    Best Bluetooth Headphones!

I have owned Jaybirds x2 and x3, and they always seemed heavy in my ears and felt like they were going to fall out all the time which they did many times. Jaybird x2's seemed better then the x3s and I kept having issues with the x3's disconnecting from my phone randomly. I tried my son's Bose SoundSport Bluetooth headphones and they never disconnected and they fit so well and are so light that I actually forget I even have them in my ears sometimes. They are especially good if you are running or moving around a lot. They fit much better when I'm listening to music on my Harley, I don't feel like they are going to fly off like the Jaybirds did. Lastly, my son has never liked Bluetooth headphones due to the sound quality not being as good as wired headphones that he has tried in the past. This changed with the Bose SoundSport Bluetooth headphones he can't tell a difference or much of a difference. The bass is surprisingly good verses prior Bluetooth headphones, so he switched away from wired headphones for good and I agree with him. I think these Bose Bluetooth headphones are the best Bluetooth earbud headphones to date.

Perfect Bluetooth and Excellent Water Resistance

Bluetooth NEVER goes out. Not even for a millisecond. Both while listening to music and while on phone calls. Also, there are no annoying sounds such as beeping or high pitch screatching like with lame skull kandy headphones. These headphones are COMPLETELY water resistant. When soaked with sweat or water, neither the sound nor the mic is distorted AT ALL. Conditions that don't involve any water pressure such as walking in the pouring rain and bathing in a full on shower do not affect these headphones. The shape of these headphones are PERFECT. They will ALWAYS stay in the ear and won't fall out when moving abruptly. Some other things about these headphones include: Charges very quickly and lasts for a long time. If I remember correctly, it charges from zero percent to one hundred percent in less than an hour. Afterwards, they will last for a few days listening to music and making calls for about an hour each day. They also have lights indicating when it is fully charged and they have a built in sexy voice that says what percentage its at when turning them on. If I had to change anything, it would be the volume. I often find myself listening to calls and music at the highest level of volume. Constantly pressing the higher volume button to check that it is as loud as it gets. But besides the actual volume, there is a full range of sounds from highs to lows. These headphones are very good for high quality sound in both music and movies. As a suggestion to Bose: the app that can be used for these headphones has very little functionality. I recommend adding a feature that allows one device such as a phone to play music on multiple other devices at the same time such as two pairs of headphones. Then we could work out with two people and have the same music playing and stuff like that or watch the same movie together at night. And obviously, we should also be able to communicate using the mic while doing this if desired to do things like talk while working out and encourage high performance or make jokes and discuss a particular scene while watching a movie. It can be used for riding motorcycles and three way calls. There's a lot more possibilities... The next model should be a thousand times better and we should enter the future now instead of making minor adjustments for future models.

These are very comfortable in the ear. The range of sound is excellent. I opted for these ones with the wire between them due to the price mostly but also because I heard some reviews of the left and right being out of sink. The best thing about these is the battery, when you turn them off, they are off and ready to go for your next use. I had the gear I-con X the battery life sucked! They would always be dead when I went to use them. They also were not very comfortable in my ear. Bose did a good job with these i can hear the lows, and I mean really low like 30 Hz and you can actually feel the bass. Obviouse not like a sub woofer. I was concerned about how they would feel in my ear with that cone looking part one the end, but it turns out they are very comfortable. For me I hate those round ones that suction cup fit inside your ear, they just hurt. These Bose just nestle up to the ear with out suction cupping inside, they also stay there very well, I have not had issues with them wanting to fall out.

The Bose soundSport is a top one product, I’m a frequent hiker and I had very bad experiences with earbuds falling all the time when I make a sudden move or jump but not with Bose soundSport, they work like a screw that goes to your ear and have a clip in the back that goes to your t-shirt collar to ensure maximum grip, they are very comfortable and work like a sound cancelling too, they also come in 3 changeable ears sizes, Small, medium & large the sound is perfection even with the volume to the max, no distortion what so ever, they come with a cool clip case to carry on anywhere you can clip them on, very simple instructions how to set up and use, battery last for many, many hours and the price is very affordable, I’m so stoked with this product and I highly recommend to others

