges the earbuds (recharge the case using the charging cord to a USB port). Very easy! Honestly, you want to keep the earbuds in the case when they're not in use to protect them and to keep them charged.
Another important feature is that the earbuds fit comfortably, and they securely stay in place as you exercise.
Because of the great sound quality, the secure fit, and a slick little charging case, I definitely recommend these wireless earbuds.

I am an avid horsewoman and the only hands free earbuds I have had any luck with are the wrap around type. When I saw Bose claim that their earbuds will stay on during heavy activities I had to see for myself. I have been using these for about a week now. To no surprise, they stayed on during my normal jogging but I had doubts that try would when I was riding my horses. Well I am pleasantly surprised. They really stayed in my ears when I was riding up in the hills and amazed me when they didn’t fall off when I was jumping over poles! These are a bit pricey but for the fact that they can stay on when I need them to is well worth the money spent. Everything else is as expected from a Bose product. Superb sound quality. The case is a plus because it also serves as a charger to extend the battery life. The only drawback is that I can’t hear my surroundings as well with them in my ears but that is to be expected wearing earbuds.

I absolutely love these head phones. They could not be any easier to use. From the moment I opened the package I could see they were just what had been looking for. They are wireless ,they charge in the case that holds them and you can get around four days worth of use out of them if just using them for things like working out for an hour or two a day. they come with three sizes of ear molds so that you can be sure they will fit securely. the first time i used them i was worried they would be constantly falling out especially since i enjoy running, but they didnt. they stayed in place for a whole hour sweat and all. they have a great distance range on them and seem to pair easily with my iphone. I was lucky and got sent these awesome head phones to try out, i have already told my coworkers and work out friends what a great item these are. if your even considering these headphones go for it,you wont regret it!!!

i bought my first pair of these headphones around Christmas time 2018, and was super excited to have them. I just upgraded to iphone 8 and it doesn't have a headphone jack that worked with my wired headphones, so after reading a number of reviews and based on past experience with Bose products, i purchased these. I typically use these at the gym lifting weights and running outside. The good: They say firmly in my ears and have never fallen out. The quality of sound is awesome. I don't really notice the weight and don't mind they stick out a little bit. The bad: when running outside, the left ear bud seems to loose connection to the right ear bud. This is super annoying when out on a long run and the sound is going in and out of one ear, over and over, almost with every other step. This is my second pair of these earbuds. I returned the first pair thinking it was that pair, but the new pair is even worse. I've owned Bose speakers since 1989 with a set of 601's, and love their speakers. Regretfully, i can't say that about these. I use a Garmin watch with a heart rate monitor, and iphone 8 for running. The earbuds are on software version 1.4.5. I plan on returning these in the very near future. If you plan on using these for running, strongly recommend avoiding these until this bug is ironed out. For the price, I expect better. Sorry Bose.

Excellent Wireless Headphones!

These are one of the best headphones I have ever come across in terms of overall satisfaction. The best part of the whole experience is that they do not fall, and the quality of the sound is so good. I have always faced issues with other wireless headphones related to music while running, working out or performing high intensity training. In the past, every time when I was performing or reached the peak of my performance during sports activities, the headphones either fell or made me feel that they are going to pop out of the ear. And trust me, this impacts your overall experience of playing sports and listening to the music at the same time.
I love the design of the headphones and the case. The case is very stylish and easy to carry in bag or your pockets. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to all the music lovers.

Good Sound Quality need more connect Engineering

While the sound quality is great. The connectivity function is still quite klunky. Spend 5 to 10 minutes each day trying to get both earphones to sinc with bluetooth. Most times only right will connect. So its in and out of ears, put in charger, turn of device bluetooth, disconnect, remove device, back into ears, turn bluetooth device back on reconnect....round and round until finally it connects to both. Hopefully Bose will get their engineers to fix this issue with a firmware upgrade soon. Once connected to both I recommend not putting them back in charger as this will cause them to disconnect and then its a 50/50 chance you will be going round and round again.

