Great earphones!!!

I recently received these earphones to review and I’ve been using them for a few weeks and my initial thoughts were that these are great earphones to work out with, providing you find a good fit for your particular ear, and sound great no matter what genre of music you are listening to. I recently tried to watch video with these and they are horrible. The sound and movement of the video don’t match up. Some media streams were worse than others though. YouTube was definitely a miss but Netflix wasn’t too bad. If Bose can fix their issue, hopefully with a firmware update then these would be the top wireless earphones to get hands down despite the fact that they stick out from the ear so far as well. My last recommendation is that Bose figure out a way to make the buttons easier to use on the earphone as well. Overall this is a great product and definitely one of the better sounding earphones on the market.

Decent wireless headphone
I received these headphones as a gift and I use them mainly at the gym. Right away, I had to update the headphones. The update download and installed via the Bose Connect app flawlessly and without issues. Once the software update was complete, I noticed that the sound was a bit better than when I first used the headphones out of the box.
The battery life of the headphones is 5 stars. I haven't come across any issues with fit or pairing the headphones to the Bose app. The one thing I would change with the headphones is the placement of the volume buttons. Several times I found myself having issues trying to raise or lower the volume on the earbuds.
Overall, these headphones are a solid set for the gym or for anytime listening to music. I have these paired with a iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Clear sound which I need as I'm a bit hard of hearing. I like that they can be used independently as either left or right. I love the charging case although I had trouble opening it and there were no instructions on how to do so.

I tried out the wireless headphones with my iphone. I used them at the gym both weightlifting and on the treadmill. The original ear guards were too small but they included several sizes. I adjusted to the larger size and they stayed in my ear. They seem to hang out quite far on the ear. The build quality is excellent and they come in a nice charging pod. They were very easy to sync with the app on the iphone. I would recommend if you are looking for a sport wireless headphone. I have used in the past the jbird and generic chinese ones, the problem is that most do not last. Sometimes I have headphone failures after one week due to sweat getting into the earpieces. The bose have shown no problems so far with damage caused from sweat. The headphones quality build shows as they do not scratch when dropped on the treadmill.

I really like these wireless headphones. They stay in my ears really good when I am working out. The sound is great and I love how clear it is. The case fits perfectly in my leggings. I would recommend these wireless headphones to anyone who needs good wireless headphones.

Anyone familair with Bose knows that they are going to continually put out a great product. The SoundSport Wireless headphones are everything I imagined and more. The sound quality on these have to be some of the best I have ever heard for earbuds. I have used the Apple Airpods and I would have to take the Bose Soundsports over the airpods anyday. I definetly wish I could give these 5 stars, but the only complaint I have is that they are very big & bulky. I am a big guy with a bigger head than most people and they feel really big on me. If you have a smaller sized head or ears you may struggle to wear these and they may begin to feel uncomfortable. Overall, check out this propduct and you will not be dissappointed.

Unfortunately the Bose soundsport free wireless did not make it past 3 runs. My first run they worked well, really no music cutout. 2nd run the music cutout a lot and would keep shutting off. Now on my second run I took the left earbud out and lightly held it between two fingers so I could have a conversation during my run - I don’t think these were meant to do that - so these problems were likely self inflicted. My third run was a disaster where music would continuously cut out and during my last mile the left ear piece had nothing but static and I just had to remove them from my ears and put them in my pocket. Three runs, approx 12 miles and these failed to perform. My Bose free wireless were connected to my iPhone6S which I had in my racebelt for hands free running. The free wireless buds were comfortable and never felt like they were going to fall out but that does not matter too much when you cannot simply enjoy your music on your run. Returned within 5 Days - very disappointing.
I was hoping these would work well as I do like my Bose soundsport wired headset and noise cancelling in-ear wired headsets. Will have to wait to see if a version 2 will come out and try again.

These earphones are ideal for those who have a primarily active lifestyle and want to experience the freedom of having no wires. These sound exactly the same as the Bose Soundsport bluetooth headphones in that they provide quality and extensive sound for users. The only issue I have when listening to these headphones occurs when I listen to bassy music. The earphones sound distorted when I have the volume turned to around 70 to 80% volume. This does not occur for different types of music genres I listen to that have less bass. It also does not occur for bassy music when the volume is lower than 70%. I stream from Apple Music, so I am not sure if Apple's music quality is causing this or either the Bluetooth wireless technology does not permit such high quality for bass intense songs.

Only down fall is only 5 hours of battery, but after five hours of listening to them you should be about ready to do something else while they charge. Sound is great, never fall out even while doing physical activities. Would buy for other in my family.

The sound: great, the size: great, case and charger: great! But the connection keeps falling every 2 seconds!!! This throws away every good aspect of the product! Is so frustrating using them!
I didn't bought the Airpods or the Sony's because I use a lot of Bose products but this one (and it's not the best price, not even in sale) is the worst ever!!!
I rather return this and get the Sony's don't waste your money!!

Great wireless headphones. The sound is fantastic. They are very easy to set up. I love the design. They fit in my ears very nicely. I love that they come with three different little rubber ear size pieces. This is wonderful for when my daughter uses them.