What an incredible new wireless headset Bose created. The sound is fantastic and the ear pieces fit so comfortably in the ear! The app Bose created is very cool which will allow you to control functions on your headset, see the battery life, etc. The bluetooth is multipoint, which means it will stay connected to, and switch between two devices. You can have more connections registered with the headphone, and it will seek out the most recent two devices on the list. The Bose build quality is top notch. The cable is not fashionably flat, but it is thick enough that I feel it is going to last. It has a soft matt rubbery finished that feels great. The in line control on the right side has a curved body. At first I find it strange, but I after using it a bit I think it helps bend the wire back towards the back of the neck when you wear the headphone. The buttons on the inline control are all under a soft rubber cover. They takes a bit of force to activate. The + and the - buttons are higher than the middle, so pressing them by feel is easy. I listened to music with deep bass, just to see how it would sound...oh my word. It literally vibrated my ears that's how deep the bass is! Amazing! The sound is so incredible. With these in your ear, they aren't fully noise cancelling, but they do a very good job of keeping out other noise!

Needed a good quality set of headphones to replace the ones that came with my phone. First time using it this morning. Main use is for my commute but will also be using for workouts at the gym. Giving four stars because it's too early to give five. Some quick points: - Fits ear comfortably; nice and snug; not heavy - Remote/mic is a good size (I've seen some too large for my liking) - Not noise canceling but I prefer this as I like to hear what's happening around me during my commute on the train/bus - Good balance between the treble and bass; nice sound quality - Easy to turn on/off; also shows battery status - Music playback available on remote (>, II, >>, <<) - Although the box says made for iPod/iPhone/iPad, this is compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (I also saw reviews where this device worked for others' samsung phone) - My commute to work is about an hour and the battery indication was still green. - Headphones were charged by plugging USB (provided) to my laptop.

I bought these for my wife, who uses headphones for work calls since she is out in the field a lot. She also works out before work, and I wanted to get her something versatile. From the presentation to the materials used to make the product to the sweet sound these puppies make is incredible. The box sets the entire tone of your purchase. Bose did not disappoint with this one. The box opens up with two wings and the headphones in the middle, with all the good stuff like the carrying case, charging cord, and different ear size replacements are hidden underneath. The headphones are nice and sturdy. The wire is thick, but not too thick. It does come with a clip that you can attach to your clothing. The clip is adjustable along the cord, so no worries if you do not want it clipped directly behind you. I was surprised that the ends are not magnetized like other headphones. I like that because I feel like they won’t fall off, but not a big deal. Of course, like anyone we are in a rush to hear what they sound like so we are trying to pair right out of the box without reading the instructions or anything. We are long pressing all the buttons on the volume controller, and it is not turning on. The power button is on one of the end earplug. My wife paired it to her iPhone without the need for the Bose app, but we already had the app downloaded anyways since we have other Bose products. Uh-mazing! The sound is nice and crisp. The bass is low and very defined. These aren’t the teenage type of plugs that you can hear a mile away and annoy the crap out of me. These pups fit great in your ear and keep the sound between them. The very rich smooth sound that I am used to from Bose is delivered through this product. The controls are easy to get to, and the buttons are not flimsy. High-quality materials make these feel like they are going to last her a long time. One of the best features is the Tile built-in. My wife is constantly on the go, and may ( or may not according to her wink wink) misplace items occasionally. She can use Tile to find her headphones! She enjoys them, and so do I when I talk to her she sounds so much clearer than the car speaker or the phone speaker ever did. This is a great product. I am going to buy a pair for myself. Good job Bose!

