    I had a corded Bose set, but due to the fact I had a Motorola phone it was not compatible. I took it back and bought these. The guy explained to me that these would work no matter the phone thanks to the Bose Connect App. At first that was true, calls were clear and came through without problem. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my problem, but the app updated to a newer version that showed you could share music with other bluetooth Bose. Since that point I have not been able to answer all calls through the headphones. Also the Connect app requires location to be on which causes the phone to use more battery. I give it 2 stars for how good it sounds when I listed to books, but can only get it to work right with those by using Google Play instead of any other media player. Overall I would not recommend these headphones. It is a shame to have to listen through the headphones then answer a call with the phone itself. It does not even give you the option to use bluetooth when calling someone or answering a call. Wish I had stuck with the wired ones, at least I didn't have to hold the phone up to my head when on a call. I love my other Bose products, but wish I had never been talked into an "upgrade" that proved to be a serious downgrade.

    I have been a Bose consumer for over 30 years. I purchased these headphones, and was delighted with the sound quality and the wireless capability. However, within the first week, the left channel of the headphones began popping in and out, and then stopped working altogether. I returned them for a new pair, and within a week, they would not charge. I returned them for another new set, and these worked for almost 3 weeks. Then the left channel developed squealing, static, and the set beeped continuously. I went online to see about the availability of getting another set, and see that these are not available in the store or online. It says "coming soon". Am totally dissatisfied with this Bose product, and now I am not sure what to do, as it seems the product is not available. I would not recommend this product because, although the sound quality is fantastic, I think they should work longer that a week or so.

    I purchased a pair of these for myself at first and loved them, so I bought a pair for my wife. After about a year or so they crapped out on me, and my wife’s just crapped out on her. These are good headphones for the price if you plan on using them for occasional use for travel or something, but they’re advertised as workout headphones, and they are definitely NOT made for working out. Upon further investigation, I found out they’re not sweat/water-resistant/proof, which is kind of the point of workout headphones. Again, I did enjoy these, but they’re advertised as workout headphones and they are not made for that. Other cons include battery life (advertised as 5 hrs) which is the lowest advertised battery life I could find for wireless “workout”headphones. The battery also deteriorates much quicker than any other electronic piece of equipment I’ve seen. Finally, my power button randomly caved in and the rubber around the outside of the headphones that covers the power button stretched out and fell off. More cons than pros with this headphone, but still decent quality and sound, as long as you don’t workout with them.

    I have only ever owned Bose headphones, and specifically in-ear bud headphones and have had the wired ones for years. So I was upgrading to wireless and it came at a good time when Bose was just releasing their new wireless in-ear bud headphones. As most of you readers can tell, there are issues with the left ear bud going out after a few running evolutions. So I am not going to talk about that, but I will say, that these fit perfectly, they do not wobble, they do not slip, and they are not heavy. I was afraid at first because a Sony product of similar design sounded terrible while I ran. I could hear every foot fall and it completely masked the music. These sound great. So while, today I will be heading back to Best Buy to exchange for a new pair, I will keep on exchanging them until I get one that doesn't malfunction. They still are the best, and I am sure they will figure out left ear bud soon enough.

    As a Bose product, I expected so much more. Yes, the sound quality is great and the physical item itself is holding up well. However, it has many drawbacks. One is the charging is hit or miss and doesn't always fully charge, even when the light turns green to signify a full charge. I feel the battery life could be better too. When connecting to a call, it makes a really annoying high pitched ding. Also, when another call comes in when you're already on a call, the "lady" talks over you to say who is calling. A simple tone or alert would be sufficient. Instead, she says who is calling, and not their saved contact name, but the phone number that's calling. It's rather annoying. I really wanted to like these, but after 8 months of ownership, I don't. I will not purchase this item again.

    These had a really good quality sound and fit, and were working great at first. About a month and a half after I bought these, I was going on a bike ride and half way through they started to malfunction from sweating. I was very disappointed, as they were not cheap and I expected more from Bose. Everything I own speaker wise are Bose products, they are all great and is all I buy, but these just fell way short on there level of lasting quality they usually bring to the table.

      We found that SoundSport doesn't perform like it should under specific conditions related to more extreme levels of sweat and moisture. And we now have a solution to make it work just as well for those customers, too.     Stopped working before completing my first Run...

    April 2015 I bought BOSE SIE2 sport headphones. I enjoyed running with it . Recently one side of the headphone stopped working. So I was looking for some good upgrade. Last sunday bought this headphone and I used it for running next day...80% battery available when I started my run....30mins into my Run it stopped working....seriously bose ... I liked the sound, fit and comfort while running....but it should work to enjoy all those..$150 for 30mins use...????..just now returned these and got the BOSE soundsport wired version.....just went through reviews many reviewers experienced the same issue...Please fix this issue ....My first bose headphone was Bose QuietComfort 20...bought during dec 2014 and still working perfectly ... i was expecting something like this but it all went down in 30mins.... Please bose fix this issue

    Awsome Sound but don't resist sweat

    I got a set of this wireless head phones for workout use. I was very impressed for the quality in sound. For that size of head phones I think they are the ones that sound the best. I even liked them so much that I prefer to travel with them instead of my QC 25s. My QC25 they still sound lot better but for space in my backpack, the nice neoprene case with carabiner makes it easy to take them everywhere. Sadly the first time I used them after 20 minutes of running in the threadmill, it started to do things that I wasn't commanding like trying to ask Siri something. Or like if I was holding down a button. So I had to turn off the bluetooth connection from my phone. I waited for next day to see if they would work normally again and they did. So I took them with me on my next business trip and I was happy. Next time a went to they gym again after 15 minutes I heard a constant static on my left earpiece like a shortcut and then the volume just was going down like if I was holding the button to lower the volume. Then I tried to turn them off and the power button didn't work. I realized that the side that has the battery was overheating, so again I decided turn off the bluetooth in my phone. I liked them so much that I went to store to exchange them for new ones thinking that those first ones were only a bad set. My second set lasted longer, 2 weeks, the problems were only the static on the left earpiece. I had to return them and decided to not get another set. I think I'm going to wait until a newer model that replace this ones come out. Also I will wait to see what people talks about after a while. So if you are not going to use them for work out, and use them for traveling or for having a small set in briefcase, I would totally recommend them but otherwise I would think on another choice or wait till the next model is available.

    I wanted to love these, but.....

    I wanted to love these headphones but for the past couple of months I absolutely dislike the headphones. First I use headphones for listening to music and to be able to talk on the phone. As far as the headphones staying in place while moving around/ being active they stay put and while listening you barely hear any outside noise which is perfect. I dislike the headphones for being using while talking on the phone because of the feature of it reducing the surrounding sound it may appear as if you are talking louder than normal and I dont feel comfortable with having both plugs in my ear. It never stays charge, it feels like I use it for 2 hours and it requires me to charge the headphones again. I'm noticing I leave it unused because the battery consistently dies and I really dont like using it to talk on the phone. I tried the wired soundsport but those kept getting damaged if u yanked the cord wrong. Losing confidence in Bose headphones