I work at Best Buy store 31 and was really excited when these were announced. I have been a Bose headphone fan for years and proudly let my customers know. These were bought to replace my SoundSport Pulse Wireless. I had to find out after purchasing them that only the right ear is active during conversation. This is something that I wish Bose had published on the site. I called Bose and they said it is for safety reasons. But when i am sitting at home there is no risk. The Sound Sport Pulse wireless uses both ears during a conversation which makes it easier hear. I was hoping to go truly wireless but I will have to return these search for other solutions

Hi, Thanks for the review. This is a technical limitation of the Truly Wireless Technology that we utilized for the SoundSport Free headphones where the master (right) earbud cannot send call audio to the left earbud. This is typical of this technology and there are several other benefits to using this, such as comfort, fit, and unrivaled sound quality, as well as convenience. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out to our support line 1800-379-2073. We are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-8PM EST. Have a great day!

So I have to say that I was extremely impressed in ALL aspect of these ear buds. I have a hard time finding comfortable in ear headphones. These were comfortable right away and also came with 2 other sizes for customized fit. Sound quality was great as we have come to expect from Bose. Charging pod is very cool and all aspects of the portability and size are top notch. The ONLY thing that I cant figure out is why in the heck if you put your hand over either ear connectivity goes crazy and both ear buds start cutting out terribly.

Hello swiftquiver77, Thanks for the review of your SoundSports Free. We are delighted to hear you are enjoying the sound quality and the portability of the headset. We understand that you were experiencing the earbud cutting in and out when you place your hand over them. The human body can act as a source of interference for Bluetooth and radio signals. We want to make sure you are enjoying your headset to its fullest potential. Here are some potential solutions to help mitigate this:
- Make sure the earbuds are within the recommended 30 feet proximity of the paired device. - Reduce physical obstructions that may be in the way. - Position the source device on the right front side of the body. - Try the product indoors. Bluetooth signals need reflective surfaces to transmit data wirelessly. Outside usage does not have the benefit of boundary reflection or reflective surfaces and dropouts may be more likely. - If possible, keep out of close range from 2.4GHz devices like Wi-Fi routers, wireless phones, microwaves, cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.

I love the Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones. They came packaged very well with two extra sets of buds one in small one in large so you can change it to fit your ears comfortably. They come in a charging case that the buds fit snuggly in and they charge. You can download the Bose App and find your earbuds if you misplace them. It shows the last location and will play a sound to assist you in finding them. The sound quality is amazing and they kept a charge Four hours that I personally know of! They work great for running also! I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

i was looking for true wireless headphones for the gym... i was undecided between the new wireless beats pro and these. after reading reviews i went to best buy and asked about 5 employees and all of them said Bose... the main issue i had with my old beats headphones was that the base sound quality was bot matching the price point but more of the "brand" itself ... for my workouts i like my music blasting, and with the beats there was still background noise from the enviroment ...with these Bose headphones there is no background noise, the sound is amazing for gym.. and as for the wear (which was a main concern with these) , they stay put through my workout, plus not big and heavy looking like some people say.. happy i bought these

I love just about everything about these Bluetooth earbuds. They sound amazing, fit just right, are comfortable, and let just enough ambient noise in for running on the road without diminishing the sound quality. The lack of any wire is awesome. And the charging case works and is an incredible addition for charging on the go.
The only reason these do not get five stars is due to the poor Bluetooth connection. As soon as I put my phone in my pocket, the connection is either weak with a good deal of static or it drops all together. I have several other Bluetooth headphones that maintain a connection with no issues with my phone in my pocket. One of these is the Bose soundsport Bluetooth with a wire connecting the two buds. Not sure what the deal is with these and the connection.
As much as I want to love these, I cannot recommend them to anyone unless you plan on keeping your phone out of your pocket while exercising or running.

