I was hesitant to purchase this item at first since I was looking for a sound bar..but i took a chance and I said I’ll try it and just return it if I don’t like it...as soon as I heard the sound coming from this tiny speaker... I was sold... Bose is still one of the best if not the best sound speaker out there.. what I like about this is it doesn’t n’t take lot of space and the modern design is just perfect.. the sound is big and you would not expect it to come from this tiny speaker.. it was a well worth purchase

This Bose speaker is exactly what we were looking for to listen to music that we enjoy. We fine it easy to operate and like that we have choices to the music we want to listen to. We recommend the Bose to anyone interested in streaming music that they want to lusten to.

I needed something like this, and I read the reviews for Sonos and Samsung. I chose this low-end Bose due to price, mostly, but also due to built in wifi. I am very pleased. I use it to listen mostly to radio stations, and it works perfectly for all the Boston-area stations I listen to. All stations, rock, NPR, and sports talk, come through cleanly. I put it into a large kitchen (20 x 12 w/ 9 ft ceiling), and it's a bit under-powered. The audio is just fine, but it gets washed out at the other end of the room. I plan to move it to another room and buy one of the higher powered Bose units.

Bought for use in a home office. Wanted something compact that had nice sound and was easy to operate. This unit fits the bill nicely and I was able to buy open box on sale, which made it a great value. Sound is great. The ability to program some stations via wifi web app is a plus. My only wish/knock, is that unit had portability/battery power capability. I use the Soundtouch 10 mainly for playing music via iphone/ipad bluetooth in my office and it is great for my needs.

I needed something to let me listen to music in my office. My wife got me this speaker - it is perfect! Great sound, compact, easy set up

I have had other Bose products over the years and they are always great. We wanted to try something new that can link to apps and went this way with a single unit. amazing. I am going to get the 2nd unit to match up L and R audio next.

Sound Touch installed easily into my home wifi and sounds very nice. It plays my local I Heart radio station which I enjoy so that I have weather warnings before I head out. It also plays songs which I have stored in my media player.

I got this as a christmas present and i love it. It is super loud. The sounds are clear and i like the wifi features. Since december i became a bose fan

So from college (the early 90s), I knew the name Bose. I had a friend that was a professional musician and a Sound Engineer (owned his own Sound Engineering business). In the time I spent around him... one thing I took from him was "you can't go wrong with Bose" in terms of sound quality. He demonstrated the difference and though I cannot always articulate why, I can usually hear the difference in quality speakers as a result of having a Sound Engineer room mate. That said... this is a disappointing product as a Bose speaker. It's not bad... it's just average. I like some of the features of the remote as it fast forwards/ reverses selections from your input device and pause is pause to the source device not just a mute like comparable speakers. However, I have a smaller Phillips that is also water proof that has comparable sound quality. I tested not just myself (I had a friend swap speakers to see if I could tell and I could) while I asked that friend to do the same blind test. I preferred the Phillips in the blind test and she could not hear a distinctive difference (she is a musician so has more than a refined ear unlike myself). My point? I would recommend this with limitations on that recommendation. If it's on sale and you don't have any other small foot print speaker that meets your needs. It's not bad it's just not terrific nor up to par with other Bose products I own. I like the remote options and that it communicates directly with the source device and app (iPad and Samsung phone) which is a feature that might have had me keep it for my bathroom if I didn't already have the Philips since this was on sale.

Great device The relatively affordable Bose SoundLink is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker that sounds very good and plays loudly for its size.

While shopping for the SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth Speaker II it didn't quite fit our needs as it didn't have wifi. Lo & behold we found this SoundTouch and it was the only one left in the store. We took a chance and decided to follow our hunch. Cannot get enough of this speaker! You can set any radio station in the world to any of the preset stations and control the speaker from your iPhone or iMac using their Bose app. This is handy if you went to a different floor and don't like the song that is playing and are too lazy to go back upstairs to change it.

This smaller version of SoundTouch is ideal for average and smallish size rooms. It fills the air with the sound that is realistic and enjoyable. The unit is quite compact and amazing in that it out-performs any other similar wireless playback system using bluetooth or wifi streaming. Like its big brother systems it has presets for favorite internet sources and quickly picks up the link from your phone or iPad. It is well-worth its modest price when compared to other wireless players. The only drawback is in a very large room it is a little limited in speaker size, but is OK in a pinch. It has 2 big-brother systems that do a great job in these situations.

I own many home speaker systems both portable and built in and the Bose Sound Touch 10 can certainly match the sounds quality of the best of them and at a very affordable price. The ability to expand is a great bonus. The various mobile options give you great flexibility for multiple devices and the Bose App for iPad is great - it would be perfect if it could also share an iTunes account. The need to always be plugged in to AC isn't a detriment to using this speaker around the house but not great for being mobile otherwise.

I purchased this item being informed that it was truly wireless by a friend and after disclosing my requirements also to a sales rep I bought it. After setup attempts, I realized that it is not fully wireless thus requiring the power cord always, of which the smaller and cheaper Bose model does not require. Regardless, I have learned to love this purchase. Amazing sound quality. Fast BluTooth capabilities. Well made, except for the included remote, which often the back battery rotating cover snaps off. Otherwise. ..awesome!

I have been a true bose fan and been through 3 different kind. It comes down to the memory of the portable speaker's charge loses with in a years time. This one is a straight plug in and provides some really good quality

Speaker sounds great. Has 6 presets which is convenient for quick connection to your favorite internet radio station. Just wish SiriusXM was available for it. Maybe in a future update.

My son has been researching good blue tooth speakers and he chose this one to put on his Christmas list. He loves it. It has great sound and it's perfect for what he needed it for.