After owning the previous SoundSport model of headphones, I decided to get the wireless ones. First impressions were okay, had some major Bluetooth connectivity issues with initial usage...they often skipped depending on where my phone was as I watched a YouTube video. After that they seemed to work just fine, did not know why they did that when I initially started using them. Overall, the sound quality is great as well asthe comfort, despite the battery being in the earbud themselves, was actually quite impressive, very comfortable to wear and they stay in your ear! Sound is balanced and clear like most Bose products, and they do offer decent bass compared to other models which are not extremely bass heavy. Noise isolation is better than the previous model, due to the StayHear+ tips, although not great. That is intentional, as when you are working out or running, you can be more aware of your surroundings rather than blocking them out. Connectivity is acceptable, nothing too long range, minimal skipping.Although when I would get a FaceTime call, they did not connect to give me the sound, instead I had to re-connect them to get the sound from the phone to the headphones, a weird issue. Battery life is pretty good, you could likely get a week of workouts from these headphones. Also a clever feature to save battery is the subtle shut off of the sound and battery when you are not listening to anything for an amount of time. Charge time is average, the cover to the charging port is very flimsy, feels like it could snap off. In-line microphone works pretty good for phone calls and Siri, although the buttons are not as tactile and seem to wiggle a bit when you press them. The voice when you turn the headphones on gives you battery life as well as what devices (max is 2) the headphones are connected to, although the sound of this opening voice can not be adjusted oddly. The Bose Connect app gives you the same information and is useful. Lastly, these do not connect to a computer running Windows that great at all, regardless of the fact your computer lists them in the Bluetooth device list. Overall these are a great pair of headphones, but they have some small flaws which should be taken care of...these flaws do not pose that big of an issue through daily usage though! Bose products are reliable, always have had good luck with them, they will last you a long time if you take care of them!

Received the earbuds and quickly was able to Bluetooth the earbuds to my phone. Sound quality is as good as my wired earbuds. I normally don't like the wrap around on my ears, but these are comfortable. They don't pinch my ears like previous wrap around earbuds. My only negative is I wish the volume could be increased slightly more. And yes, I checked the volume on my phone first.

I have now put in quite a bit of time with these earbuds. I've been searching for a nice pair of Bluetooth earbuds and have gone through quite a few of them including the Powerbeats 2 wireless earbuds, new Jaybird Freedom (F5) earbuds, neckband-style earbuds from LG and and Skullcandy, and JBL. They all had their pros and cons but my main issue with all of them is that they just weren't comfortable to wear. The Jaybird's were the only ones that would actually stay in my ears but their wing tips kept pushing the earbud down on my ear canal instead of holding it in place. The others would simply pop out of my ears and would never stay in, that included the Powerbeats 2 wireless earbuds (that ear clip really does nothing). Enter the Bose SoundSport wireless earbuds. I'm a big fan of Bose's ear tip design for their SoundSport and QuietComfort 20 earbuds. They are currently the only ones on the market that will actually stay put in my ears and provide a comfortable listening experience. Bose has taken the StayHear + tips from the QuietComfort 20 earbuds and moved them over to their SoundSport earbuds. So anyone familiar with the QC20's will know how these fit. They are lightweight and provide a level of comfort I've never had with any other wireless pair of earbuds. Just like the QC20's, I can and have worn these for hours without having to take them out or even adjust them. These use an open design which means that outside noise can still be heard. I think this is a positive for a pair of earbuds designed to be used when working out as you can go walking/running and still be aware of your surroundings. You won't get run over my a car as you can hear it approaching. I've used my earbuds in a shared office as well and they were fine with drowning out everyone. The open design does mean that sound leaks but I've found that the level of leakage is the same as Bose's other SoundSport wired earbuds. It's enough that people around you (if it's quiet) will notice but not enough to be annoying in noisy public transit situations. The sound quality of these have been improved over the wired SoundSport earbuds. There's more bass but it doesn't overwhelm and the highs are even more pronounced. These definitely aren't for audiophiles looking for a flat response curve though, this definitely gives a v-shaped curve where the mids are suppressed and the highs and lows are bumped up. I'm fine with that though and actually prefer that sound signature. I, and many other people (it's what Dr. Amar Bose spent tons of research time proving), often don't like flat, accurate sound. The earbuds fit securely and I have yet to have them pop or fall out even when the wire was being tugged on a bit. The parts of each earbud that house the electronics don't touch my ears and don't dig into anything. They really are just as comfortable as the SoundSport wired earbuds. I did notice that the volume of these has to be turned up more compared to the wired versions. I often listen with the volume of my iPhone 6S Plus at 65-70%. I wouldn't turn it up any louder but these, much like with Bose's other modern headphones, are quieter. I'm alright with having to use a high volume setting so long as I can still comfortably listen to music. These are a bit heavier than the wired SoundSport earbuds but that's to be expected given all the electronics that these have to house. That being said, I haven't really noticed a difference between the two when it comes to everyday, general listening. They actually feel lighter when jogging as the audio cable isn't bouncing up and down pulling on my ears like the wired SoundSports do. Bose claims that these get 6 hours of use out of a single charge and that's about accurate. I normally get 6 hours and 10-15 minutes before they die out. There are voice prompts whenever you turn the earbuds on letting you know how full the battery is. iOS users can also monitor the earbud's battery level through the iOS top dock (there's a small battery icon). Bose also released an iOS and Android app that let's you rename the earbuds, manage the devices that they are connected to, adjust their volume, monitor the battery level, and even update their firmware (the app will be updated with this feature later). It's a nifty app but I really only used it once to rename my earbuds and that has been it. Bluetooth range is solid and I have not experienced any dropouts with my iPhone, iPad Air 2, or MacBook Pro. I normally select music on my iPhone, turn off the screen, put it in my pocket, and never take my phone out until I'm done. I've used a lot of Bluetooth headphones and earbuds that will lose the connection to my phone when it's in my pocket or have slight dropouts whenever my Apple Watch comes is between the two (as it would be on my left wrist with my phone in my left pocket). Not these though, they are solid. I'm even able to leave my phone in my desk drawer and walk to the back of my lab (about 25 ft away) and still listen to music. The in-line remote works like every other in-line remote for Apple devices. There's volume up and down buttons, the middle multi-function button plays/pauses music, can be used to fast forward or rewind, skip to the next track or play the previous one, and answer and hangup on calls. I've taken a couple of calls through these and nobody complained about not being able to hear me. Call quality was fine on my end, maybe a tad better than the wired SoundSport earbuds but I'm not sure if I would really notice a difference. My complaints are minor at this point. I wish the battery life was longer though I've experienced earbuds with much shorter battery lives (3-4 hours). Their 6-hour time is pretty average for earbuds in this category but at least it's accurate. The carrying case that includes a charging battery is expensive but I highly recommend it if you listen to music a lot everyday. I like the black and blue color (more than the standard black) but I was hoping that Bose would release these in more colors (they are releasing white and yellow but they look awful, the red and black are more expensive as they have a heart-rate monitor). Lastly, the buttons for the in-line remote are more squishy compared to the more tactile-feeling buttons of the wired SoundSport earbuds. Those are all really minor though. These are above and beyond the most comfortable wireless earbuds I have used that are able to stay secure. I've used them in the rain and they've survived so they are very durable and live up to Bose's claims of being weather resistant. Their Bluetooth range is great, they are easy to pair and use, and their sound quality has improved over the wired editions. They aren't quite as loud as the older wired ones and are a bit heavier but that's about it. Anyone looking to upgrade their SoundSport earbuds to wireless models or people wanting a pair of Bluetooth earbuds for general everyday or exercising purposes should definitely consider these. I've gone through multiple models from different brands and returned them all. I'll definitely be keeping these as my everyday, go-to earbuds.

