    The sound quality on these is great but that does not make up for the very evident lag on videos or music. About 2 seconds at times. Both on iPhone and android phones. Talked to Bose and there’s no fix. Bummer

    Not the quality I expected from Bose

    I bought 2 of these for myself and co-worker. Initially these worked great. The sound quality is what you expect from a Bose product (rich sound, deep bass, perfect clarity). Used on my phone and worked great 99.5% of the time. Left ear bud would have intermittent drops of connection on Samsung or iPhone products. Then tried to use them while connect to the laptop while at work. This is when the real issues began. Left ear but would constantly refuse to connect to Windows OS (7 or 10) and apparently this has been a known issue from Bose for over a year an a half. Bose tech support states "we made this for the one on the GO" so they do not intend to support people who have a laptop that ARE ON THE GO. Apparently Bose isn't that up on technology and portability for a technology company. I will not be buying any more Bose products with they type of pompous attitude. A LOT of companies that want business.

    I love Bose everything, everything I have is. Bose. The sound is amazing buuuut when they work ! The left side after update shuts off constantly !!! I mean constantly. One ear alll the time. Like I said I love Bose but dang I paid for two at a effty price, two not one!!!!!!!!

    Great sound but a little large

    The headphones sound great. The build quality is excellent. The bad things are that the battery life isn’t as long as I would like and they are very large. I am a large man (6’5”) and they look ridiculous. I also expected some noise isolation. There wasn’t any. Overall for $199 I wouldn’t recommend buying them. If you catch them on sale then I would recommend considering it.

    Saw these and thought BOSE would make a quality product. It’s a good second behind person talking when watching any videos on you tube or iTunes. I saw a review on You Tube about another mans pair doing the same thing. I took a chance thinking his was a bad pair. Mine did the same thing. My Jaybirds and Apple wireless EarPods sync perfect to the talking in the videos. Taking them back now. Have had less then one hour.

      Thank you for your review!We’ve heard from some customers who are experiencing audio synchronization delays while watching videos.  We know truly wireless headphones are subject to some latency between audio and video, but the feedback we’ve received indicated the product wasn’t performing how we expected.

      A SoundSport Free software update is now available to improve audio-video synchronization for most customers and use situations.  You can download the new software wirelessly through the Bose Connect app or by visiting btu.bose.com on your computer.  This update will benefit customers with Bluetooth devices that fully support Audio Video Distribution Transport Protocol (AVDTP) version 1.3 or later.  We have confirmed Apple iPhones and iPads use this protocol and we continue to evaluate other popular Bluetooth devices.  Audio-video synchronization may also vary depending on the mobile app being viewed (e.g. Netflix, YouTube).  We encourage customers to use the most recent software for your mobile apps, Bluetooth devices, and Bose headphones.

    Truly wireless

    I picked this up yesterday and so far I love it. I went through 2 pairs of powerbeats 3 within a year. I've gotten audio dropouts, unstable connection and battery issues. So far, this pair of Bose does it job very good. The only downside of this is that I have smaller size ears so even the S earbuds in the box couldn't quite fit me well. I hope that Bose will come out with a smaller size so I could get them.

    Wanted great earbuds & 2 device pairing, BUT...

    I wanted great sounding wireless ear buds for using my iPod, that could also support my iPhone for calls. When listening to music i wanted the earbuds to switch to my phone for calls and resume to my iPod. Early reviews indicated the ability to pair to two devices, but these were unable to. Great for one or the other, but not both.

Because of the technology we use for truly wireless headphones, they are unable to connect to 2 devices at the same time. If you are interested, we recommend the SoundSport wireless headphones which have the same fit, sound quality and mostly wireless convenience while offering that dual connection that provides seamless switching to a phone call.     Great sound, bad for iPod

    When using iPad, iPhone or almost anything else I love these. However, I bought them for running and I hate running with an iPhone...so I use an iPod. These things suck with it. Most of the time only one ear pod connects. Many times they don't connect at all. It defeated the purpose and I have tried every fix.

    I loved these when I first bought them. Perfect for running because they won't fall out. But, it's now been less than a year since my purchase and they will no longer connect to my phone. I've done everything recommended by the forums to include updating the firmware. My right ear bud is not working. Both appear to be charging in the case but when I remove them, they don't make a noise like they usually do and the left one blinks a white light. I noticed other people are having this exact same issue, but there's no solution posted from what I've found. I didn't do anything to my ear buds that would've caused this.

    The headphones look, sound and fit great. Easy to share in the charging case. I just hit one year of owning them and the battery has gone from 5 hours to about 3. But the charge relatively quick. However with Bose awesome warranty I called them up and they are sending me a brand new pair.

    Battery drains without usage

    Hello, I saw a lot of reviews praising about the battery. The reason why I bought this is because it has a lot of good reviews about the long lasting battery. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but the battery drains even when I'm not using it. I have to keep it charged or else the buds will be dead before I use it, it doesn't last a week for me, it would be dead in two days with usage, whereas when the buds are not being used and just sat there, the battery will deplete itself within a week. I don't understand why this is happening. Other than that, the buds has really great sound quality.

    I don’t write a lot of reviews but the poor performance I’ve experienced with my last two Bose products has turned me off of the company. The sound with the Sound Sport Wireless Earbuds is great when they work. The problem is that they rarely work. If you look at reviews and comments on the Bose forum you will see that these earbuds suffer from several issues and I have been experiencing both of them (unfortunately I didn’t read those until after I had bought a pair myself). I bought these specifically to use while working out and riding my Peloton. When paired with my phone for music or the Peloton I frequently lose sound in the left bud. My understanding is that only the right bud connects to the paired device via bluetooth and then transmits the signal wirelessly to the left one. Often times the two lose that connection. I’ve updated the firmware and totally unpaired and repaired the device only to have them work for one or two workouts and then start dropping out. This is a known issue that a number of people have been experiencing and it seems like Bose is not able to find a solution. The second problem comes with pairing with the Peloton or other devices with streaming video. There is an annoying delay between the video and the sound. I don’t know the cause but have seen it mentioned in other reviews as well. This also occurs with the Peloton, iPhone X and new iPad Pro. I don’t know if these issues can be corrected with firmware or if it is a design flaw. At this point I cannot reccomend these earbuds until such a time that Bose corrects the problems.

      Hello, DMac. Thank you for sharing your review of the SoundSport Free wireless headphones. There is generally a slight delay with Bluetooth audio which can be noticeable with video sources. This can differ between apps/sources, though the delay may be more apparent with the SoundSport Free due to the true wireless technology. Additionally, we suggest that you place your mobile device on or near your right side when the headphones are in use. The Bluetooth signal is first processed by the right earbud which is then streamed to the left. If there is any interference with the Bluetooth signal, the left ear will drop out first.     One fatal flaw

    WARNING: There is a permanent, unfixable audio delay for these earbuds. Listening to music is fine, but watching videos is painful. The delay between the sounds I am hearing vs. what I am seeing on the video is unacceptable for a $200 product. If you intend to NEVER watch videos, these earbuds are actually amazing. They sound good and are comfortable. But watching videos is painful, and I will be returning these immediately.

    Terrible for what you pay

    I bought these thinking they were Bose so they had to be the best. Wrong! The earbuds kept disconnecting from my Galaxy Note 9...mostly the left earbud but sometimes both. Nothing more aggravating then trying to workout and having earbud issues. I tried everything from un-pairing them several times to completely starting over, etc. Brought these back after 2 weeks and went with the Jabra Elite Active 65t and they work perfectly, sound great, and do not stick out as far as the Bose earbuds.
