I purchased these and was surprised by the high quality of sound. I had listened to one song through CD player and mp3 player with several kinds of ear buds. When I used Bose, I was sure I had heard a burp from one of the singers during the song. I checked with the band and they told me which member had burped. I have never heard it except through these Bose ear buds. Highly recommend.

The sound was crisp and clear, i was amazed at how it would keep out the surrounding noise. My only complaint is that when i used it to work out it tends to slip out, maybe it needs bigger buds but with the sweat it can come out. I have always been a proponent to buy the high end brands over brands like Beats, just because they have a stronger history, and this is no exception. Only con is that they are Wired, when so much not a days is winless bluetooth.

These earphone provide exceptional sound quality. They are true competitor to other products at higher price points. After listening to hip-hop, drum-and-bass, trance, as well as pop and R & B, I felt they were a real steal as a $40 sale price. The bass reproduction is nice. If I had to replace them, I would definitely look at other Bose products. At the sale price, they are definite 5 stars. I give them a 4 because I know of the other Bose products.
