Even though this speaker is still working, the one I bought 2½ years ago has since died. I began to notice the power light wasn't as bright as the one on the newer. Then, while updating the speakers, which the software wants to do several time a year, it couldn't find the older speaker at first. It took several attempts to get it back online. The TuneIn app runs flawlessly on these speakers but the Spotify app became glitchy, with dropouts that made it un-listenable. Then one day, the pair wouldn't come on at all and I noticed no lights were showing on the older speaker. I've always had the speakers plugged into the same surge protector so I know it didn't get zapped. This speaker has great sound for its size but that's a lot of money to pay for something that only lasts 2½ years. Especially when you consider my $30 Coby brand computer speakers work fine after more than 5 years.

But the coolest part is broadcasting the aux-in record player hooked up to one of them to all speakers over WiFi perfectly. Bluetooth also works well and you can pair two of them to your tv for true stereo sound. We bought our first one at regular price and picked up the other two on Black Friday.