Despite buying all my electronics at BestBuy and being an Elite Member, I have never took time to review a product, but this was so aggravating I had to let the word out! Between my wife and I, we have owned at least a half dozen pairs of Bluetooth headphones in the past few years (Beats2, Jaybirds, Motorola, etc), and I was very excited to purchase some new and hopefully improved models this week. I purchased my wife the Bose SoundSport $129.99, and I decided to upgrade to the "truly wireless" Bose Soundsport Wireless $249.99, to eliminate wires once and for all. I did read a few reviews, but with an overall rating of 4.1, I didn't lend as much weight as I should have to the fewer negative reviews. I used the head phones at home on Tuesday and they sounded really good, and I was very excited for my first run with them. My wife and I left the house and I didn't make it 30 yards before the LEFT headphone began to cut in and out. I stopped (which stinks to do on your run), and fooled with them, hitting the reconnect button, etc, but the problem persisted for the entire jog. DROVE ME CRAZY, especially since my wife's headphones worked flawlessly, at half the cost! The following day, I went back to BB and exchanged the headphones for the same model, thinking it was just an out of box defective pair. Took another jog that afternoon and the exact same problem came up. I unpaired from my phone and paired the headphones to my Samsung Gear S3 watch, which I have a jogging playlist stored on, and it did the same thing. It was so bad, that I ended up putting the left earpiece in my pocket, and listened to the right one, however, I may as well have been listening to my phones speaker in my pocket, because having only one earpiece in, the background noise smoothers out the remaining speaker. I got back home and got online and saw many other people had reported this same issue in their review of the product, and saw that Bose had replied to their negative review about calling into them for trouble shooting, so I took that advise. I talked to Bose and they directed me to a website to update the software, which I find annoying, that a new pair out of the box requires new software, but whatever will remedy this issue, I will try. This morning I ran again and didn't make it 20 yards and the same issue, Left earpieces loses connection, over and over again. I turned back around and grabbed my wife's Bose SoundSport headphones, paired them to my watch and they worked great! I immediately returned the "truly wireless" Bose headphones and got the same model I bought for my wife. WHAT A LET DOWN! $129 headphones completely outperforming the top of the line Bose technology, that are more than twice the cost! Don't waste your money on this tech! These are second year headphones, but CLEARLY Bose does not have all the bugs worked out!

My sport of choice is running. Great music always is a pleasant addition to a long run but traditional earbuds just don't cut it. I was happy to see the Bose Soundsport Free wireless headphones and was excited to try them. Super easy to pair with your cell phone and ready to use. Sound is consistent throughout all the jumping, bumping and hobbling I do. These headphones have really received a workout in sweat and various temps. They have held up and still work as if the first time using. They stay in place nicely but are a little large for my small frame. Various size options may be a nice option for future manufacturing. Overall, I enjoy the quality and functionality of these headphones. Durable, reliable and the wireless feature was just what I needed.

I'm very happy with these earbuds. They fit really well - nice and tight in my ear canal - which is important while working out. The seal could possibly be perceived as a drawback due to the attenuation of ambient/surrounding noise, but it also makes the sound quality incredibly awesome. The pairing process to my iPhone 5 was simple and fast. The on-board controls are easy to feel and use.
The only detriment I can think of is that they are a bit big, but in my case that's actually a plus. Their larger size make my huge ears seem less dominant. ;)

I bought these after reading many reviews. I was not disappointed. They paired easy with the app and immediately sounded incredible. They are perfect for what I use them for. I don't mind that they stick out a bit more than other ear buds. They fit comfortably and securely in the ears and you can't beat the sound. I also like the built in Alexa and other voice activated apps. Sound only comes out of right ear bud for calls, but is not a deal breaker for me. Also, I would like to add that these went on sale for $50 less than what I paid a week or so later and Best Buy gave me the lower price.

I was receiving complaints from my callers they had difficulty hearing me on calls so I searched for a replacement set of earbuds. Sound, comfort and quality are more important to me than price, after reading reviews and having good experience with Bose products and customer experience I purchased these. I was concerned about how far they stick out of your ears. They fit so well and sound excellent. I am also very happy with how easy Bluetooth reconnects when I take them out of the charging case. I didn’t really care that they were fully cordless but now that I have used them in the right ear only to make calls I appreciate that feature. I am extremely happy with these earbuds.

I've been a huge Bose headphone fan for years. I currently own 2 pairs of Bose headphones, one of which is the wired SoundSports. I love them. I use them for everything, casual music/movie watching on my iPad, and also as a phone headset. I recently upgraded to the completely wireless Bose Soundsport Free. They do provide the same great sound Bose is known for having. These are absolutely the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. However I wish there was a button to turn them off without having to put them back in the case. I like that I can track these if I lost them through the app. My only disappointment is I wish I got them in Blue instead of the black.
