Awesome Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are awesome!!! It was hard for me to justify spending this much on a set of headphones, but after using them, it was well worth the price!! The sound quality is amazing. I listen to various genres of music and i was pleasantly surprised that they all sound great through these headphones. The set up was simple. I didn't have any problems downloading and using the app or setting up the Bluetooth connection to my phone and Ipad. I thought I would just use the headphones while working out, but I found myself using them instead of my over the ear headphones, as these are smaller and lighter with comparable sound quality. I was impressed on how well they stayed in place while jogging and working out . I don't workout too aggressively, so I don't know how they will hold up in those situations, but for the average person, they should hold up fine. The heart monitoring feature is nice, although it would lose the connection at times. Perhaps I needed to put in the smaller earpiece for a better/tighter connection. Although the headphones look bulky, they are very light and comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for quality wireless headphones.

Great headphones for working out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets start with saying I always accidentally yanked my (wired) headphones out of my ears while working out, that it became a pet peeve. Problem solved with these! They are wireless, and connect to your phone very easily via bluetooth! The sound quality is awesome, as Bose lives up to their name. The heart rate monitor works okay, but not the best. They have a built in microphone and volume control which comes in handy if taking a call or listening to music. They are a little bulky (comments made from friends) in your ears, but they do stay in nice and tight. They come with different size rubber flanges for those different size ears. They do not block the sound of wind, I noticed, when using them to talk on the phone while driving with the windows down. Battery life is pretty good as I can get about 3 gym sessions in until a new charge is necessary. All in all, these headphones are great and I would recommend them for anybody who enjoys listening to music while at the gym.

Great Sound But Wish It Was Smaller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose lives up to its reputation with a bluetooth headset that sounds great and is easy to use. Make sure to download the Bose Connect app to your device to take advantage of all features and updates. The pulse portion of the headset works very well and is a great option if you dont currently have a device that tracks your pulse rate. My only wish is that the ear pieces were smaller and fit more in your ear. I run and tend to sweat and the weight of the ear pieces can make it easier for them to fall out of my ears. Also, when I use a towel while running on the treadmill to wipe my head, I can easily hit the earpieces and cause them to loosen or fall out. It's not a big enough issue to have me not use them but a future design change would be nice. If you tend to not sweat as much, this will probably not be an issue.

Pure sound and accurate HR tracking-Annoying alert
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is pure with full, rich lows and highs that don't get shrill. Fit is fine, but takes a bit of getting used to. They will not fall out of your ears, even though at first it feels they will. Just trust the design and roll with it. Make sure you realize these are not noise cancelling--in other words, you will hear the TV in the same room, or the dog bark, or the doorbell ring--you will just also hear excellent sound quality through the headphones. It only makes sense the HR would be super accurate measured through your left ear. It also syncs up with all the heath and fitness apps I had, including Apple Health. However, if the wire moves just the right way, the Bose Voice will warn you the HR is not tracking and tell you to adjust the earphone. This is fine, but gets really annoying after a bit. A simple beep would suffice, and it may keep me from actually using the new HR feature (you can turn it on and off in the Bose Connect app you are prompted to download at setup). If you have a wearable HR monitor, stick with it and the original Soundsport Wireless Earphones, and skip this gimmick.

Great Headphones!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted these headphones to use while running and being active. They are great! They stay in my ears well, and never get in the way. This is partly due to the useful clip on the back of the headphones that attaches to your shirt. I recently used these headphones while snowboarding and they worked out well. I loved not having any wires attached to my phone. Though they were snug under my helmet they still were relatively comfortable and stayed in the whole day. These headphones have the capacity to track heart rate althoughI rarely use the heart rate monitor since you have to use the Bose app to use the feature. When I've used it seems very accurate. Great sound and good battery life. My only complaint is that they look a little bulky. But all and all an awesome headphone for active use. I would definitely recommend to someone interested in these!