I had formerly purchased several pairs of Beats wireless/Bluetooth earphones. While the sound is a less to my liking in the Bose, everything else is great. The battery lasts nearly twice as long between charges. The earphones sit more comfortably in my ears, also feel liter. The noise cancellation seems far superior. And most important (other than sound) the build is much sturdier and made for active use. I broke 3 of my prior earphones in the exact same spot due to frail construction (and me being clumsy at the gym), but Bose design doesn’t have a week spot. Assuming these hold up for at least the 6 months my Beats used to I will be a return customer.

I received the Bose Soundsport wireless 3 weeks ago. Packaging was clean and high quality as expected from Bose. The look is appealing, I like the black and gray. They are a bit bigger than I’d like from a headset, but not awful by any means. I know these are designed for working out hence the clip and the wire. I would prefer no wire. The wire has a volume control on the right side with a speaker so you can talk on your phone which was pretty awesome! The person I used the phone feature with said he could hear me clear and crisp when using this. For the sake of this review I compared these to 2 other brands, Apple wired and Samsung wired. Using iPhone XS Max and 11 pro. The Bose were 100% better in every aspect and most importantly the sound. Sound was crisp, bass was deep and smooth. The sound was so good it kind of transports you into another sense of reality. It is so relaxing and outstanding. I hear nothing in the background with these on. I turn the volume on high and it is buttery smooth, there is no squinting from harsh sound, no distortion at all. These came with three sizes of tips for your ears, being someone that has always had issues with buds staying in my ears, these have never fallen out. The tips are soft and come with an extra appendage to keep them secure in your ears. This feature alone has encouraged more use in this headset, I don’t have to be careful they actually stay put! I use them once a day for about an hour each time and only needed to charge them once. I like the fact they are rechargeable, and fast charging, 2 hours. The carrying case is average. The case has a nice belt clip on it though, sturdy so you don’t lose it. These come with a USB charging cable, a bit short but pretty universal so you can use other charges if needed. The quick setup guide wasn’t needed as it was very easy to pair these with my phone. These can pair with multiple devices. I downloaded the Bose app and this was pretty awesome, mostly because within the app you can put location services on the headset in case you lose it. Pretty awesome. Overall I rate these 5 stars. Definitely what I expected from Bose. Very trustworthy and reliable brand. Highly recommend you buy these especially now they are only $99! Worth every penny!

