But these for mountain biking and I find that they are fairly snug fit. Problem is it’s not a perfect fit and after about an hour writing I do notice that they make my inside of the ear sore. I bet they can improve the fit and make these a great headset.

The depth they need to go into the ear and the bulky size, however, make them less than desirable for my purposes. I will be exchanging them and going back to the Apple ear bud.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed the sound quality of the product but am disappointed to hear you had issues with the fit. The StayHear tips are not designed to be inserted deep into the ear canal. You should find a tip that has a 'shark-fin' that fits the ear shape well, and allows the 'cone' to form a soft comfortable seal on the outer-canal.
If you still have the headphones, please try using the different sizes of tips provided in the box. Remember, not all ears are symmetrical, so you could potentially (for example) need a small in one ear, and a medium in the other. Give it a try, you may be surprised!
