I thought the range would be better. They work awesome! The battery life is not great, but they charge very quickly. I guess I expected more for the price and from the brand.

Usually I love Bose brand headsets...but this was just a dissapointment...not what I expected. Not worth the price in my opinion. Too big and clunky in the ear, I felt it was too much.

These Bose Soundsport wireless headphones really impressed me. They were ready to go right out of the box and simple to pair-up with my smart phone. Just turn on the headphones and turn on your phone's bluetooth- it immediately identifies and pairs up with the headphones. I'm a runner and have always had problems with earbuds falling out of my ears while running so I was concerned I might have that problem with these but that was not the case- when inserted correctly they stay in place - I completed a 5k run without either one falling out and it was nice for once not having to worry about a wire to my phone flopping around or breaking off at the pin connection. And lastly of course from Bose you expect great sound and I wasn't disappointed. These are definitely the way to go.

They work great but lack in volume and are big and bulky. It would be nice if you could upload different types of music presets to them.

the sound quality is not like other Bose products and they do not stay in your ears. The little triangle piece of silicone is absolutely worthless.

Great Active Use Multitasking Wireless Headphone

    Posted .

I needed a wireless set of earbuds for cord-free everyday multi-tasking use: dog walking, biking, phone calls, grocery shopping, etc. Frequently doing two of these at once. I wanted something that was durable, great sound, decent battery life and won’t fall out. I purchased a set of the B&O H5 since I already had the H7s and I love the fit, quality and sound of those for working and flying. To my dismay, the H5 fit is solely based on the earpiece fitting and maintaining grip in your ear canal. The problem with this was the weight of the buds would pull the buds out of my ear no matter which size ear-tips I tried. I also considered the Apple Air Pods since the size seemed right and I like the easy everyday fit of those. But, the availability issues, lack of connecting cord (instant loss) and strange looks deterred me from that option. I purchased the Soundsports last week and have been quite happy that it meets the criteria that the others failed on. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Fit is comfortable and the twist/lock into my ear is 100% secure - Neck cord isn’t too heavy or drag and tug on the earbuds - Sound is balanced and excellent for an active headphone - Open isolation so I can still hear what’s happening around me. Very critical. - Ear-tip fit/twist lock – The ear tip doesn’t go in the canal, more comfort over time - Durable so far - Even with the mass of headphone sticking out, it is light and unnoticeable - 6 hours battery for its size is not bad at all Cons: - Weight hanging around neck when not in use - Lack of magnets to connect headphones when hanging around neck - A bit bulky, but acceptable - Plug in charging not as convenient as magnetic charging - Not as convenient to put in or remove as Air Pods (nitpick) - Unlike the Air Pods, strangely enough, the charging case costs an additional $50 making the set $200 I’ll have to see how these hold up over time. I bought without coverage but may go back and get the 2 year replacement since there are things that could go wrong with these in 2 years’ time. Overall, not bad and serves my purpose. Recommended for active multitasking cord free use.

We noticed your review and wanted to follow-up to provide some additional information.

We set out to make your workouts better, and engineered the SoundSport wireless headphones to be stable and comfortable, sweat and weather resistant, with amazing sound.
For the vast majority of owners, the SoundSport wireless is delivering on its promise. But a small percentage of customers -- like you -- have experienced a problem. And that's not okay. We took every headphone returned to us, went back to our labs, and got to the bottom of it.

We found that SoundSport doesn't perform like it should under specific conditions related to more extreme levels of sweat and moisture. And we now have a solution to make it work just as well for those customers, too. Going forward, every SoundSport wireless headphone will include this update, and they'll be ready by the end of August. Since you've had this issue, you're our priority. A new SoundSport wireless will be reserved for you, and sent free of charge.

Please call us at 1-800-819-7032 or email us at review_support@bose.com and we’ll do the rest. Bose

    Great wireless headphones

I bought these because I got tired of wires getting tangled or caught on things. I've used these about 4 times now for a couple hours straight while being out in the sun doing yard work. As someone who sweats easily, I can say these are truly sweat proof. I also use these when I'm mowing lawns and while they don't have noise cancellation, they do provide some noise isolation. It's nice to drown out at least some of the mower noise and be able to focus on my music more easily. Sound wise, these are pretty good especially considering they are wireless. You do have to turn the volume up a bit to really get into some songs but everything still sounds great and not like it's trying to destroy your eardrums. These are my first wireless headphones so I don't know how they compare to other brands. I have found that these give you a little bit of everything: music sounds clear, noise isolation, sweat/water resistant, good bass that isn't overwhelming, battery life is pretty good and they are very comfortable for long periods of time. My only complaints so far would be that they are a bit on the pricey side and I find that they do pause sometimes. I got them for $130 (currently on sale for $115 though). I had a gift card at the time and I have been pleased with most of Bose's products I previously purchased so I decided to give these a shot. As for pausing sometimes, I have found that while mowing lawns, they are paired to my iPod touch which stays in my pocket the whole time, there is occasionally a pause or freeze in a song while it's playing. I don't know if it's the fault of the headphones or the iPod, but I didn't notice that problem when using the in-ear wired ear pods apple provided with the iPod touch. My leg does make contact with the iPod while I'm walking behind my mower so I guess that could occasionally cause a song to freeze for a second. Anyway, it has only happened a few times and it lasts literally a second before going back to normal. If it happened much more often or froze for a much longer period of time, I would return them. Fortunately, this is not the case.

Bose makes great products, however, be sure you check the fit on the earbuds. I could not get any of them to stay in my ear. I had to return them. Otherwise, a quality product.

Hi there, I am sorry to hear your headphones were to big for you. In the box, we include 3 different size ear tips. I would recommend trying them all to get the best fit, as I am sure this will help. It is not uncommon to need a different step in each ear.