Great sound in a small package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been enjoying my new earbuds for a couple of weeks. They sound fantastic, extremely clear audio with good bass. The battery lasts more than five hours per charge. I normally have issues with the earbuds because they will not stay in my ears. These ones do not have that problem. The comfortable, changeable rubber pieces slide into my ears very easily with a slight twist and they stay put!

Just overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like these headphones but they are just too pricey for what you get. I should mention my last pairs of headphones were jaybird x3 that were stolen and i wanted to splurge on these but I got less for more money with the bose. Let me explain what I like and don't like then below I will list a summary comparing the two. Pros: Comfortable, they don't fall out, clear crisp audio (also a con), heart rate sensor works ok...just ok. Cons: outrageously bulky, huge sound leak both ways in and out, short battery life. 5 hours compared to 8 on the jaybirds. Price. Audio- let me explain I said i had the jaybirds which sound better out of the box by the way but if you don't like the sound of the bose that's it there is no changing it. I was spoiled with my jaybirds because you can adjust the sound to whatever you need via the app. And no it's not gimmicky it's a firmware modification that will stay programed until changed. I was serious disappointed because I owned a pair of jaybirds. If I had never owned those i would have loved these. They are $130, smaller in size, more comfortable, louder much much louder, customizable sound that sounds better to YOU. They have the best passive noise cancellation of any headphones even better then my $350 noise cancelling headphones. They fit under a helmet. I think what i hated most about the bose is the bulkiness. I'll be returning them for another pair of jaybirds.

Excellen Wireless Earbuds - Especially for Actives
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose SoundSport Pulse wireless earbuds are great. I especially value tech that simply does what it says it'll do, and these earbuds hit the mark. The free companion app allows you to pair them with 2 devices so you can switch back and forth easily. I used them with with my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Pro 9.7" and the pairing was effortless. Sound is solid. I used them for watching video on my iPad (in addition to normal use with the iPhone). The app also tracks your pulse (thus the name) and does a decent job of keeping a record, etc. The buds fit comfortably in my ears and have fins that keep them in while involved in running or other activities. It did take a little practice to find the best way to work with Siri, but I eventually got the hang of it (press and hold the on-cable controller and say "Hey Siri" and wait for the 'beep' before giving a command). I suspect that has more to do with Siri than the earbuds. The controls are a little high near my right ear on the short cable that extends from ear to ear, but there's not much choice on that. The included clip keeps them attached when you need to take one or both out and it comes with a handy carrier that clips on with a carabiner. All-in-all, the SoundSport Pulse are an excellent pair of wireless earbuds. For me, they also came just in time for my new, headphone jack-less, iPhone 7.

Excellent Bluetooth Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely impressed with these earbuds. I have tried a few different sets of bluetooth earbuds and these blow them away. First off the bluetooth connection is flawless, no skips or connections pauses like others I've tried. They have excellent range with the expected Bose sound quality. The battery life is very good at about 6 or so hours of play time. My favorite part is the silicon ear pieces, they are very comfortable and you just about forget you have them in your ear. I love the tangle-free cord and the microphone/talk feature is very clear. Despite the look of something hanging out of ear, I was rather surprised I only had to adjust them or once in a while and only during a workout. I have always been a fan of Bose and these are a dynamite addition to the collection.

