This system is NOT surround sound and there are no plans to make this remotely competitive with SONOS

It’s not wireless at all. It has to stay plugged in.

I first bought a pair of the Sonos Play 1 online based on reviews I read. It sounded like the Sonos were going to perfect for what I wanted. I was mistaken. The Sonos sounded terrible. Within 2 days of trying to like them I returned them to best buy and exchanged them for the Bose sound touch 10. I am very happy with my decision. These speakers are just what I wanted. Flexibility to play in multiple rooms along with great sound quality. Bose continues to impress me. Thanks again Bose for making a great quality speaker.

I love that it has wifi and bluetooth and it sound way louder than the Bose Mini.

I received this system for Christmas as the last edition to my SoundTouch family. I now own the 10, 20 and 30. I started on the SoundTouch journey last Christmas with the 30, and have acquired the 20 and 10 to date. I have no complaints about the systems. The app makes operation an ease. The app allows you to play all units at the same time, separately and much more. I use the 10 as "accent sound" on a corner bookshelf that I have in the same room where I placed my 20. The 10 is more of an accent speaker. It is not designed to necessarily "blow you away" but it lives up to Bose standards. I highly recommend Bose SoundTouch 10,20 and 30 to anyone who is looking for a quality, versatile wireless system. The beauty of these systems is that you aren't forced to overextend yourself by purchasing them all in one set. You start with one and continue adding as time goes on. Wifi adds to the beauty, as it allows you to move the speaker anywhere you desire without working about extending wires etc. I am a very satisfied customer.

Ordered the Sound Touch 10 off my credit card rewards points in white. Don't let its handy, compact size fool you, which, by the way, fits nicely into my white bookshelf space at the very bottom. I have a 1,200 sqft craftsman bungalow, and despite the size (and its noticeable weight), its sound is superior. Bump some Madonna and you will know exactly what I mean. Easy app to download on any phone and I am not one bit tech savvy. Premium quality, wish it had a bit more in the highs but hey, consider its all-round quality. For about $ 200 or a bit more, I know it is not the average price range but it is so worth it if you can swing it.

I chose this model based upon the reviews for ease of use. I wanted a system that will reliably connect to my WiFi and an app that is sufficient to play the various music I have. When it works, the app is sufficient to accomplish my goal but that’s only when it connects, which is sporadically at best. I’ve been toiling with this device for 5 days and still cannot get the app to connect to the speakers or to get the speaker system to recognize my router. I’ve tried resetting the router, multiple times, to no avail. The sound quality it what I expected from Bose and when it works it lives up to its billing and reviews. I’ve attempted to link my Sirius XM account to the app and spent over 90 minuets on the phone with Sirius tech support since the app gave me a message that Sirius wasn’t available. Still cannot connect to Sirius. Maybe I have a defective unit and most likely will return this.

I got this for one very very good of a steal and I really enjoy the speaker. It's not going to blow you away in any style department that is for sure but it delivers very strong sound in a small form factor. It's worth the price and delivers where it matters WHEN it matters

I like EVERYTHING about this product. Good sound, mindless setup (if you say you're having trouble setting it up....then you should give up the idea of using technology...it's that simple. Only issue is I thought it had a battery to recharge but alas, it does not. Maybe I should've read all the specs. first.

1st: Excellent sound ! 2nd: Very good integration with Pandora. A++ 3rd: Bluetooth for Google music (B) Far exceeded my expectations in regards to sound and the sound of the music coming via Pandora.

I recently purchased the SoundTouch 10 and it is a wonderful product, however, I also own the SoundTouch 20. Since I own the 20, I can't fully endorse the 10. I enjoy having the display screen on the 20 which isn't offered on the 10. I would highly recommend the SoundTouch, however, I would go with the 20 rather than the 10.

The sound is great even at max volume! I wish it had more app support through the app but I don't mind using BT for the apps it dosnt support.
