The timbre is of poor quality. There is not any hissing; however, it's as if someone turned the bass knob all the way down attenuating to -10 and gained the middle hertz of a graphic equalizer in the middle range. Will be returning these.

Those were an absolute mess as they constantly fell out of my ear by the smallest turn of head, and were extremely uncomfortable. These headphones on the other hand have a cool design and after putting them on, it's almost like there's nothing in your ears. Being sweat proof and all, its the perfect gadget for when I weight train and run. The sound quality is truly high quality and even though it is not 100% soundproof, it is able to retain the bass and sound. Do keep in mind that if the main thing you're looking for in a par of headphones is being soundproof, do look elsewhere. Other than that, these are great! I also got a 8.99 Geek Squad plan because accidents happen:) (The price I bought was 39.99)

The sound is great and the volume gets pretty loud. The bass is typical bose base which i love. I was worried about the in ear design but it fits so comfortable and it even has multiple earpieces to switch out. It does not come with a mic so if you want a bluetooth headphone set this is not for you. The wire seems a little short. I can have my phone in my pocket without issue but i feel the wire is shorter than some manufacter phone headphones and skullcandys ive owned before. But all in all i recommend.

I've been using these for about 2 wks now and I must say right out of the box, they paired easily to my phone, fully charged quickly, which is perfect since I use them almost all the time, especially while driving. Like the feel around the neck, lightweight and almost forget they are there, which makes the small clip very useful. Compared to others I've tried, these Bose Soundsports are my absolute favorite. Would be great to add an actual noise cancellation button, for more control over that, but otherwise, I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
