Let's just say I grew up using bose products when I purchased my first pair of headphones it was for medical reasons, to monitor my heart rate. That was a feature with the black & red ones which I traded in due to the wear and tear only to find out those discontinued so I traded them in for the grey and neon yellow ones.. It's been over 4yrs and we're still hanging in there.

I'm a jaybird man. I've had every pair they have made, but I was having issues with the X3 version. I replaced with the Beats 3. They were good, but the neck strap was extremely uncomfortable. I replaced with the Bose and could not be happier. Great battery life, excellent bluetooth connection, and the neck cord is comfortable. The music sounds clear and plenty of base. Also, the earbuds themselves are secure and surprisingly comfortable. I would highly recommend the Bose.

Make no mistake. These Head Phones are amazing. I am huge on sound quality. These things sound every bit as good as the wired Sound Sport if not better. Comfortable to wear as well. Bose put out a very high quality product again. A little bigger than other earbuds but feel no different and they stay in place perfectly. Dont listen to any negative reviews. Just get them and see for yourself.

    Great Headphones

I own several bose products and they all have performed amazingly well. No regrets or issues whatsoever. When these wireless headphones came on the market I read the reviews so i decided to buy available set. They worked similarly to the wired version: same commands, quality sound, great fit with different size ear buds. I've tried other, similarly priced, wireless in - ear headphones. But my Bose Soundsport Wireless headphones are the best ones I've owned, thus far.

    Fail during intense workouts

As an upfront caveat, it is possible I just happened to purchase a defective set. However, I do not believe this is the case and will be returning them to look for something else. Background: I purchased the Bose SoundSport Wireless headphones online and picked them up at a local store. I wanted a set of headphones I could workout in and not have to worry about threading wires under my clothes. I based my purchase decision based mostly on a review published by CNET.com (http://www.cnet.com/products/bose-soundsport-wireless/). I paired the headphones (easily) to my iPod Nano 7 and iPhone 6. I took them with me on three workouts: 12 mile bike ride, 4 mile run, and a 20 mile bike ride. These workouts occurred in 90+ degree weather with significant humidity. Issue 1 – volume: In each case I had to turn the volume all the way up on both device and headphones (really the same thing, but I tried both out of frustration). I could barely hear the audio when with a slight wind when I was coasting on a bike. When I got some speed downhill, I could not hear anything except the rush of the wind. Running it was slightly better, except for the skipping. Issue 2 – skipping: This happened infrequently during the bike rides, but when I took them on a run the audio kept phasing in and out with my footfalls. I initially had the connecting cord behind my neck (frequent to constant skipping), then switched it to the front (occasional periods of skipping). Only two things made the skipping cease: completely stopping / walking, or taking the right earpiece out and holding onto it (not ideal for running). The right earpiece is where the Bluetooth connects, and also the location of the volume controls. Clearly, the impact of my running was jolting the controls and causing the audio to skip. Issue 3 – crackling / moisture: This only occurred on my longer bike ride. It was ~100 degrees out with humidity. I was sweating… a lot. About 6 miles into my ride the left earpiece began emitting a crackling / loud static sound. Initially I thought it was a connection issue, but when I removed the earpiece and blew inside it (to remove moisture) the crackling stopped for a short while. I had to do this eight times over the next 14 miles. In each case, blowing inside the earpiece would temporarily relieve the crackling. It would seem these earphones are just not meant for someone who sweats as much as I do. Positives – While slightly bulky looking, the earphones stayed in my ear very well (despite the sweat). The sound quality is excellent when you are stationary or walking. They are also very easy to pair with any device. Reason I am returning them: I purchased these with the intent of using them on workouts. However, it would seem (from my experience) they are not built for anything more intense than a brisk walk. I need a pair of headphones that will hold up when I am drenched in sweat and in constant motion. These are not that pair. I know Bose makes outstanding audio products. These, however, need some work. They would be great for relaxing cord-free, but that was not what I needed them for.

Hello Scott, Thank you for your very thorough review and for sharing your disappointing experience. For the majority of customers, the SoundSport wireless is delivering on its promise – it’s a headphone that’s stable and comfortable, sweat and weather resistant, with amazing sound. But, like you, a small percentage of owners have experienced a problem, and that’s not okay.
We’ve taken every headphone returned to us and analyzed them in our labs to get to the bottom of the issue. We discovered SoundSport wireless doesn't perform like it should under specific conditions related to heavy sweat and moisture. And we now have a solution to make it work just as well in these situations, too.
Going forward, every SoundSport wireless will include this update, and they’ll be ready by the end of August if you’re interested in trying them again. Our support team can answer any questions you may about the product. They can be reached at 1-800-379-2073 Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 8:00PM (EST) Bose

I was looking for some ear phones that have good quality that were also bluetooth for when I ride my motorcycle and I saw these and they caught my eye. I know that Bose is a big and reputable company so I thought I'd give these a try. Once i purchased them, I realized that they were waaaaaayy to big to ever fit inside my motorcycle helmet. So I decided to make these my workout earphones and they perform excellent!! Definitely recommend for everyday use!!!

    Amazing Wireless Headphones

Apple, Samsung, Sony... I have bought headphones from all previous brands and never had I had such an amazing fit. All the other headphones I had bought always fell and never felt snug on my ears. Not these, I just went on my first run with them (3.5 miles) and at no point did I feel like they were gonna fall even with all the sweat. The sound quality is excellent, as one should expect from any Bose product. Best purchase I've made this year by far!