These are by far the best ear buds that I have EVER owned. I like them so much I purchased a 2nd pair. I have always been a "Beats By Dre" fan but after taking a chance on these I will NEVER go back to the Beats By Dre. Good sound quality and the batter life is amazing.

As an owner of these amazing earbuds, I can say these earbuds are top quality and are sold for a good price, it being Bose makes it more up there in amazing quality. Think of theses earbuds as new shoes, you have to get use to them, some people may experience a little pain in the ear for how they’re made, but it’s to keep it secure. I’ve had these for about 3 weeks to about a month and I’m in love with them. Watching shows and movies is the best experience, almost as if you’re at the movies with the bass booster sound. Personally I love these, however there are a few (Minor) issues. Rarely will both the earbuds lose sound for some odd reason but sometimes the left earbud will turn off for a second and then turn back on. It’s minor but as long as you don’t cover it up in any way while wearing it (Laying in your side, covering your hand with it) you’ll be good. All in all I give this 5 stars even with the minor issues.

Great headphones but lags when playing videos

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
These headphones are great for listening to music and going to the gym but not so good for watching videos. While watching video's there is a very annoying lag. Also when making or receiving a phone call only the right hand headphone gives audio... very annoying as well. I have Apple AirPods and they work great for everything even while at the gym and bought these pair of headphones because I am a Bose fan that has several wired Bose headphones that work great. I thought these would be better then their wired headphones but it does not come close. Besides these issues the headphones have great crisp sound. I will be returning these headphones as they do not come close to Bose wired headphones or apple AirPods. I was expecting so much more for $250 headphones especially from a Bose product. Even after the update there is still Iag. I am disappointed and will not recommend these headphones to anyone unless it was $100 cheaper and they were not watching video's.

Hello Manny,
Thanks for the review of your SoundSport Free headphones. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the sound quality. We also appreciate your feedback here and understand that you were still experiencing some latency with audio-video synchronization. The update will benefit users with Bluetooth AVDTP Protocol version 1.3 or later. We have confirmed Apple iPhones and iPads use this protocol, and we continue to evaluate other popular Bluetooth devices. Audio-video synchronization may also vary depending on the mobile app being viewed (Netflix, Youtube, etc.) We encourage you to use the most recent software for your mobile apps, Bluetooth devices, and Bose Headphones.
As far as the communication aspect of your headset, the SoundSport Free were designed for single earbud usage while on phone calls. We understand that you will be returning the headset. It sounds like you been a long time fan of our Bose products, we are grateful for it and hope that you will give us another chance. We want to keep you in the Bose family!
Thanks again for your interest in our Bose products. Very best regards, Mohsin-Bose Support

These headphones seem to be great once I got them set up. The set up was time consuming and rather frustrating but once I got the software downloaded and them synced to my phone they have been amazing. I have very small ears and have had a horrible time finding ear buds that would stay in place. I am a runner and normally don't run with any music because I can't keep the earbuds in my ears. When I opened these I was concerned because they seem to be bulky but with the small ear pieces they stayed in place my whole run (dripping sweat and all). I also love that they charge while plugged into their case, I never have to worry about them being charged. I would have easily given these a 5 outta 5 if the set up wasn't so time consuming.

Wanted to like these - what a cool idea! Sound quality was good but I didnt wear them to be noise cancelling so can't speak to that. Execution i thought was clunky, they look weird in your ear (like a bluetooth but worse) and although the feel secure i like being able to pop my ear buds out and have them hang around my neck. The buttons to turn on and off were impossible to use (there are too many and it's not clear which one does what!). The charging case was really cool, but was something extra i had to carry with me at the gym. All in all - an awesome concept but definitely needs some work.

Pairing: these are ready to pair as soon as you take them out of the package and are ready to go in a manner of seconds.
Comfort: I use these for cardio mostly and can get about 45 minutes out of then before the weight starts to become very noticable on my ears and starts to hurt. I use the small ear piece but still feel as though they are a bit large. they do seem to stick out quite alot also.
Sound: they sound like Bose should, great bass and makes the music come alive. 5 starts for this.
Extra: the ability to locate your Bose if lost if a huge bonus and one of my favorite features.
I received these for free in exchange for review.

I have never seen a case that charges the earbuds. This is super cool! However it will sometimes drop connectivity between buds. It seems to happen when the charge is low on the case, even though the buds say 100%. This is really annoying and ruins the workout. I also dropped one bud out of my ear when I bent over. They come with the Bose app which has added a find my buds feature. It won't find them in your house, but will if you leave them someplace. That is pretty cool and of course the great Bose sound is very cool. However, Bose needs to work on this one just a little more.

My first impression of the Bose SoundSport Free was not too good. I couldn't figure out how to properly use them, and only the right earbud was working. Once I figured out how to properly use them, I was hooked. They are perfect to use when exercising! Absolutely amazing sound quality and I love that they cancel out all other sound. They are pretty water resistant, which is a great quality. They charge using the case, which is pretty amazing. Just put them in the case, and plug it in. The only problem I have is that it sometimes goes back to where only one earbud works and I'm not sure why. Overall, I love them! I tested these headphones for free in exchange for an honest review.
