I am very pleased with the sound quality of these ear buds. Crisp, clear, and substantial bass. Not 100% noise isolation, but very good. Comfortable at first, but after 30 minutes my ears hurt a little. I have sensitive ears so normally I replace the silicon ear pieces with custom foam ones, but this model has the ear holder attached to the ear piece so I can't do that without losing the ear piece (which does do a good job at keeping the earbud in my ear). I have had no issues with the bluetooth audio cutting out.

After my Beats Bluetooth earbuds broke off for a second time, I did some research and switched to Bose, and in the month since I bought them, I have been very happy. They stay in my ear much better while I'm running, and hold a better charge than the Beats.

If you want the very best sound in a lightweight easy to use device this is it. With the Bose app these are easy to use and pair with your device. I have two pairs of these and have given them as gifts that are simply amazing. You won’t have buyers remorse.

I agree with CNET and other reviews in that these are probably the best in ear bluetooth headphones you can get for the money. There are limitations to both the bluetooth technology and in ear headphones in general but bearing that in mind, these blow away all other in ear sets I've tried. A strong presence of bass which is totally lacking in many other sets, a nice, balanced frequency range with good instrument separation. These are bulky compared to some but I don't notice the bulk while wearing them and they appear ruggedly built. I like the way that each time the set is powered up, you get a voice prompt stating the percentage of battery life left and the device it's connected to. Stated battery life of 6 hours is probably conservative. Bear in mind, these are loose fitting design and allow outside sound to leak in. This is actually desirable if you run or wear them outside but if you need total noise isolation, these are not the headphones for you. They fit fairly well in my ears with the left being slightly loose and many I've tried do not. Ears seem to be like finger prints though with no two alike so your mileage may vary. There have been issues of these phones dying in certain heavy sweat use but this has not happened to me. Bose has promised a fix which may be in place by the time you read these but I probably would not buy a pair unless I knew the fix was in place. In summary, as stated, compared to the competition, I don't consider these over priced and I would buy them again in a heart beat.

I bought these for my wife to wear at work. She absolutely loves these and wears them every day. She listens to them in the office when she sorts her mail then uses them to talk on the phone when she gets phone calls on her route while she listens to her Bluetooth speaker. She says it works perfectly when she gets a call. It shuts off her speaker and then when her call is over it starts up again. These headphones have outstanding sound and are very comfortable. They sound better than many wired headphones I have listened to. I recently purchased the battery charging storage case which she loves as well.

I don't have any long term reviews on these headphones, as I've just purchased them but so far the sound quality is great, they're lightweight, comfortable and they stay put.

I absolutely love them, way better then the beats I had that I went thru about 5 pairs of cause they quality sucks. The sound is way better and much more comfortable. Only problem was one day on earbud came apart alone thank good for geek squad protection

The sound is very good. The earbuds are comfortable. The tab on the charging port is very fragile.

I had been waiting for these, and when they arrived I was hesitant. Not because Bose does not make good stuff, but the $149 forced me to do some campaigning with my wife. Luckily I won a $100 gift card (really) and that lessened the pain. Now that I have them I should have spent the $149 earlier. Wonderful sound, surprising comfortably as they feel heavy at first, but that sense leaves soon enough. Battery life is good but not great, then again how often do I need hours of uninterrupted ear bud time. I have read a few good things about the "charging case" but have yet to take the plunge.

No if’s, and’s, or butt’s...BOSE is the way to go! Was decideing between several brands including Sony, Beats, and Jaybirds. But BOSE gives the best comfort and quality of sound that you could ask for. Adjustable buds help find the secure fit for those that enjoy running.

It is one of the best sport headphones I've ever used. You can typically find these for 150 but at the time of this review they are $119! They have solid battery life, excellent sound quality, nice quality, good pairing, they get very loud and they don't fall out of you ears. My only gripe with it is that if you lose the clip, the wire on the back my rub against your shirt but only sometimes and it's a minor problem nothing to peg down the review to 4 stars. I recommend this to anyone who needs a good pair of sport headphones.

