    I only buy these since I find the thinner bud wires are more flexible and don't kink up like some others. When I need to replace a pair, it's usually because I wrap them around my iPod and the constant flexing will eventually cause an intermittent connection. To me, it's not a problem since I find the flexible, non-kinking wires more than worth it