Great sound, but difficult fit, HR gimmick
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first, the sound quality of these earbuds are great. I don't care what people say, Bose continues to deliver topnotch sound quality. My big complaint has to do with the fit of the ear buds while working out. I've tried every tip that comes in the box with little success. I've used Bose wired headphones earbuds before (for casual use and working out) and really liked the fit of their ear tips, but for whatever reason I couldn't get the SoundSports to stay in while running. I generally sweat a lot (yes, including my ears) and I have to try to jam these ear buds into my ear and wipe the sweat out while I run; which is far from ideal. When I wear these around the house in less strenuous circumstances I have zero difficulties keeping these ear buds in place. But I got them to wear when working out. This could be a "me" problem, but I just want to forewarn potential buyers that, in my personal opinion, sport or sweat resistant ear buds really vary in their ability to stay in one's ear from person to person. If you're like me and sweat a lot or haven't had great success using ear buds while working out, I would consider something similar to the PowerBeats wireless that have "hooks" over your ear to prevent them from falling out. I've had better success keeping those in my ears. Even if you are willing to give ear buds a try or haven't had difficulties with Bose ear tips in the past, I'd save your money and get the non-heart rate model. It's nice to see your heart rate and when compared with my FitBit Charge HR they have similar readings (I have concerns with its accuracy as well) which gives me no reason to doubt its accuracy, but I don't know what to do with the HR data. You can only see it in the Bose Connect app, and I really don't care what my HR is in real time, for me, I'm more concerned with my workout and would rather see my HR post-workout. This leads me to my next pseudo-complaint, the Bose Connect app. The app is nice, very pleasant look, and easy to use. But for me, it's just another app to have. It does control your music, which is nice, and it connects your Bose devices, but I'd rather have one less app to deal with. Again, my opinion. And it is because you can only get your HR reading in the Bose Connect app that makes it so useless to me (NOTE: I did not check to see if other fitness apps can gather heart rate data from these headphones). I will say the battery life is normal, not great, but not bad. And I do like the verbal instructions/guides that tells you when your headphones are connected, the battery life and heart rate. All in all, it's all a matter of personal preference and if ear buds work for you. A big issue is not being able to take these for a test drive without committing to purchase. Kudos to any manufacturer/retailer that can figure that out. Again, like virtually every Bose product I found the sound quality great, but I would stick with the SoundSport "normal;" sans heart rate. One last thing, the inclusion of a carry case is awesome, other companies provide one (Beats comes to mind) but not all and that is a huge plus in my opinion.

Love them so far!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these headphones for 2 weeks and so far I really love them. The sounds is great. They are very easy to use and fit very comfortably in my ears. I bought a cheaper pair before and they were really uncomfortable. They are easy to use and the battery life is amazing! Also they come with a little pouch to store them which is very nice and keeps them protected. Overall an awesome pair of headphones for me.

Awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these as a free trial through Review Club to try for a couple weeks. So far I love them! They stayed in my ear through my whole half hour run and the sound as great. I had no issues with connecting them to my phone. I really liked that I could clip the wire to the neck of my shirt to prevent it from bouncing around while I worked out.

Pretty incredible... like always
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose these headphones because i needed great quality headphones that will assist me on focusing throughout my workout, without the problem of tangling wires getting in the way. I was not let down. These headphones perform wonderfully, and are easy to pair using the Bose Connect app. I mostly used these headphones when going to the gym and running/lifting weights. The heart rate sensor works most of the time, however if sweat is built up on the physical sensor it will not read. A simple swipe off and it will function normally as advertised. As a normal customer of Bose, I expected a quality headphone, and was not let go. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering in buying quality headphones for any type of workouts. Even when not in the gym, they provide amazing sound quality for leisure listening. In conclusion, great looking, sounding, and performing headphones for any daily activities you may be apart of.

Great for working out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is very convenient compared to plug in headphones and the features are great. The product has a free app that even tracks your heart rate which was accurate and quick to respond to any change which is a great tool to use when working out frequently. Sound quality is clear and there have been no problems up to this point when using these headphones. Charging is very quick with these headphones which is a great trait when constantly listening to music. The actual ear pieces were a little foreign to me at first but they fit in my ear without falling out which was my main concern. As for any cons, the size of the headphones is the only downside but that is virtually no big deal as the functionality of the headphones makes up for it. Overall these headphones exceeded my expectations and I began using them over my daily plug-in headphones.

Great sound but...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like most Bose prodcuts, these headphoens produce excellent sound/sound quality. The pairing was a breeze and even the packaging was top notch. However, like most non Apple earbuds, these do NOT stay in my ear, especially while working out. I tried both the medium and small ear size adapters and if I was sitting still, they stay in fine, but any movement was enough to make them come loose. While this isn't necessarily a negative reflection on the product as a whole, for me personally, as much as I want to wear and use them, I simply can't. If they fit in my ear properly, I'd give them 5 stars.