If you're buying them for casual listening - you'll be very happy. If you're buying them for working out in a gym - you'll be satisfied... If you're buying them for running or SPORT - look elsewhere. I've owned Bose for years now. Now that wireless is here, I was among everyone else who joined the bandwagon and gave them a try. The biggest complaint is that you MUST fit them in your ear PERFECTLY to get the loud-ish sound. Unlike the Apple EarPods that come with your iPhone, you have to - 1. Look at the design 2. Fit 3. Try again 4. Use a smaller/bigger ear peace (which they come with a small, medium and large) and then - and only then - will you experience quality. Bose got to 89% of the design and just stopped. It should have been released as a more thought out and robustly tested headset. It could be louder and defiantly could have been more resistant to everyday spontaneous conditions. I'm only keeping them because I hate the Apple EarPods, but I'd be willing to return them in a heartbeat if someone else had a more welcoming devise.

These Bose earbuds have excellent sound quality. They are easy to operate right out of the box. They are also very comfortable. With previous earbuds, I had to jam them deep in my ear to get good sound. These sit just outside the ear canal which is much more comfortable. Great product for a good price.

I love to listen to music while I am runnning but, I hated getting tangled in the cords to my phone. Just recently got the Boise SoundSport wireless headphones and just love them. It was so easy to sink them to my phone. They are so comfortable I forget I have them in and get lost in the music while I am running. The sound quality is great and blocks out . I Would highly recommend them to anyone who has an active lifestyle

I have purchased multiple ear/head phones and always wanted a pair of Bose.. the soundsports are comfortable they look nice sound quality is good the only down fall for me would be the volume not loud enough.. I always have 2-3 ear/head phones in my gym bag (beats-sol rep-Lg) I would've never though to have($150.00) Bose as a back up :-( instead of my main ear phones..

These headphones are amazing. They look bulky but they are absurdly comfortably. The way they fit and feel is like a dream. The sound is incredible. They aren't nose canceling but I don't hear a thing around me while they are at high volume. I love the little carry case they came with... clipped it right to my keychain. This is the first pair of headphones I've ever had that I actually liked. Way to go, Bose.

I've purchased many Bose products over the past 15+ years and so far am very pleased with Bose's wireless sport headphones. After some research the deciding factor for me was the Bose name. Sound quality is better than the other wired earphones I've used but below that of the over the ear models. Too soon to confirm the good fit will hold up to running and sweat. Overall I'm happy with the purchase but feel they are pricey.

    No Wind Where Bose Is?

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Bose SoundSport headphones have wonderful sound. Easy to use. But if it's windy where you run, you may want to consider another, lower profile option. I was running into a 15+ mph wind today. Because the earphones stuck out from my ears, the wind noise was so pronounced it completely overwhelmed the music and I had to pull them out of my ears (well, the left phone was actually blown out by the wind). On the return of my out-and-back run, I had no problem with the sound in the tail wind.

    Almost Perfect

I received the SoundSport Wireless headphones in exchange for an honest review. When I received them, they came with a nice little carrying case and they were fully charged. When I put them on, they felt really uncomfortable, so I watched a YouTube video to learn how to put them in correctly. Afterwards, I couldn't even feel them in my ears. You have to look closely for the L and R and for the place to put the USB cord in order to charge it. I did however like the fact that when you turn them on it tells you what percentage the battery is and right before the battery dies you hear a beeping sound. You can connect up to 2 devices at the same time and it tells you which devices you are connected to. There is also an app you can download that tells you which ones you are connected to and you can turn them off through the app. They only take a few hours to fully charge. I went a week without charging mine and when I turned them on after not using them for a few days, they were at 30%, which still lasted for about 2 days. There were a few times that I had to turn them off and turn them back on because the sound was distorted, but that fixed the problem. If it wasn't for that, I would be giving these 5 stars.

So upon my initial review of these headphones, I was taken back by the poor reviews it received for being bulky (I dont think they are), irritating (not so much), and Im still not able to understand these reviews. I love these headphones. I think they work EXTREMELY WELL and do everything they are supposed to. Now on to my review. For the record, I have 2 cell phones (1 for work Motorola XT1080, and 1 personal-S7 Edge) I was VERY disappointed to begin with when I hooked these headphones up to my personal phone and heard crackling. So disappointed, I called Bose 30 minutes after my purchase. Well after some use of my husbands phone (LG V20), my work phone and my personal I have found that my personal phone bluetooth interface leaves a lot to be desired. Low volume these are great headphones but when I need to focus and not be distracted, I turn them up and hear crackling. Over the course of the last few weeks, I have just started to ignore the crackling. There are some days I cant ignore this noise. So I connect to me work phone and all is right in the world of music. As far as the bulky aspect, I wear these every morning to do HIIT workouts. They stay put, I never struggle with cords or anything distracting me from the focus of killing my workout. They are comfortable and cancel out almost all noise.

When it comes to premium quality sound, Bose knows how to make it. I've owned Bose wired Sport earbuds which I loved. I have Bose theater speakers as well. Bose has earned my trust in their quality. When these came out, I didn't hesitate to buy them. I've been wanting wireless earbuds. These are great. Can connect to two devices at the same time. Highly recommend them!
