Two days after owning this, I was out riding on a 10 mile ride. Worked fine half way out. However, on the way back the sound began drifting in and out and the controls would work intermittently. I am assuming that they aren't actually sweat resistant. I called Best Buy to exchange them and all stores within 250 miles are out. Now what? I have a set of earphones that work when and if they want to, and I can't find anywhere to exchange them. I am 59 years old and have owned many Bose products. Not sure what happened here. Guess now I will have to call Bose.

We set out to make your workouts better, and engineered the SoundSport wireless headphones to be stable and comfortable, sweat and weather resistant, with amazing sound.
For the vast majority of owners, the SoundSport wireless is delivering on its promise. But a small percentage of customers -- like you -- have experienced a problem. And that's not okay. We took every headphone returned to us, went back to our labs, and got to the bottom of it.
We found that SoundSport doesn't perform like it should under specific conditions related to more extreme levels of sweat and moisture. And we now have a solution to make it work just as well for those customers, too. Going forward, every SoundSport wireless headphone will include this update, and they'll be ready by the end of August. Since you've had this issue, you're our priority. A new SoundSport wireless will be reserved for you, and sent free of charge.

The battery level voice prompt uses an algorithm to calculate the remaining charge, however this is only an estimate. Due to the variable charge in a Lithium-ion power cell, it is accurate to +/- 10%. If your headphones are reporting a 90% charge, they are within that tolerance. If, after a little more time, they start to report something outside of that or that they are fully charged after only a few minutes connected to power, for example, then there may be a problem with the battery. I had it paired to an iPhone. the headphones make calls way to easy if you push the button accidently on the earbud(when putting into ear). now, I only use it on my tablet and ipod . I get a better sound from my jaybird x2s.

Had to return them, but they fit great, and same great Bose sound, but useless if I leave my phone on the ground while I workout. Was using an IPhone 6s. I'd wait till the next generation.

I would suggest making sure that the device firmware us up to date, this can be done via the app, and that the sound on the device you are using is turned up to at least 80% to ensure maximum sound quality. Expecting more from Bose

I tried the different size ear tips but none were comfortable. The medium size was "best" fit however I can only tolerate them for 30-45 mins before it begins to hurt.

The wire also has a lot of friction so turning my head often pulls the earbuds from my ears due to the friction of the wire against my shirt or neck.

I've since taken the ipod and placed it on my right arm and the crackling goes away. I don't think I should have to change where I wear my ipod for the buds to work.