PROs + Sound quality: Obviously, as you would expect from Bose, sound quality is superb. Bass is deep and rich, while mids and highs come through crystal clear. The earbuds are also "noise-cancelling" and help conceal the sounds around you, allowing you to focus on the music. While these earbuds are marketed for working out, I find myself enjoying the rich sound around the house and at the office. + Easy controls: A simple tap of the power button the right earbuds bring the the SoundSports to life. A pleasant female voice announces the battery level and the device the earbuds are connected to. Hold the button down for a second to turn the earbuds off. The inline remote allows you to adjust the volume with the top and bottom bottoms, while a single press of the middle button plays and pauses your music. Holding down the middle button summons Siri on my iPhone. And similar to Apple Earpods, double-clicking the middle button skips forward a track while triple-clicking the middle button rewinds a track. + Ear stabilizers: The included earbud tips come in small, medium and large. The small, soft "wings" fit comfortably within the folds of your ear to help keep them in place while you workout. + Clip: You can tie up the extra slack in the wire by using the included clip. This allows you fit the cord up against your head comfortably to prevent the inline remove from flopping around while you're working out. + App enabled: You can install the Bose Connect app on your smartphone that allows you to set the language, name, and auto-off time period. However, there are no sound quality adjustments available in the app at this time, but this may be because many smartphones already include sound adjustments in the phone's settings. + Range: I had my phone sitting in the middle of my 1st floor and was able to get about 20-30 feet away from it on the 2nd floor with minimal breakups. CONs - Extended wear: While the earbuds are comfortable, after about an hour I noticed that my ears felt like they needed to "pop" by yawning, similar to when you climb altitude on an airplane. My ears also started to feel fatigued by the weight of the earbuds. So while these earbuds would be ideal for a 30-60 minutes run or gym routine, you may not find them ideal for extended wear while at work. - Running: The earbuds do a fairly good job of staying in place while running, but I did notice that the sweatier I got, the more these earbuds wanted to slide around my ear and eventually work loose. Thankfully, with the ear stabilizers, you do have plenty of time to gently push the earbuds back in before they work loose completely. For more intense workouts like CrossFit, you may find they come loose more frequently. Overall, the Bose SoundSport earbuds provide excellent sound quality and easy to use controls. While they may not be perfect for intense workouts, they are still ideal for running, the elliptical, or even doing chores around the house.

I absolutely love these headphones. I work out every day, so headphones are essential! Whether it be biking, running, weight training etc., these headphones stay put! Not once have they fallen out. This has been my problem with every pair of headphones prior. Not only do they stay in, but they also are comfortable! They do not ever hurt my ears, and I have my tragus pierced! Besides the awesome fit and comfort of the headphones, Bose comes through as usual with the great sound quality. I only have to charge them once, maybe twice a week, and they charge super fast. Worth every penny.

Love the SoundSport wireless headphones!! I got a special chance to try the SoundSport wireless headphones. Myself and boys have loved them. Starting with the nice package and the carry case with clip to clip on my purse or their belt loop so we don't loose them! It's not big and bulky and that's wonderful. They came already charged some and that's nice so we could try right away without waiting for full charge. U know how impatient teenage boys can be! At full charge we could use around 6 straight hours or so. And didn't take very long to get back to a full charge. They r easy to learn to use. My 6 year old learned real fast how to turn them on and listen to his iPad. Connecting to the different devices was easy and nice when u turn them on tells u which device connected to and how much battery life was left. The three different size ear bud pieces where very nice and soft. They fit in nice and where easy to change from my ears to my younger son with the smaller ones. The design and material was nicely mad and comfortable. The clip on back was nice to make sure my smaller child didn't loose them when using and they didn't fall out of ears when using. The sound was clear and great. Loud but not over loud. Was nice to jam out and not have the bass and all over power the words. When hooked up to my phone I liked it would pause the music tell me who was calling and give me the option to answer on earbuds or phone. And when done with call could restart music easy. My boys even love them to use while talking to their friends while playing their games together! And I liked that I couldn't hear the sound coming from them. Unlike some earbuds that u can hear everything going on. Overall I was very satisfied with all the easy features and would recommend to all my family and friends! They are well worth the price!! Now that my boys have tried them they all want them! We all love them and have to take turns using lol

