Outside or anywhere with moderate noise they are almost impossible to hear without maximum volume. Took them back for a different brand. Disappointed with Bose on this but I guess it may be because it's the lower tier product?

It's great to hear you were impressed by the sound quality of the SoundSport Wireless headphones, but I'm sorry to learn you had problems with the maximum volume levels.
I understand you have returned the headphones now, but be assured that finding the best fit with the StayHear tips can have a major positive impact on the volume level. If you take a chance on them again in the future, be sure to try the different sizes to see how the volume is affected.

Talked to Bose, they replaced them with new pair on 9/20/17. It is Nov 6 and the second set only holds charge for 10 minutes. As soon as I take off the charger and turn on it drops down to 70%. Very disappointed. Not Bose quality at all.