Summary: You’ll get high quality sound that only BOSE can deliver but their quality control dropped the ball with the rubber material durability surrounding the edge. After 3 pairs, and owing them between 6- 9 months, both the rubber surrounding the earpiece ( location of power button) and the rubber on the volume control has always warped and begun to detach. This is also true of the rubber charging port which sometimes would not fit into the slot. Another issue is the rubber on the volume control also warps which makes it difficult to control the volume buttons unless you align them a certain way. Luckily I had the Geek Squad insurance to replace them each time but this product’s rubber material needs to change since it’s currently design is defective or has very poor durability. I only buy BOSE products because of their top-notch sound, but this specific product’s build quality is terrible and making me consider other brands

I originally purchased Beats by Dre. They were a huge disappointment! The audio was terrible, it was all mids and treble unless you hold the ear bud down into your ear. I brought them back and got these, should've known to just go with Bose in the first place. Bose has been an industry leader in sound for a very long time, that excellence carries over into these headphones. The audio sounds awesome, I wear these every day to the gym. They stay in during heavy exercise, and they are so light you barely feel like you're wearing headphones.

I have had the wired SoundSports for a few years now, but I thought it was time to get the wired connection out of my way when hiking. These headphones provide the excellent comfort of fit. They are not to heavy and do not cause ear strain. The sound is awesome. I get rich sounds and am still able to hear and interact with my surrounding. Finally, pairing and controlling the headphone is super we easy and the voice notification that identify callers, the state of the battery, and what the head phones are currently connected make using them a breeze.

I love the sound. It is full range good bass. Bose made these comfortable to wear for an extended time. Only reason for the 4 stars is that the battery life is not as good as other headphones that I have. If the battery last longer then it would be worth the 5 th star.

These headphones were a steal for the price I paid. Sound is clear, bass bumps, and they stay fit inside the ear. There's also a little clip that hooks to the neck of your shirt and that's pretty cool but I never use it. Overall, they were worth it !

I bought these to use while exercising or doing general outdoor activities. I had a pair of the LG ones, but the large bar that runs across the neck is uncomfortable when sweating. The Bose brand does not have the bar at all, but instead has all the functionality built into the earbud itself. Much, much better. PROS: The earbuds fit very comfortably inside the ear. They have a design that lets you rotate them into position so they're pretty stable without the need to bury them. The sound quality is excellent. I've never had a pair of low profile, wireless earbuds get the range of sound that these things put out. The bass is solid, but doesn't overpower if you don't want it. The thin cable has a clip that you can attach to your shirt to keep everything from bouncing around. It's something I didn't think much about until I began using it. Nice little extra. It comes with a decent little carrying case that fits in a jacket pocket or has a belt clip if you need. I just like having a nice looking carrier instead of rolling it up and leaving it that way or trying to pack it back into a weak mfr casing. CONS: The battery life says 6 hours, but when I use it for an hour to an hour and a half a day it needs recharged after 3 days. When it says the battery is low you really are close to having it turn off. I've not explored the software enough to know if you can change when the low battery warning is activated, but I have had it die on me in the middle of working out. The buttons are a little close to the ear for me. I don't know if this is a common issue or if my head is bigger than normal (or both), but having the button dangling about jaw level is not convenient. I'd rather have the controls on the earbud itself or in the center of the cable so it's out of the way. I have paired it with an iPhone and everything went very smoothly. It doesn't drop like my LG pair did on occasion. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and hope they last a long time.

I have Bose frames, wireless over-the-ear and these excellent in-ear headphones. Oh long battery life, great fit, works well with Siri/iPhone, easy pairing, and durable. I’m old-school, I like a lanyard, so when I remove it from my ear I can let it go - I don’t have to put an earbud in my pocket or hold onto it. Highly recommend.

My teenage son bought these with Christmas money. Great sound and holds a charge well. He is very happy with the weight and fit. Great purchase.

These headlines are solid from a sound and comfort standpoint, but was a bit disappointed when Ibegan to use them. One flaw is that when you tilt your head forward and look towards the ground, they came loose for me and are prone to fall out. Being that they are designed for workouts, and you are doing something like a push up, they can get annoying with how easily they can fall out. Also...already knew that the battery life was only 6 hours long, prior to buying them but guess I didn’t realize how short of a time that is, which makes charging them very frequently a necessity (and annoyance). Overall I think from a sound standpoint they are what you’d expect from Bose, but the other aspects are a little less to be desired.