I've gone through quite a few pairs of wireless earbuds to find just the right ones. Models from JBL, Beats, Jaybird (including their new Freedom F5 earbuds), Sony, Samsung, and LG just never worked for me. They either relied on uncomfortable wing ear tips that would only push the actual ear tips into the sides of my ear canal (Jaybird), rely on ear clips that wouldn't actually clip the earbuds on (Beats), or use ear tips that didn't hold the earbuds in and they would just pop out after a minute or two (the rest). Bose has really nailed the comfort factor with these. The earbuds may not look the best and they definitely aren't the sleekest option but I can wear them for hours without having to adjust the earbuds or take them out. They also don't fall out and I never have to adjust them while wearing. That's a huge feat for me as no other company has provided wireless earbuds that can do that. Their sound signature is also great. Out of all the earbuds I tested, I preferred the Jaybird Freedom F5 earbuds as I could use Jaybird's app to make my own EQ. The Bose sound just like the Jaybird's whenever I tuned them but they have a wider sound stage. There is actual instrument separation with the drums, guitars, hi-hats, etc. that isn't there with other earbuds. I usually get about 6-7 hours of battery life with these which is what Bose promises. I haven't had any issues getting these wet, they really are sweat and weather resistant. Some people have had issues with their earbuds not working after they are done with an exercise regiment but Bose found the issue (these people were sweating profusely) and has corrected it with newer models. They are also replacing any older earbuds whether people have experienced the problem or not. These are the best wireless earbuds to hit the market. They are comfortable, stay in, offer sweat resistance, and sound great. The wire connecting the two earbuds is just the right length and it doesn't bounce around or pull on the earbuds. Bose even included a small clip just in case the wire bothers you, the clip lets you secure the wire to your shirt collar. I've worn these with regular t-shirts as well as shirts with collars and the wire is still fine. I definitely recommend these headphones if you want the best wireless earbud experience. You can't wear them with a helmet and they do protrude from your ears more than other wireless earbuds but those are small prices to pay for quality earbuds like this. Lastly, these earbuds are priced just right. $50 less than competing Jaybird models and they are in the same price range as Powerbeats 2 when they're on sale. $150 well worth it.

The design of the packaging was simple yet refined. One way to describe it is like unboxing an Apple product. It seems modern and sleek and just a pleasure to unwrap to see what treasure lies beneath. The packaging wasn’t cumbersome; you did not have to untie a million plastic/metal ties or separate plastic to unleash the awaiting prize. The package included the ear phones, a set of small and large ear tips to go with the medium ones already on the device along with a carrying case. At first glance these Bluetooth wireless buds looked to be bulky to include the in-line mic/volume device and heavy like a pair of cheap knockoffs I had previously ordered off of Amazon. One note on the knockoff QY7’s is that the sound quality and battery life were really not that bad, especially for the very little money that they were purchased for. The QY7’s felt bulky, heavy and made my ears hurt and feel tired after about 30 min. I picked them up and surprisingly they felt very light albeit still bulky comparted to the Jaybird Bluebuds that I have and use as well. I left the original size medium ear tips on and placed them into my ears. They are the MOST COMFORTABLE ear buds that I have ever worn. I have used these for 2 months now. I work out 6-7 days a week doing Crossfit and training for marathons. So, I can say that I have spent many hours a week with these in my ears and they have never given me that hurting or “heavy” feeling all the other Bluetooth earbuds have in the past. On caveat that is a drawback for me is that when I work out especially in the winter; I wear a microfiber beanie hat. With these in my ears the bulkiness of them becomes a drawback leading to uncomfortableness from size if these pushing on my inner ear from the beanie. I have the Jaybirds that have a smaller form factor and do not do this when I wear the beanie. I also want to note that these NEVER fall out of my ears and I NEVER have to readjust them during exercise which is a HUGE plus for me. Just a side note; the apple earbuds DO NOT stay in my ears at all!! I have to mess with them the whole time when exercising, in fact, if they are the only ones in my gym bag I go WITHOUT!! The material seems to be hard plastic and soft rubbery plastic that overall feels top end and has given me no issues thus far. I sweat profusely and have had no issues with sweat altering the performance of these headphones. The added clip to attach them to your shirt seems to work as intended but for me most of the time it pulls from the wire and stays on my shirt if I do not get a good grip on the actual clip. The in-line mic and volume button has worked flawlessly for me to this point. The negative for is that it is extremely bulky as if there were a separate battery stored in there or something. I find that because of its size and heaviness it swings back and forth when I run and it can get super annoying on long runs. I don’t really notice it when doing Crossfit or lifting. The structure has held up fine with no malfunctioning parts or rips or tears as of yet. The reported sound quality of the mic from people that I have called has seemed to be good even when I am running or in the car with windows down. Connecting these headphones to my devices was easy and painless. You can be connected to 2 devices at one time which is pretty cool. The other plus for me is that the range is outstanding. When in the gym this is awesome thing. It makes it so I don’t have to take my phone around the gym with me. I have a gym with a track around it and I can go do a lap and come back and never lose a connection. I bet it is over a 100ft away at the far end of the track. The battery life is probably on the low end of average. You would think with the size of the earbuds and in-line mice with volume controls it would be at least 8 hours if not 10. I can almost get 4 days out of one charge, if I don’t watch Netflix or anything like that at night. One feature on the battery is that when you turn them on they have a voice that tells you how much battery life you have remaining and it is always rounded to the nearest 10%. So, if you actually had 96% battery life it would say; you have 90% battery life remaining. To some it may not be annoying but for me I want to know exactly. Sound quality is as to be expected by Bose. It is very clear and even feeling. The highs are not too high and mids are perfectly balanced and the base is not super bassy (is that even a word). I think that someone that likes a lot of bass might be disappointed but for me it is perfect. A couple things to note is that these are not noise cancelling and are not marketed to be. These seem to have the perfect balance of passive noise meaning that when I’m running I am totally immersed into the music but when a car comes near I can still hear it. Which I find amazing!! Another thing to note is that the volume doesn’t get overly loud. What I mean by that is that it does get loud but you cannot make it SUPER loud, like it has a limit or cap on how loud you can make it. For me it seems to be just ok but I would like to have the option to make it a little louder. One last thing on sound I would like to mention is that when I’m home relaxing and I watch TV on my Ipad with my children running around I like to leave one earphone out so I can make sure I can hear everything in the house incase I’m needed. So, with that said with one earphone in the Bose experience diminishes and is less than average on the sound quality. There is some kind of “magic” that happens when both ear pieces are in but with only one the “magic” is simply gone. Conclusions: Finally, Bose has entered the sporty Bluetooth headphone world!! Overall not bad but Bose has a lot of work to do especially at this price point. Almost wish I would have waited for the second version. The Good: Probably the best pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones I own. The sound is amazing. Fits and stays in my ear. Super easy to pair with my other devices. The Bluetooth range is outstanding. Super lightweight although looks bulky. The Bad: The price is on the high side for what you get compared to the current competition. Not so comfortable when wearing a beanie hat. Super bulky ear pieces and in-line mic. With only one earpiece in the sound is not that great! The Bose app really doesn’t really do anything. The battery life is marginal for this price point.

I have purchased these headphones numerous times because they are THAT GOOD. They fit comfortably in my ear. They last a long time between charges (I use them intermittently throughout the day for long sessions and charge them every 2-3 days). When they do run out of battery, i can charge them for 30 minutes and have about 50 percent battery life which lasts me the whole day and more. I use them to run and workout and they always stay in my ear. I like that I can dangle them around my neck when not in use. Other headphones I have tried seem to break more frequently than these. They are great quality and come with a carrying case.

$130 and they are falling apart a little over a year later. Bought these in March 2021 and by August 2022 the button is falling out and the wires are coming apart.
